프리즘패널의 자연채광 성능 분석에 있어서 포톤맵 알고리즘이 적용된 RADIANCE 프로그램의 정확성 검증

Prismatic panels are used with windows to improve the uniformity ratio of illuminance and interior daylighting distribution under direct sunlit conditions. The prismatic panels admit skylight and sunlight, and reflects into deep interior space. The prismatic panel would have greater effect on the interior daylighting condition under clear sky which has both skylight and sunlight than overcast sky which has only skylight.<br/> The object of this study was to evaluate the effects of various prismatic panels' configurations on the interior daylighting condition under various sky conditions. The major variables related to the prismatic panels included prism's section angle, installation slope angle and the ratio of prismatic panel area to window frame area, the sun angle and the interior partitions. In this study, a series of parametric physical scale model measurements and RADIANCE simulations were conducted with the Photon Map algorithm. The results of this study will provide building designers with the design data at early design stages.
자연광과 형광등이 실내식물의 광합성량 및 엽록소함량에 미치는 영향

Countries around the world recognize the importance of the lighting energy saving. Many study of the comparison of the daylighting and the artificial lighting were realized. But the comparison was not precise by reason of the weather varying from hour to hour. The evaluating performance of the daylighting and the artificial lighting must be evaluated in the same condition. In this study two experiment chambers which were consist of daylight and artificial lighting were made. And to make the same illuminance condition. 12 32W flours cant lamp were used with dimming-controller. The same illuminance of two chambers could enable the precise comparison experiment. In the photosynthesis. an increasing rate of the plants in daylighting chamber was higher than that in artificial chamber, and in the chlorophyll is same. The reason of this result is showed by difference of spectrum energy. The light-absorbing pigments of plant need the spectrum of the large wavelength. The spectrum energy of daylighting is consist of ultraviolet, infrared ray and visible rays. But the spectrum energy of fluorescent lighting is only high in the special wavelength.

Many high-rise buildings are built with highly specular envelop such as glass and metallic materials to show the buildings as landmarks and provide the occupants with better views. These specular building envelops, however, frequently cause glare problems when the direct sunlight is reflected from the building facades. The purpose of this study is to suggest a methodology of evaluating the glare potentials from buildings with specular surfaces by computer simulation techniques. An actual building located in Seoul was evaluated in terms of glare potentials by existence of sun, disability glare, visual field, veiling glare.

Recently, various daylighting systems have been developed and applied to buildings. However, existing daylighting systems are of no practical use due to a high initial cost and difficulties in maintenance. In addition, there is a main problem of securing sufficient additional space for collecting daylight and to be available in the overcast sky. Wall-type daylight system, which is the subject of this study and doesn't need additional space for collecting daylight, is a very useful day lighting system, because it can substitute for a vertical wall of a building. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the day lighting performance of Wall-type Daylight Collecting system using two mock-up models. The performance of the general windows were compared with that of Wall-type Daylight Collecting systems placed on the windows in terms of illuminance distribution on the work plane at the height of 75cm and luminance distribution on the south wall.

It is necessary to provide sufficient daylighting to indoor. Daylighting systems are useful to apply for modern buildings. This study is to suggest architectural application of daylighting systems. By case studies, architectural application methods are analyzed. For the study, the configurations and characteristics of day lighting systems are comparatively analyzed. It will help architectural application of daylighting systems.

Daylighting evaluation for buildings needs to include both quantitative and qualitative aspects. However the current day lighting related evaluation items in Korea's apartment building certification systems only consider quantitative properties such as solar access and effective window ratio. In this paper, an improved evaluation index called UDI was used to evaluate daylight performance of apartment buildings in order to evaluate both quantitative and qualitative properties. Then, the results were compared with those of the current domestic methods to suggest an improvement.
