In this study, a carbon fiber composite yarn with the desired stiffness and ductility was fabricated for use in hybrid grid fabrics for seismic reinforcement, and the optimum structures of the grid fabrics were evaluated. Carbon fiber composite yarn was prepared by a double-covering process with carbon fiber/aramid fiber/high-strength PET fiber. It was confirmed that the strength of the carbon fiber composite yarn was greatly increased compared to that of carbon fiber, and the elongation increased by about 0.5%. The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) extrusion coating method was more suitable for the carbon fiber composite yarn than urethane impregnation for the coating process. Meanwhile, in the evaluation of yarn fineness and grid structure, thick fibers had greater strengths. When comparing the strength and elongation, the bi-directional grid showed no advantages over the unidirectional grid.

In this study, a 6-line seaming method was used to connect woven geotextiles for soft ground reinforcement and select adhesives were added to the seaming part of the woven geotextile to improve the seam strength. Different reinforcement effects were observed according to the type of adhesive used. The strength retention of the seam strength was excellent when the cyanoacrylate adhesive was used in place of the epoxy adhesive. Since the reduction factor directly affects the tensile and seam strengths of the woven geotextile, it is essential to reinforce the seam using proper adhesives. The reduction factor and long-term performance of the adhesive agent are thought to contribute to the improvement of seam strength in woven geotextiles, and this was supported by the experimental results.

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are widely used in polymer composites as filler materials to enhance various characteristics of the composites because of their remarkable mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. In this study, we investigate the effects of MWCNTs on the electrical and wear characteristics of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) composites, and compare the results with the effects of carbon black (CB). The HIPS composites are classified as Bare-HIPS, MWCNT-HIPS composites containing 2, 3, 4, and 5 wt% MWCNTs, and CB-HIPS containing 17 wt% CB. Electrical characteristics are evaluated by measuring the surface resistance using a 4-point probe. Wear characteristics are evaluated using the reciprocating wear test, and a chrome steel ball with a curvature of 6.3 mm is used as the counterpart. The results show that the addition of MWCNTs or CB can improve the electrical and wear characteristics of HIPS composites. In the case of MWCNT-HIPS composites, surface resistance, friction coefficient, and specific wear rate decrease as the concentrations of MWCNTs increase. Moreover, the addition of MWCNTs is more effective in improving the electrical and wear characteristics of HIPS composites compared to the addition of CB. To fabricate the HIPS composite with appropriate electrical and wear characteristics, more than 4 wt% MWCNTs is added to HIPS.
포스트코로나 시대의 시각예술: 디지털 아트에서의 아우라 문제에 관하여

코로나바이러스 이후 시각예술계에서는 디지털 기술을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 디지털 이미지가 예술의 대안이 될 수 있는지에 대해서는 논란의 여지가 있으며, 디지털의 한계를 지적하는 이들은 진품성을 문제 삼는다. 진품성 개념은 발터 벤야민의 아우라 개념에 기대고 있다. 벤야민은 예술작품의 아우라를 제의적 기능과의 연관성 속에서 파악하였고, 여기에서 예술 작품의 진품성이 가지는 아우라적 권위가 탄생한다. 아우라의 발생은 인공물에 한정되지 않는다. 인간은 자연을 경험하며 어떠한 감정을 느끼는데, 이 또한 아우라 발생의 원인이 된다. 벤야민은 이때의 아우라를 ‘시선’으로 정의한다. 사진으로 대표되는 20세기의 복제기술은 아우라를 몰락시켰다. 사진과 영화처럼 원본성이 없는 예술품이 등장했으며, 예술이 자본주의 시스템 안으로 편입되면서 하나의 상품이 되었고, 숭배의 대상에서 즐김의 대상이 되었다. 벤야민에게 아우라의 몰락은 예술의 몰락이 아니다. 아우라의 붕괴는 새로운 형태의 예술의 출현을 의미한다. 그러나 벤야민의 주장과 달리 아우라는 붕괴되지 않았으며, 오히려 오늘날 아우라는 예술의 필요조건이 되었다. 디지털 예술에서 중요한 것은 시선의 아우라이다. 디지털 예술작품의 아우라는 반드시 거리감에 한정되지 않는다. 준비된 현대의 수용자는 동등한 입장에서 작품과 교류하며, 능동적인 주체로서 작품과 시선을 주고받는다. After the coronavirus, the visual arts world is actively using digital technology. Whether digital images can be an alternative to art is controversial, and those who point out the limitations of digital question authenticity. The concept of authenticity rests on Walter Benjamin's concept of aura. Benjamin understood the aura of artwork in relation to its ceremonial function, from which the authenticity of artwork as aura-like authority is born. The generation of aura is not limited to artifacts. Humans experience nature and feel certain emotions, which also causes the generation of aura. Benjamin defines the aura at this time as ‘the gaze’. The reproduction technology of the 20th century, represented by photography, destroyed the aura. Artworks without originality such as photos and movies appeared, and as art was incorporated into the capitalist system, artworks became a commodity, and they are no more objects of worship but enjoyments. For Benjamin, the downfall of the aura is not the downfall of art. The collapse of the aura marks the emergence of new forms of art. Contrary to Benjamin's claim, however, the aura did not disintegrate; rather, it has become a necessary condition of art today. What is important in digital art is the aura of the gaze. The aura of a digital artwork is not necessarily limited to a sense of distance. The prepared contemporary audience interacts with the work on an equal footing and exchanges gaze with the work as an active subject.
항응고제/항혈소판제와 프로톤펌프억제제 병용의 경제성 평가에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets are effective in preventing cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). However, as an adverse effect, the risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB) leads to additional costs due to increased treatment and decreased quality of life. Accordingly, the administration of proton pump inhibitors (PPI) is recommended to prevent UGIB. We conducted a systematic review of economic evaluations of PPI co-therapy for patients taking long-term anticoagulants/ antiplatelets to prevent CVDs to examine the cost effectiveness of PPI co-therapy. We searched literature from PubMed and EMBASE with keywords including types of economic evaluations and active ingredients of anticoagulants and antiplatelets on 13/07/2022. Two independent reviewers conducted a systematic review. As a result, six economic evaluation studies were identified. All studies compared PPI co-therapy with low-dose aspirin to prevent CVDs. We confirmed the cost-effectiveness of PPI co-therapy with the respective incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) in each base case. In the sensitivity analyses, the PPI cost and adherence influenced the ICER the most. The quality of reporting, which was assessed using the Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards checklist, was 87-96%. In the present study, we found that PPI co-therapy was cost-effective and tended to improve the patient’s life years and quality-adjusted life years. These results can be used as evidence for further economic evaluation studies to verify the costeffectiveness of anticoagulants/antiplatelets and PPI co-therapy.
