In recent, a great number of electric motor units (EMUs) have been disused in Korea according as its legal duration is 25 years. Generally, the disused EMUs are disposed by selling original form or scrapping for junk. Until now, any efficient disposal system for disused EMUs has not existed. The purpose of this study was to develop the recycling process for the FRP used as an interior panel of EMU. This process was to manufacture a product mixing binders, fillers and the powdered FRP. The characteristics of a product were changed with the mixing ratio of the powdered FRP. The optimal ratio of the powdered FRP was from 10 % to 15 % (w/w). In the future, the application of this process can enhance the efficiency of resource recycling and decrease the cost of waste treatment in the EMU industry.

신경줄기세포의 분화과정에서 Olig2 유전자 프로모터의 메틸화 분석

Neural stem cells (NSCs) are multipotent stem cell known that can differentiate to neuronal cell such as astrocyte, oligdendrocyte or neuron. NSCs maintain neurosphere to exchange their signal molecules and keep their multipotency. In early differentiate stage, neurosphere will be broken and their gene expression will be changed. In this study, after withdrawal of bFGF and EGE that is essential growth factor for NSCs analysis of Olig2 gene expression pattern and analysis of Olig2 promoter CpG island DNA methylation pattern using bisulfite sequencing. In early differentiation NSCs, gene expression of O1ig2 is decreased but CpG island of Olig2 promoter keep their hypomethylation. 신경줄기세포는 뉴론, 희소돌기아교세포 또는 아교세포 등의 신경세포로 분화 가능한 다능성 줄기세포이다. 신경줄기세포는 신경구 상태로 분자신호전달과 다능성을 유지한다. 초기 분화단계에서, 신경구는 흐트러지고 유전자 발현양상이 변화한다. 본 연구에서는 신경줄기세포의 필수 성장인자인 bFGF와 EGF를 제거한 분화 초기단계에서 Olig2 유전자의 발현 양상과 Olig2 프로모터의 CpG island의 DNA 메틸화에 패턴을 bisulfite sequencing을 이용하여 분석하였다. 신경줄기 세포 초기 분화 시 Olig2 유전자의 발현은 감소하지만 Olig2 유전자의 프로모터 부위의 CpG island는 탈메틸화 상태를 유지하는 것을 확인하였다.
