본 연구를 통하여 극한 파고를 계산하는 방법들을 제시하였다. Type III 분포에 근거해서 분포 함수의 파라미터 산출을 위하여 non-linear multiple regression 방법, skewness 방법, maximum likelihood방법들을 사용하였다. 좀 더 정확한 결과를 얻기 위하여 추정된 분포 함수의 차이를 다항식을 도입하여 맞추었다. 제시한 방법을 응용하여 계산 예들을 보였다. The computational methods of extreme sea level are developed in this study. Based on type III asymptotic distribution, non-linear multiple regression method, skewness method and maximum likelihood method are used to evaluate the parameters of the distribution. The difference between real data and evaluated distribution function is fitted to get more desirable accuracy by employing polynominals. The numerical examples are given in the last section in order to illustrate the application of the present scheme.

The aim of this paper is to develop a feasible forming condition under which the radial-axial ring rolling (RARR) process can be established successfully and then leads to diminished fishtail defects. The mathematical model for the RARR process is developed based on the constant volume condition of ring blanks and the constant growth velocity condition (CGVC) of a ring outer diameter. The feasible forming condition is determined by the reasonable rage of extreme growth velocities. For a verification of the feasible forming condition for RARR process, experiments are carried out.
급속응고된 Fe-6.5wt% Si 강판의 미세조직과 자기적 특성에 미치는 열처리의 영향

The alloying of 6.5wt% Silicon in iron decreases the magnetization and the anisotropy and minimizes the iron loss noticeably. But it is very difficult to make thin sheets because of its poor ductility which is due to an ordering reaction (body centered cubic to CsCl type crystal structure). However the ordering reaction can be suppressed by rapid solidification method. The cooling rate of rapidly solidified Fe-6.5wt% Si alloy is about 10³K/s and rapidly solidified structure are fine structure, cellular structure, dendrite and equiaxed grain from surface. The precipitates of DO₃Phase emerges on B₂matrix and the coercive force was 0.51 Oe (50cycle, 15KGauss) in Fe-6.5wt% Si alloy which was processed by heat treatment of 1150℃ for 1hr in high vacuum.
Water Pollutant Assessment of Wastewater Treatment Plants in Daegu

Water pollution can be a severe problem for life and environmental health. Anthropogenic activity is one of the factors that can produce pollution in the water. Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is a solution to control pollutants from various anthropogenic activities. This study aims to investigate water quality parameters in several public WWTPs in Daegu City through a temporal and spatial variation approach. Wastewater from industrial sources has resulted in difficulties in the COD removal process (removal efficiencies: 85.3% - 92.7%) due to the presence of non-biodegradable organic content. Whereas Total Nitrogen (TN) became the most challenging pollutant to be removed at each WWTP with removal efficiencies ranging from 70.1% - 81.4%. Further effort is needed to increase the T-N removal efficiency in each WWTP and COD removal efficiency for industrial wastewater.
