도시미화와 예술: '길 위의 예술'에 대한 비판적 소고

What is Art on the street? Is it a series of artworks or activities performed on the street? In other words, does "art on the street" refer to "Street Art" such as street performance, happening, graffiti, or wall-painting, or does it refer to "Street Furniture" which is related to "City Design" or "Environmental Design"? In a formal sense, they all belong to Art on the street. However, in this paper, I would like to use Art on the street in an even broader sense. To me, " the street" is a metaphor of "environment." Thus Art on the street is the art related to environment; it is an environment art. Art on the street attests the expansion of the concept of art and shows a new possibility of contemporary art. It is a promising new concept of art, but we cannot ignore the misapplication of the concept that we can find at the crossroad of Art on the street and "city beautification." Of course, Art on the street can and sometimes needs to beautify the city. However we still need to ask how to contribute to the city beautification with Art on the street and how to validate such a practice. City space is, most of all, a space that people live in. It sounds a cliche, but it is worth repeating to better understand Art on the street. When we consider the city space in terms of its system or organization, we often overlook that it is the space in which people live, and which people create. Art on the street concerns not the city itself, but the space in which people live and make relations for each other. Without taking this into account, Art on the street becomes a mere means to' embellish' the city and falls prey to the logic of capital. In this paper, I critically reviewed the problems such as City Development, Spectacularization, City Environmental Design, Public Interest and City Museum. I intended to emphasize that Art on the street is produced in the cultural space of city, but it also tends to break the mold of the cultural space and seeks a new possibility. Some might argue that my claims are unrealistic because Art on the street is not an idea but a practice. While humbly accepting the objection, I hope my critical suggestions guide a more productive direction to continue our discussions of Art on the street.
후크형 강섬유를 보강한 고강도 콘크리트의 휨 성능 평가

본 연구에서는 섬유혼입으로 콘크리트의 취성적 성질을 개선하기 위해 콘크리트 내부에 강섬유를 혼입하였으며, 설계기준 압축강도 40 MPa의 고강도 콘크리트를 사용 하였다. 실험방법으로는 형상비 67의 강섬유를 사용하였으며, 혼입률은 0.75%, 1.00% 및 1.50%로 설정하였다. 휨 크리프 실험을 위해 기존문헌을 참고하여 휨 크리프 장비를 제작하였으며, 항온항습실을 제작하였다. 섬유혼입에 따른 휨 성능의 향상은 우수하였으며, 거동 또한 혼입률의 증가에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 크리프 실험에서는 미비하지만, 크리프 저항성능이 보여졌고, 크리프 계수에서는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.
강섬유의 형상비에 따른 고강도 콘크리트의 휨 및 전단강도

This study investigates the mechanical properties of SFRC reinforced by mixing different steel fibers with compressive strength of 70 MPa. In this study, The fiber aspect ratio consist of 60 and 80 and tensile strength is 1,100 MPa used. Cylindrical specimens with a ∅150×300 mm were made fo compression test, and prismatic specimens with a 150×150×550 mm were made fo flexural and direct shear tests. Test results show that the superior compression performance was observed in SFRC with Mixing different steel fibers.
모세스 멘델스존의 미학 “용인능력(Billigungsvermogen)” 개념과 칸트 미학과의 연관성을 중심으로

본고는 18세기 독일 근대미학에서 중요한 위치를 점했던 모세스 멘델스존의 미학을 “용인능력(Billigungsvermogen)” 개념을 중심으로 고찰하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 멘델스존의 미학은 바움가르텐의 완전성 미학을 계승하면서도 칸트의 취미판단 미학과 상당한 연관성을 보여주고 있기에 객관주의와 주관주의 미학 사이에 전개된 미학이라고 할 수 있다. 특히 감각의 고유한 능력에 상응하는 “용인능력”은 그의 미학이론에서 중심적 역할을 하는 개념이다. 인식능력 및 욕구능력과는 구분되는 용인능력은 “평온한 만족(ruhiges Wohlgefallen)”의 상태에서 이루어 진다. 멘델스존의 미학은 무엇보다 칸트의 무관심성의 미학과 여러 측면에서 맞닿아 있다. 본고는 용인능력을 중심으로 멘델스존의 미학을 고찰하고, 또한 어떤 점에서 그의 미학이 특징적으로 칸트 미학을 선취하고 있는지를 논구할 것이다. 이를 통해 멘델스존의 미학이 미학이론과 미학사에서 결코 간과할 수 없는 중요한 주제와 핵심 쟁점을 제시하고 있다는 점이 밝혀질 것이다. In dieser Arbeit wird Asthetik bei Moses Mendelssohn, der in der deutschen Asthetik des 18. Jahrhunderts eine bedeutende Rolle spielt, in Bezug auf den Begriff des Billigugnsvermogens. Entwicklungsgeschtlich gesehen, konstituiert sich Mendelssohns Asthetik in einem Spannungsfeld zwischen der objekt-bezogenen vollkommenheitsAsthetik (bei Baumgartenen) und subjektiv-bezogenen GeschmacksAsthetik (bei Kant). Insbesondere ist der Begriff "Empfindungsvermogen" oder "Billigungsvermogen" in seiner Asthetik sehr wichtig. Mendelssohn bestimmt neben dem Erkenntnisvermogen und Begehrungsvermogen "das Billigungsvermogen" als ein drittes Vermogen. Und er macht deutlich, daß die Besonderheit der Asthetischen Betrachtung im "ruhigen Wohlgefallen" besteht. Eine Ahnliche Auffassung wie "ruhiges Wohlgefallen" ist auch bei Kant zu finden. Diese Arbeit stellt sich die Aufgabe, Mendelssohns Asthetik im Hinblick auf das Billigungsvermogen und auch das VerhAltnis zwischen Mendelssohn und Kant sinnvoll darzustellen. Dadurch kann, hoffe ich, die wichtige Stellung Mendelssohns in der Geschichte der Asthetik erklArt werden.
1,600 MPa급 강섬유를 혼합한 고강도 콘크리트의 역학적 특성 평가

This paper describes the mechanical properties of high strength concrete with 1,600 MPa strength steel fiber. The fiber aspect ratio and fiber volume fraction used in this study is 80 and 0.75%. The Cylindrical specimens with ∅150×300 mm and the prisms with 150×150×550 mm were mad and tested in accordance with KS F2403 and ASTM C1609. As the result, specimens with high strength fiber has superior performance then that with normal strength fiber.

The aim of this paper is to investigate Public Art in the aspects of aesthetics. For this purpose, this paper deals with two key concepts of Public Art; site-specific and community-orientated art. And I will review critically what is neglected in the generally accepted explanation of Public Art. The meaning of Public Art depends on how to explain the relationship between Art and Publicity. The concept of Publicity is very important in Public Art. Among the theories that explain the concept of Publicity, this paper recapitulates Hannah Arendt's concept of 'public sphere'. I contend that this concept is very useful for the exact meaning of Publicity of Public Art today. Finally I will clarify what is the role of Public Art in the 'public sphere' focusing on the tension, which is innate in between 'publicity of art' and 'autonomy of art'.
혼입률 및 형상비에 따른 고강도 강섬유보강 콘크리트의 역학적 특성 평가

This paper describes the effect of steel fiber volume fraction and aspect ratio on mechanical properties of SFRC with compressive strength of 40 MPa. In this study, The fiber volume fractions consist of 0.25%, 0.50% and 0.75% and aspect ratios are 64 and 80 used. The prisms with 150×150×550 mm were made and tested in accordance with EN-14651. Test results show that the superior flexural performance was observed in SFRC with higher fiber volume fraction and aspect ratio.
