Taste receptor cells respond to gustatory stimuli using a complex arrangement of receptor molecules, signaling cascades, and ion channels. When stimulated, these cells produce action potentials that result in the release of neurotransmitter onto an afferent nerve fiber that in turn relays the identity and intensity of the gustatory stimuli to the brain. A variety of mechanisms are used in transducing the four primary tastes. Direct interaction of the stimuli with ion channels appears to be of particular importance in transducing stimuli reported as salty or sour, whereas the second messenger systems cyclic AMP and inositol trisphosphate are important in transducing bitter and sweet stimuli. In addition to the four basic tastes, specific mechanisms exist for the amino acid glutamate, which is sometimes termed the fifth primary taste. The emerging picture is that not only do individual taste qualities use more than one mechanism, but multiple pathways are available for individual tastants as well.

Recently, Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(IPMSM) is widely used in the industry applications such as power train for hybrid vehicles and compressor motors of air-conditioner due to its high power density and wide speed range. There are some ways for confirming of maximum power in IPMSM. However, This paper suggests that there is a way about making sure maximum power by reducing turn numbers of armature winding. Setting up the voltage equation through the equivalent circuit and vector diagram of IPMSM first, and then estimating the parameter and power of IPMSM by changing the turn numbers of armature winding and voltage. In order to satisfy output power, the turn numbers of armature winding is changed by using the characteristic analysis, and then checking whether secure maximum power or not.
전도성 입자의 형태가 감광성 실버 페이스트의 미세 전극 패턴 형성에 미치는 영향

전도성이 우수한 미세 전극 패턴을 형성하기 위해 은 분말을 함유한 감광성 페이스트를 구현하고 입자의 형태에 따른 전기적 특성을 평가하였다. 노볼락 에폭시 변성 아크릴레이트 올리고머, 아크릴레이트 단량체, 광개시제를 혼합하여 광경화 및 알칼리 현상이 가능한 수지조성을 기반으로 은 분말을 첨가하여 감광성 Ag 페이스트를 제조하였다. 구형 은 분말의 함량이 증가할수록 전도성 입자간 밀집도가 좋아져 비저항(volume resistance) 값은 낮아졌으며, 88 wt%의 구형 은 분말을 함유한 페이스트는 1.14×10<SUP>-4</SUP> Ω·cm의 값을 나타내었다. 구형과 판상형 은 분말을 8:2의 비로 혼합하였을 때 84 wt%로 은 분말의 함량을 줄였음에도 불구하고 비저항은 7.04×10<SUP>-5</SUP>Ω·cm로 가장 우수한 값을 보였다. 이 결과는 판상형 은 분말이 구형 분말 사이의 전도성 연결을 개선하여 전기가 흐르기 용이하도록 만들어 주었기 때문이다. Photosensitive silver pastes were developed using a mixture of spherical and flake-type silver particles for fine electrode patterns with high electrical conductivity, and the electrical characteristics were evaluated as a function of particle shape. The photosensitive silver pastes mixed up novolac epoxy-modified acrylate oligomer, acrylate monomer, and photoinitiator as a photocurable and alkali-developable binder resin composition, and silver spheres and flakes as conductive fillers. With a increase of silver loading amount the volume resistance decreased due to enhancement of packing density between the conductive fillers, where the conductive paste with 88 wt% silver sphere content showed 1.14×10<SUP>-4</SUP> Ω·cm. When the silver particles loading and sphere to flake ratio were 84 wt% and 8:2, the volume resistance exhibited 7.04×10<SUP>-5</SUP> Ω·cm. This result was attributed to improvement of electrical contacts between silver spheres by flakes.

