Investigation of Photoluminescence Properties for Dibenzosiloles and Tetrabenzospirosilole

Silicon-containing ${\pi}$-conjugated compounds, especially silacyclopentadienes (siloles), have emerged as a new class of electroactive materials with good electron transport properties in OLEDs. 9,9'-spiro-9-silabifluorene compound as well as its starting material 2,2'-dibromobiphenyl have been synthesized with higher yields. Spirosilabifluorene is expected to be an efficient host material for the blue-light emitting diodes. 9,9'-spiro-9-silabifluorene, 1,1-dichloro-1-silafluorene, and 1,1-dimethyl-1-silafluorene were characterized by $^1H$-NMR, UV/Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
Investigation of Relationship between Etch Current and Morphology and Porosity of Porous Silicon

Relationship between etch current and morphology and porosity of porous silicon (PS) has been investigated. The gravimetric method is applied to measured the porosity of PS. As the current density increase, the silicon dissolution rate increases, resulting in a higher porosity and etching rate. The result shows that linear dependence of PS porosity and etching rate as a function of current density. The morphology of porous silicon was investigated by using cold field emission scanning electron micrograph (FE-SEM). The size of pores formed during anodization is predominantly controlled by the current density, with an increase in the pore size corresponding to an increase in the current density.
새로운 비스-크라운 에테르류의 합성 (제 1 보) : 실옥산 사슬에 연결된 크라운 에테르

실옥산 사슬과 크라운 에테르가 연결된 유연성이 큰 2가지 새로운 비스-크라운 에테르를 합성하였다. 1,3-Bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl-1,3-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl disiloxane(1)는 백금촉매 존재하에서 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8)과 1,3-bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl disiloxane (10)의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl trisiloxane (2)은 백금촉매 존재하에서 crown ether (8)과 1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyl trisiloxane (11)의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. 3-Methylene-13-crown-4 (7), 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8), 및 3-methylene-19-crown-6 (9)은 NaH 존재하에서 triethylene glycol (3), tetraethylene glycol (4), 및 pentaethylene glycol (5)을 각각 3-chloro-2-chloro-methyl-1-propene (6)와 반응시켜서 합성하였다. New bis-crown ethers containing siloxane chain were synthesized. 1,3-Bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl-1,3-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl disiloxane (1) was synthesized by reaction of 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8) with 1,3-bis(trimethylsiloxy)-1,3-dimethyl disiloxane (10) in the presence of Pt catalyst. 1,1,3,3,5,5-Hexamethyl-1,5-dipentaoxacyclohexadecamethyl trisiloxane (2) was synthesized by the reaction of crown ether (8) with 1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyl trisiloxane (11) in the presence of Pt catalyst. 3-Methylene-13-crown-4 (7), 3-methylene-16-crown-5 (8), and 3-methylene-19-crown-6 (9) were synthesized by the reaction of triethylene glycol (3), tetraethylene glycol (4), and pentaethylene glycol (5) respectively with 3-chloro-2-chloro-methyl-1-propene (6) in the presence of NaH.
Study on Thickness of Porous Silicon Layer According to the Various Anodization Times

As the etching time is varied, the change of thickness of the porous silicon layers was successfully investigated. The thickness of the PSi layer as a function of anodization time for a p-type substrate that is etched at a constant current density of 50 $mA/cm^2$ in a 35% hydrofluoric acid solution shows a linear relationship between the etching time and the thickness of the PSi layer.

