1. Objectives The purpose of this case report is to evaluate the effects of Sasang Constitutional diagnosis and treatment of two patients who were diagnosed as Taeumin Dry-Heat Syndrome. 2. Methods Two numbness patients were diagnosed as Taeumin Dry-Heat Syndrome based on their Nature & Emotion, physical characteristics and symptoms. 3. Results and Conclusions Two numbness patients who were treated with Chungsimyonja-tang showed improvement in numbness. The necessity of managing the psychological aspects of the pathology through Nature and Emotion is also mentioned.

The effects of the conditions of the collector formation on electrical characteristics of the packaged SiGe hetero-junction bipolar transistors (HBT) were investigated. While the DC characteristics of SiGe HBTs such as IV characteristic, forward current gain, Early voltage, and breakdown voltage were hardly changed after packaging, the AC characteristics such as $f_{\tau}\; and\; f_{max}$ were degraded severely. With the rise of the collector concentration, the break-down voltage decreased but the $f_{\tau}$ increased. Additionally, $\beta$ and $f_{\tau}$ values were kept high in the range of elevated collector current due to the increase of the critical current density for the onset of the Kirk effect. The devices As implanted before the collector deposition showed lower breakdown voltage and higher $f_{\tau}$ than the others, which seems to be originated from the As up-diffusion resulting in the thinner collector.

1. Objective Primary aldosteronism is clinically characterized by hypertension and hypokalemia. The purpose of this article is to report our case about a female patient with suspected primary aldosteronism. 2. Methods We diagnosed her as Soyangin Heat Sensation in chest and treated with Yangkyuksanhwa-rang and Hyungbangjihwang-tang. And potassium replacement therapy was applied to correct hypokalemia. 3. Results and Conclusions In this case, through Herb-medication, most symptoms were improved except dry mouth, Bur hypokalemia was not corrected, and primary aldosteronism was suspected on the basis of the blood results and symptoms.

실리콘(Si)에 비해 상대적으로 밴드 갭이 작고, 열전도도가 낮으며, 기존의 Si 반도체 공정 기술과 호환이 가능한 실리콘-게르마늄(SiGe) 합금은 트랜지스터, 광수신 소자, 태양전지, 열전 소자 등 다양한 전자 소자에서 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SiGe 합금이 전자소자에 응용되는 원리 및 응용과 관련된 기술적인 논제들을 고찰한다. Si에 비해 밴드 갭이 작은 게르마늄(Ge)이 그 구성 원소인 SiGe 합금의 밴드 갭은 Si과 Ge의 분률과 상관없이 항상 Si의 밴드 갭 보다 작다. 이러한 SiGe의 작은 밴드 갭은 전류 이득의 손실 없이 베이스 두께를 감소시키는 것을 가능하게 하여 바이폴라 트랜지스터의 동작속도를 향상시킨다. 또한, Si이 흡수하지 못하는 장파장 대의 빛을 SiGe이 흡수하여 광전류를 생성하게 함으로써 태양전지의 변환효율을 증가시킨다. 질량이 서로 다른 Si 및 Ge 원소의 불규칙적인 분포에 의해 발생하는 포논 산란 효과 때문에 SiGe 합금은 순수한 Si 및 Ge과 비교할 때 낮은 열전도도를 갖는다. 낮은 열전도도 특성의 SiGe 합금은 전자 소자 구조 내에서의 열 손실을 억제하는데 효과가 있으므로 Si 반도체 공정 기반의 열전 소자의 구성 물질로서 활용이 기대된다. The silicon-germanium (SiGe) alloy, which is compatible with silicon semiconductor technology and has a smaller band gap and a lower thermal conductivity than silicon, has been used to fabricate electronic devices such as transistors, photodetectors, solar cells, and thermoelectric devices. This paper reviews the application of SiGe alloys to electronic devices and related technical issues. Since the SiGe alloy comprises germanium whose band gap is smaller than silicon, its band gap is also smaller than that of silicon irrespective of the ratio of silicon to germanium. This narrow band gap of SiGe enables the base thickness of bipolar transistors to decrease without a loss in current gain so that it is possible to improve the speed of bipolar transistors by adopting the SiGe-base. In addition, the conversion efficiency of solar cells is enhanced by the absorption of long-wavelength light in the SiGe absorption layer. Phonon scattering caused by the irregular distribution of alloying elements induces the lower thermal conductivity of SiGe than those of pure silicon and germanium. Because a thin film layer with a low thermal conductivity suppresses thermal conduction through a thermal sink, the SiGe alloy is considered to be a promising material for silicon-based thermoelectric systems.

1989년에 월드와이드웹(WWW)이 처음 만들어진 이후로 웹 기술은 인터넷 발전의 중추적인 역할을 해오고 있으며, 1998년에 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)기술이 개발되면서 이를 기반으로 웹서비스(Web Services), 시맨틱 웹, 유비쿼터스 웹 기술 등 다양한 차세대 웹 기술 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 이제 웹 기술은 기존 컴퓨팅 환경을 넘어서 다양한 단말 환경에서의 유비쿼터스 응용 표준으로 발전되고 있으며, 최근 들어 웹 2.0이 등장하면서 사용자 중심의 컴퓨팅 환경으로의 발전과 더불어 새로운 가치 창조 방식을 창출하면서 웹은 제2의 중흥기를 맞이하고 있다. 그리고이러한 차세대 웹 기술은 다양한 네트워크와 단말 서비스를 자연스럽게 융 · 통합시킬 수 있는 소프트웨어의 중요한 인프라 기술로서 그 중요성이 어느 때 보다 강조되고 있다고 할 수 있다.

1. Background and purpose: The purpose of this study is to find the characteristic of "Donguisasangshinpyun" through comparison and analysis of "Donguisusebowon" and "Donguisasangshinpyun". 2. Methods: First we compare the composition of Sasang prescription with the same name in "Sinchukbon" and "Gabobon" to the composition of Sasang prescription in "Donguisasangshinpyun" "Donguisasangshinpyunchebang"(東醫四象新編劑方). And we compare the difference of "Donguisusebowon" and "Donguisasangshinpyunchebang" about symptom of Sasang prescription. The third is to find the utilization of Sasang prescription in "Donguisasangshinpyun" "Donguisasangyongyakhuebun"(東醫四象用藥彙分). 3. Results and Conclusions: 1) There are some Sasang prescriptions with the same name in "Donguisasangshinpyunchebang", "Sinchukbon" and "Gabobon". The composition of Sasang prescription in "Donguisasangshinpyun" is based on "Sinchukbon" better than "Gabobon". 2) The symptom of Sasang prescription in "Donguisasangshinpyunchebang" are more various than the symptoms in "Donguisusebowon". We find new symptom of Sasang prescription in "Donguisasangshinpyun" that does not exist in "Donguisusebowon". 3) The Sasang prescription of "Sinchukbon" is utilized much more than the Sasang prescription of "Gabobon" in "Donguisasangyongyakhuebun".
