This paper proposes new method for predicting sound power emitted from the control valve and piping system. The sound power level measurement method using the reverberation chamber is much easy to apply in the field compared to the method using the anechoic chamber. Measured sound power was used to determine the coefficients of the equation predicting sound power level. The noise prediction equation was developed at relative flow coefficient, 0.11. The sound power level predicted is in good agreement with the measured value. Proposed method can be used to express the noise characteristics of the control valves. 새로운 콘트롤 밸브 소음 예측 방법을 제안하고 밸브 및 배관으로 이루어진 시스템에 적용하여 그 가능성을 할인하였다. 기존의 소음 예측 방법은 무향실을 이용하는 기존의 예측방법보다 일반 산업체에서 시험 시설을 설치하기가 용이한 장점이 있다. 측정된 음향파워를 이용하여 소음예측식을 결정하고 상대유량계수 0.11인 경우 소음예측식에 따라 유량 및 차압의 변화에 따른 음향파워레벨을 평가하였고 그 결과가 측정값과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 제안된 밸브소음 예측기법은 콘트롤밸브의 소음특성을 나타내는 지표로서 사용할 수 있다.
표준중량충격원을 이용한 건축물의 바닥 충격음 차단성능 측정불확도 평가

In this paper, a method for evaluating the measurement uncertainty is proposed when measuring of floor impact sound insulation of buildings using standard heavy impact source. In addition to the effect of repeated measurements, several other factors such as measurement location, impact location, equipment used for sound pressure measurement, and heavy impact source, were considered. A mathematical model for the average maximum impact sound level and the uncertainty evaluation method for each factor were proposed. The present proposed method was applied to measurement results to evaluate the average maximum impact sound pressure level and the measurement uncertainty. 본 논문은 표준 중량충격원을 이용한 건축물의 바닥충격음 차단성능을 측정하는 경우 측정불확도를 평가하는 방법을 다루었다. 반복 측정의 영향 이외에도 측정 위치의 영향, 가진 위치의 영향, 음압측정에 사용된 장비의 영향및 충격원의 영향 등을 고려하였다. 평균 최대 바닥충격음 레벨 측정의 수학적 모델을 제시하고 요인별 불확도 평가방법을 제안하였으며, 제안한 방법을 실제 측정 결과에 적용하여 평균 최대 바닥충격음 레벨 및 측정불확도를 평가하였다.

There are many standard methods measuring the loss factor of the sheet type material. Among them three methods are introduced - vibration decay method, steady excitation method and suspending impact excitation method. Theoretical basis of them are explained in detail to help deep understanding of the methods. Loss factor of the steel sheet are estimated using three different methods and their results are compared. Standard methods are applied to prepare the specimen, test and estimate the data. It appeared that claimed-free broad band excitation method could give loss factors depending on the frequency and the most robust estimates.
Taxonomic review of the genera Bombylius and Bombylella (Diptera: Bombyliidae) in Korea

The bee fly genera Bombylius and Bombylella in Korea are taxonomically reviewed. They are among the most commonly encountered flower visiting pollinators that appear mimicking bumblebees. As a result of our investigation of these two closely related genera, we have recognized six Bombylius and one Bombylella species, including two newly recorded (marked by asterisks) and one new species in Korea: Bombylius ambustus*, Bls. callopterus*, Bls. erythropleurus, sp. nov., Bls. lejostomus, Bls. major, Bls. shibakawae, and Bombylella koreanus. Bombylella koreanus has been treated as either Bombylella or Bombylius in the recent literature, but we consider it as belonging to the former genus based on its diagnostic characteristics. Bombylius erythropleurus, sp. nov., is here described new to science based on both sexes collected in South Korea. We also provide a specific key, diagnoses and color photographs of adult external structures including male and female genitalia.
