불교는 능동적 종교인가 수동적 종교인가? 본 연구는 불교에 대한 본질주의적 접근을 피하고, 사회학적인 관점에서 불교 공동체들이 주어진 사회적 맥락 하에서 어떻게 사회와 관계맺음을 하고 있는지 구체적 사례를 통해 탐색하고자 한다. 특히 공동체의 재생산에 직결되는 청년 신자들의 문화를 이해하기 위해 서울 시내 3개 대학교 내 불교학생회들의 현황 조사와 성원들과의 인터뷰가 수행되었다. 사회의 축소판인 대학 내 경쟁적 종교환경 속에서 최근 대부분의 불교학생회들은 무기력을 겪고 있다. 그 원인과 동학을 이해하기 위해 본 연구는 기본적으로 종교시장이론의 개념틀을 사용하되, 그 한계를 보완하기 위해 인터뷰를 통해 불교학생회 성원들이 공유하고 있는 내러티브를 분석했다. 그 결과, 불교학생회들의 무기력의 중요한 원인으로 이들이 공유하고 있는 특유의 ‘불교는 강요하지 않는다’는 내러티브를 발견할 수 있었다. 이는 경쟁적인 대학교 종교환경 내에서 다른 종교에 대비되는 일종의 비교우위를 획득하면서 새로운 성원이 소수 유입되게 하는 긍정적 효과를 낳기도 한다. 그러나 불교 교리 중 한 측면만을 강조하여 일반화하는 이 내러티브는 성원들의 적극적인 상황 타개 노력을 조기에 좌절시키면서 궁극적으로 반복되는 무기력한 불교학생회 운영의 주원인이 되고 있다. Is the nature of Buddhism active or passive? Avoiding the essentialistic approach to Buddhism, from a sociological perspective, this study investigates how the Buddhist community interacts with society in a specific given context through the concrete case study. For this, the research of the current state of the organizations and the interview with the member was taken at three universities in Seoul area. These days, Buddhist student organizations are suffering the lethargy under the university’s religious environment which is considerable as a microcosm of the entire society. To understand this phenomenon, this study basically uses the conception of religious market theory, but for overcoming its limitations, the analysis of narrative shared among the members was taken. Consequently, the unique narrative of ‘Buddhists do not bother’, which is the main cause of the lethargy of Buddhist students was evaluated. This narrative might bring the positive effect which can attract a few newcomers into their gathering attaining some relative advantage in the university’s competitive religious environment. However, this narrative which is weighing and generalizing the skewed facet of Buddhism also frustrates the intention of active effort to improve the current situation in earliest stage, which eventually results in the repetitive lethargic management of organizations.

한국 종교의 전체 지형을 어떻게 종합적으로 읽을 수 있을까? 그동안 종교학자와 종교사회학자들은 한국의 종교지형을 개별종교 또는 특정 이슈를 대상으로 하여 연구해 왔으며, 이 과정에서 종교 다원주의, 종교 시장론, 정교 관계론, 시민 종교 등의 관점이 선택적으로 활용되어 왔다. 결과적으로 기존의 연구들은 “종교간 관계”와 “종교와 정치”, “종교 영역과 세속 영역간의 관계” 차원을 포괄하는 통합적인 연구를 해오지 못 했다. 본 연구는 한국의 종교지형을 담아내기 위한 학술적 시도들을다양한 담론의 형태로 정리하고, 보다 통합적인 연구를 위해 요구되는 이론적 관점과 방법론을 제기하고자 하였다. 한국의 종교지형에 관한 사회과학적 이론은 조화론에서 갈등론으로 이행해 왔다. 조화론은 한국인의 심성론에 기반한 종교다원주의론, 기능적 종교시장론을 이론적 관점으로 취하고 있으며, 갈등론은 비판적 종교시장론, 정치학적 관점에서의 정교관계론을 중심으로 한다. 최근에는 특별히 경제적 관점에서의 종교시장론과 정치적 관점에서의 정교관계론이 대립을 이루어왔다. 이에 본 논문은 이 두 영역을 통합하는 이론적 시도의 필요성을 주장한다. 나아가 점점 더 복잡해지고 복합적인 갈등이 발생하고 있는 ‘종교간 관계’ 와 ‘종교·세속 간의 관계’를 통합적으로 설명해 줄 되먹임(feed-back) 개념을 제안한다. 되먹임 개념을 활용하면 우리는 한국 종교지형을 정교갈등과 시장경쟁의 순환재생산 상황으로 규정할 수 있게 된다. How can we read the whole landscape of religions in Korea? Scholars in the field of religious studies have explored inter-religious relations mainly focusing on particular religious issues, putting the most emphasis on religious “hearts in harmony” or religious pluralism. Thus far, sociologists of religion have attempted to explain the religious landscape from a particular perspective, such as “religious pluralism,” “religious markets,” “the relationship between church and state,” “civil religion,” and so on. There have been few exploratory attempts to explain the overall religious ecology, including inter-religious relationships and the relationship between church and state. This study aims to categorize and explain previous social theories on Korea`s religious ecology and suggest a new theoretical perspective for integrative research on religious ecology in Korea. Sociological analyses of religious ecology in Korea have shifted from harmonious perspectives (e.g. heart-oriented common religiosity, functionalist views on religious markets) to conflicting ones (e.g. critical views on religious markets, political theories on the relationship between church and state). In particular, there have been theoretical separations between economic models and political models. Hence it is necessary to develop a “relational frame” to include both aspects of religious theories. Furthermore, we suggest the significance of “feedback” in the theoretical frame in order to develop integrative explanations for inter-religious relations and state-church relations in a complex and multiply conflicting society.