Methyl기를 포함하는 새로운 5종의 crown ether를 합성하였다. 2,3,4,5: 9,10,11,12-Dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,1-trioxacycloeicosane, 2,3,4,5: 9,10,11,12-dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,21,1-tetraoxacyclotricosane, 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12-dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,21,24,1-pentaoxacyclohexacosane, 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12 : 22,23,24,25 : 29,30,31,32-tetrabenzo-8,8,28,28-tetramethyl-15,18,21,35,38,1-hexaoxacyclotetracontane 그리고 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12 : 25,26,27,28:32,33,34,35-tetrabenzo-8,8,31,31-tetramethyl-15,18,21,24,38,41,44,1-octaoxacyclohexatetracontane은 (M = Na, K)존재하에서 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol과 di-, tri- 그리고 tetraethyleneglycol ditosylate의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. Diethyleneglycol ditosylate, triethyleneglycol ditosylate, tetraethyleneglycol ditosylate는 NaOH존재하에서 diethyleneglycol, triethyleneglycol 그리고 tetraethyleneglycol과 p-toluenesulfonylchloride의 반응에 의해 합성하였다. Five new crown ethers containing methyl groups were synthesized. 2,3,4,5: 9,10,11,12-Dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,1-trioxacycloeicosane, 2,3,4,5: 9,10,11,12-dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,21,1-tetraoxacyclotricosane, 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12-dibenzo-8,8-dimethyl-15,18,21,24,1-pentaoxacyclohexacosane, 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12 : 22,23,24,25 : 29,30,31,32-tetrabenzo-8,8,28,28-tetramethyl-15,18,21,35,38,1-hexaoxacyclotetracontane and 2,3,4,5 : 9,10,11,12 : 25,26,27,28:32,33,34,35-tetrabenzo-8,8,31,31-tetramethyl-15,18,21,24,38,41,44,1-octaoxacyclohexatetracontane were synthesized by reaction of 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol with di-, tri-and tetraethyleneglycol ditosylate in the presence of MOH(M = Na, K). Di-, tri- and tetraethyleneglycol ditosylate were synthesized by reaction of p-toluenesulfonylchloride with diethyleneglycol, triethyleneglycol and tetraethyleneglycol in the presence of NaOH.
형태 인식 기술을 이용한 판재의 홀 확장성 평가 시스템 개발

오늘날 자동차 산업에서 가장 대두되고 있는 충돌 안전성과 배기가스의 감축을 위해서 dual phase강, ferrite bainite 강 등의 고강도 강판이 개발 되었다. 이러한 강재는 주로 차체 구조부에 적용되며, 적용시에 차체 구조부가 가져야 하는 강도와 디자인 적인 측면에서 사용자의 요구에 맞추기 위하여 홀 플랜징 가공이 자주 사용된다. 이때 재료의 성형성을 알아보기 위한 홀 확장성 평가가 수행된다. 홀 확장실험에서는 크랙 생성 전후의 하중의 차이가 매우 작기 때문에, 단축 인장 시험에서와 같이 하중의 변화로 크랙 발생 유무를 판단하기가 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 홀 확장성 평가에서 사람의 눈으로 크랙의 발생 유무를 판단하는 방법의 부정확성을 보완하기 위해 CCD 카메라를 이용하여 크랙의 발생 유무를 판단하는 시스템을 개발하였다. Nowadays, one of the most interested area of automobile industry is the production of vehicle which has collision safety and ability to produce less amount of CO2. The achievement of such a dual performance is done by choosing the materials like dual phase steel, ferrite bainite steel, etc. These steels have been used in automotive chassis and body parts, and also used to be formed by hole flanging to meet the goal of strength and design requirement. The formability of sheet material was experimented by hole expansion test and the judgement relies on human eye and his experience. This manual judgement involves many errors and large deviation. This paper develops the automatic crack recognition system which finds a crack based on CCD image to complement the problem of the current method depending on human’s sense.

Background : Many studies have suggested that mastoidectomy possibly induces hearing loss in the contralateral non-operated ear through excessive noise or vibration energy from drilling. The aim of this study was to compare long-term postoperative hearing threshold change in the non-operated ear following three different types of otologic surgery requiring different drilling times. Methods : Medical charts of 108 patients who underwent tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, and translabyrinthine-approached (TLA) tumor excision were retrospectively reviewed. Results of hearing function tests were collected at 9 to 15 months postoperatively. The threshold shift between pre- and postoperative values in each group was analyzed, and an inter-group analysis was conducted. Results : There was no significant permanent threshold shift after surgery, regardless of the required drilling time. The inter-group analysis also showed no significant difference compared to the control group (tympanoplasty). Conclusions : Drilling in otologic surgery does not induce a permanent threshold shift in the non-operated ear, even in TLA tumor excision.