When permanent magnet is embedded in the rotor of claw pole machine, the magnetic saturation of rotor core is largely reduced. As a result of the reduction of magnetic saturation, reluctance is reduced. Thus, larger Back-EMF is obtained due to the increase of flux linkage. In this paper, C-core which is the simplified motor is used to define the phenomena. The merit to attach permanent magnet in the rotor of claw pole machine is confirmed through 3D-FEA. Finally, permanet magnet size is optimized to obtain the maximum Back-EMF increase.
백하수오의 식품학적 영양 성분 및 휘발성 향기 성분 분석을 통한 관능적 특성 검토

본 연구는 백하수오가 가지는 일반 성분과 영양 성분에 대한 탐색을 실시하였다. 무기질에서 높은 칼륨 성분을 보이고 있었으며 라디칼 소거능 역시 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 아미노산에서는 유리 및 구성 아미노산 모두 arginine이 높은 함량을 나타냈으며 생리활성이 우수한 것으로 보고되는 γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA) 역시 높은 함량을 보이고 있다. 지방산 조성을 볼 때 필수지방산으로 알려진 linoleic acid가 가장 주된 지방산으로 나타났으며 ω-3 계열인 linolenic acid가 존재하는 것으로 볼 때 우수한 영양적 조성을 가지고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 관능검사를 통해 백하수오차의 경우 녹차에 비해 약간의 쓴맛과 단맛이 부족하다고 측정되었으나 농도 조절이나 부재료 첨가를 통해 개선할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. Nutritional compositions, volatile compounds, and sensory attributes of Cynanchi wilfordii Radix were analyzed in order to examine its practical utilization as a food resource. In the proximate analysis, protein and lipid contents were shown to be 14.6 and 5.0 mg/100 g, respectively, in C. wilfordii Radix. Potassium was the most predominant mineral (809 mg/100 g), as determined by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry in parallel with microwave acid digestion. Total phenolic content was found to be 410 mg/100 g. Further, arginine and linoleic acid were the most abundant amino acid and fatty acid of C. wilfordii Radix, respectively. To examine its functional properties, classical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) analysis was performed. As a result, the concentration of C. wilfordii Radix required to scavenge 50% of DPPH radicals was 1.16 mg of dried material. Lastly, in olfactory and sensory tests, β-eudesmol (woody odor) was the major flavor compound responsible for the bitter taste and sensory attributes of C. wilfordii Radix. Taken altogether, the above results provide important preliminary results for utilization of C. wilfordii Radix as a food resource.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between family life cycle and leisure barriers. The subjects, chosen by random sampling were 154 married Women. Spss pc^+ package was used for data analysis. Statistical techigues to analyze the data were a one-way ANOVA and the LSD-test. With the basis of the findings of this study used by above mentioned methods, conclusions are as follows : 1. Family life cycle exerts influence on leisure barriers. 2. The time, expenses and family barries was shown significant differences according to the family life cycle. 3. The personal and social barriers was shown no significant differences according to the family life cycle.

This research aims to establish the size standard of university library’s user space, and present the standard and method to calculate total area required in the planning of new building construction and remodeling. Nine university libraries newly constructed or remodeled since 2000 were selected among the libraries of large scale universities with more than 10,000 enrolled students as the target libraries in this research. The target libraries were classified into A group (five cases partially remodeled) and B group (four cases newly constructed or fully remodeled) on the basis of the change of times. A university library can be divided into three spaces (user space, administration space and public space). This research classified the reading room in the user space into bookshelf zone, reading zone, information/office zone and hall/other zone, and analyzed area ratio according to each zone. B group’s bookshelf zone decreased 12% more than A group, and B group’s reading zone increased 10% more than A group. However, there was no big change in the area ratio of information/office zone and hall/other zone. This can be interpreted that university library changes from book and archive preservation-oriented space to user-oriented space. This research presented a proper reading room area calculation method, based on the capacity of books, by reflecting such a change. Each zone’s standard was set up through classification of domestic and international standards, based on which, the calculation method of university library’s total floor area required was presented. The reason why there was difference in university library’s total floor area required according to domestic standard and international standard was that the number of enrolled students per seat in the reading room was different. The area calculation methods presented in this research can be utilized as useful data upon planning university library construction or remodeling.