‘캐리’는 운전에 어려움을 느끼는 초보 운전자와 장롱면허자의 안전운전을 위해 고안된 어플리케이션이다. ‘캐리’ 어플과 차량용 인공지능 스피커를 통해서 보다 안전하고, 심리적으로 안정된 상황에서 운전을 할 수 있도록 돕는다. 또한, 본 기능을 공유-렌터카 업체와 연동함으로써, 교통사고 발생 빈도가 상대적으로 높은 초보 운전자들에게 합리적인 가격으로 운전 교습을 제공하고, 심리적 안정감을 증진시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 논문에서는 ‘캐리" 어플리케이션의 프로토타입을 디자인 하는 과정을 담았으며, 그 과정에서 이루어진 설문조사와 사용성 평가의 결과를 중심으로 기술하였다. 각 평가는 "캐리"가 사용자들의 니즈를 정화하게 충족시키고 있는지, 어플의 디자인이 사용자에게 직관적으로 이용되고 있는지에 대해서 알아보기 위해 진행되었다. 평가는 실제 주행 환경이 아닌 테이블 테스트로 진행되었으며, 현재는 모듈 완성 이후 테스트 차량을 통한 사용자 평가와 AI Agent Device 베타 버전 평가를 진행중이다.

본 논문은 해외 배송 화물에 대하여 실시간 위치와 정확한 도착 예정 시간을 제공하기 위하여 유가와 기상 정보 등 다양한 변수가 선박 항로에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 기존의 ETA 예측 방법은 GPS 정보와 수기 데이터를 기반으로 하여 낮은 정확도를 보였으나, 극복하기 위한 방안으로 기상상황 혹은 세계 유가 변동 변수까지 고려하여 인공지능 모델을 구축하였다. 선박의 도착 예측 시간 정확도 향상과 불확실성 해소를 주된 목표로 하며 이를 토대로 육·해상 통합 서비스를 개발하고자 한다. 이러한 예측 정보는 선사가 운영을 최적화하고 비용을 절감하는 데 도움을 주며, 소비자들은 신뢰할 수 있는 정보를 통해 불편과 손실을 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

중랑천에 서식하는 수조류와 하천에 설치된 모래톱, 거석수제의 필요성

본 연구는 중랑천에 서식하는 수조류의 개체수를 파악하고 자연적으로 생기거나 인공적으로 만들어진 모래톱과 거석수제가 중랑천에 서식하고 있는 수조류에게 어떠한 도움을 주는지 알아보는 목적으로 수행되었다. 노원교(37°40’44”N, 127°03’02”E)부터 상계교(37°39’43”N, 127°03’04”E)까지, 상계교(37°39’42”N, 127°03’03”)부터 녹천교(37°38’45”N, 127°03’18”E)까지 하나의 조사 구역을 두 구역으로 나눈 뒤 총 3차례에 걸쳐, 구역 내에 서식하는 수조류와 관찰 당시 수조류의 위치, 행동 등을 조사하였다. 본 연구 결과, 대부분의 수조류가 모래톱과 거석수제에서 먹이 활동을 하거나 숙면을 취하고 있는 모습이 확인되었다. 따라서 수조류에게 있어 하천의 모래톱과 거석수제는 필수적인 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study was to identify the population of water birds living in Jungnangcheon Stream and to find out how naturally formed or artificially created sandbars and giant stones help water birds living in Jungnangcheon Stream. A total of three survey areas were investigated, divided into two areas, from Nowon Bridge (37°4044N, 127°0302E) to Sanggye Bridge (37°3943N, 127°0304E) to Nokcheon Bridge (37°3845N, 127°0318E). As a result of this study, it was confirmed that most water birds were feeding or sleeping well on sandbars and megaliths. Therefore, sandbars and megaliths of rivers are considered essential for water birds.
