The interpretation of the medical labortary data is a decision making process by comparison to reference intervals. Authors carried out to estimate reference intervals of peripheral blood cells in 61 cases of the healthy infants, male and female of 1-5 years old group who visited Catholic University Our Lady of Mercy Hospital to be checked physical examination from June to july 1997. We use automated blood cell counter Coulter Gen-S to examine the samples and the data was handled with modified statistical method by parametric method. The results obtained are as follows: 1). The Reference intervals of WBC and RBC were 4.82-14.3X103 / JlL and 3.77-4.82X 106 / JlL. 2). The Reference intervals of Hb,Hct and Plt were 10.4-13.8g/dl, 30.6-39.8% and 195- 483X 1 03 /JlL,respecti vely . 3). The Reference intervals of MCV, MCH and MCHC were 70.l -88.lfL, 23.4-31.0pg and 32.5-36.lg/dl, respectively.
헥사포드 기구를 이용한 다축 힘/토오크 센서 교정장치 개발

In this study, we have developed a hexapod-type 6-axes force/torque calibration system suitable for application across diverse industries, including the automotive, robot and aviation sectors. A 3DOF load cell can be calibrated with relatively accurate results for measuring forces in three orthogonal directions. Nevertheless, the precise measurement of pure torque when subjected to orthogonal forces on a cantilever presents considerable challenges. To enhance torque calibration accuracy, we propose a novel design inspired by kinematic analysis of the hexapod structure. This innovative design comprises two distinct components: an upper structure serving as an actuator and a lower structure serving as a measuring unit. The upper structure employs six precise linear actuators and twelve Universal Prismatic Spherical joints to efficiently transmit loads in parallel, while the lower structure for force measurement integrates six precise uniaxial load cells and twelve flexible joints. An analysis has been conducted to confirm that designed the moving plate possesses adequate rigidity to measure linear forces up to 20kN and torques up to 5kNm. Additionally, a dedicated control system has been developed to regulate the speed and positioning of the moving plate. By introducing this 6-axis calibration system and conducting comprehensive experimental evaluations of multi-axis load cells, we have contributed to the increased feasibility of multi-axis load cell calibration within domestic calibration institutions.

We evaluated a new autocoagulyzer "AMAX" which is a automatic coagulation analyzer system adapted mechanical, optical, chromogenic method. The mean values of within-day precisions and between-day precisions were 0.45%~2.86% and 1.28%~4.21% in coefficient variation(C.V.), respectively. The comparison study for PT & APTT indicated good correlation between mechanical method & optical method, and the correlation efficient(r) were in the range of 0.99935 to 0.9927. As a fully-automated analyzer that delivers high throughput with rapid and reliable test results, The AMAX is suggested to offer these advantages : throughput rates of 190 PT/hour, 60 sample positions with continuous reloading capabilities, quarter-volume PT & APTT testing for significant reagent savings, highly versatile software with minimal operator interaction, flexible instrumentation for both routine and stat testing, and the patented Ball Method technology. We concluded that AMAX is suitable as a automatic coagulation analyzer for the 600 bed sized like Our Lady of Mercy Hospital.

Being supported by computer power enhancement, we can now extract component input forces from multi-body vehicle model running virtual durability test track directly. Hence, recently, fatigue analysis could get more power because input forces or component dynamic stress history could be calculated from dynamic simulation not from real test. In this paper, a virtual durability test process using multi-body dynamic simulation and fatigue analysis simultaneously is introduced. In dynamic simulation flexible bodies are considered when their natural modes conflict the frequency characteristics of road load. And, in fatigue analysis a seam weld model is considered.

The measurement of insulin is a useful adjunct to the glucose tolerance test as an aid to the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus or prediabetic syndromes. Insulin measurements also essential for the differential diagnosis of insulinoma or other hypoglycemic states. We have evaluated the automated Insulin assay on the IMx instrument(Abbott Laos.), Our evaluation of the insulin test by MEIA was: 1. Within-run & Between-run precision of insulin expressed in coefficient of variation(C.V) were the range of 3.k30Al to 2.31% and 3.000/0 to 3.<J2%, respectively, 2. The comparison study for insulin indicated good correlation between MEIA(X) and RIA(Y), correlation efficient(r) was 0.95, regression with RIA(Y) was Y=1.0Z33 x X-1.1&34. Our conclusion is that insulin by MEIA method showed relatively good precision, easy to operate, fully automated and showed good correlation with RIA method.
유리제 문화재 복원용 광경화성 수지의 물성 연구 및 적용

본 논문은 유리제 문화재 복원에 안정한 물성을 지닌 복원재료를 선정하기 위한 연구이다. 아크릴계 광경화성수지(FLGPCL04 Clear®)를 기준으로 우레탄계 광경화성수지(SECURE CP-7321®)를 10%씩 가감한 혼합 시편 11종을 제작하고 6종의 물성실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 굴절률, 비중, 접착력, 황변도의 측정값에 대해서는 11종 혼합재료 모두에 대하여 유사하였으나 표면경도 및 압축강도 측정값에서는 우레탄계 광경화성 수지의 혼합 비율이 10~20% 범위일 때 가장 적합하였다. 즉, 유리제 유물을 복원한 이후의 상태 유지에 가장 효과적이다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 아크릴계와 우레탄계 광경화성 수지를 9:1로 혼합한 재료(AU9010)를 경주 황남대총 북분에서 출토된 유리잔(황북519)의 보존 처리에 적용하였다. This study investigated the material properties of UV-curable Resin in order to identify stable materials for use in the restoration of glass cultural properties. Tested samples were based on acrylic UV-curable Resin (SECURE CP-7321®), to which urethane UV-curable Resin (FLGPCL04 Clear®) was added in 10% increments to produce eleven samples. The results showed that all eleven samples had similar properties in terms of refractive index, density, adhesive strength, and anti-yellowing. But the surface hardness and compressive strength were optimal and effective for maintaining the shape of artifacts after restoration treatment when the proportion of urethane resin was in the range of 10-20%. Based on these findings, the mixing sample [acrylic UV-curable Resin(9) : urethane UV-curable Resin(1)] was applied in the conservation treatment of a glass cultural propertie (Hwangbuk 519) excavated from the North Mound of Hwangnamdaechong, Tomb in Gyeongju.
