The purpose of education of propositional logic is to understand the basic structure of the mathematics and to improve the logical thinking in normal life. But in the seventh curriculum, some basic terms, for examples $\wedge$ and $\vee$, are not introduced, the proposition $p{\\rightarrow}q$ is not defined properly, and use the wrong term $\Rightarrow$ so that it is difficult to understand the propositional logic. In this paper, we present a suitable content for the propositional logic in high-school mathematical class. We also present a proper definition of the proposition $p{x}{\Rightarrow}q{x}$ without using the notation $\rightarrow$. We finally give proper definitions of necessary conditions, sufficient conditions, and necessary and sufficient conditions.

There is a serious public interest about and demand for highly improved barracks culture. Personality education is surely to be one of the core prescriptions to improve barracks culture. The military should make servicemen feel proud of themselves in their uniforms and induce them to have self-respect as a member of a wider society. This should be done through education that teaches them to have faith in absolute victory and personality education whereby they can learn the value of human dignity and of the community. The purpose of this research is to contribute to improving barracks culture by reflecting on the military`s stage of personality education and foreign military`s programs. There are some implications of policies derived from the research results. First of all, personality education in the military must be conducted throughout the whole military life consistently, especially for entry-level officers and recruits. Second, personality education in the military is should not merely focus on helping the servicemen to their military service, but should take a more active approach, helping them to attain their identity as servicemen and temperaments for the democratic citizens. Third, personality education in the military must be comprehensive and serve multiple purposes in connection with spiritual education and military training and operations. Fourth, personality education in the military needs programs related with multicultural military service policies by referring to me cases of foreign militaries. Finally, in order to develop personality education, the military must operate specialized offices, R&D institutions and education institutions and also nurture capable professors.

Although many factors associated with difficult intubation have been known, predictors of difficult mask ventilation are not well known. We experienced a case of nearly complete airway obstruction following usual anesthetic induction which needed various emergency treatments. The patient had a preoperative diagnosis of contact granuloma of right posterior vocal cord and bilateral vocal cord palsy but later was found out as invasive laryngeal cancer. Upon the surgical field of view, both vocal cords were showing significantly thickened and fixated appearance and was considered as in the critical narrowing state with the potential of complete obstruction. Using $C-MAC^{(R)}$ video laryngoscope we were able to see the narrowed vocal cord and choose proper size of endo-tracheal tube. Consequently, intubation was successfully done and operation was conducted. From this case, we have lessons that physicians should examine the patient's airway more carefully in case of laryngeal mass and prepare emergency measures.

국립대 교원의 급여 수준은 관련 법령이 규정하고 있는 적절한 수준에 미치지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 이를 실증적으로 확인하고 바람직한 정책 대안을 제시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.국립대 교원의 연봉은 상당 직급의 일반직 공무원보다 연평균 약 2천만원이 작으며 그 원인은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반직 공무원은 승진 시 보다 높은 직급의 호봉 체계를 따름에 따라 호봉 승급액이 증가하지만 국립대 교원은 단일 호봉 체계로서 호봉 승급액이 재직기간 동안 일정하다. 둘째, 국립대교원의 상당 직급인 5급 이상 공무원의 성과연봉 기준액은 국립대 교원보다 약 2~3백만원 많다. 따라서 이에 성과연봉 지급율을 곱한 금액만큼 성과연봉의 차이가 확대된다. 셋째, 일반직 공무원은 국립대 교원에게 없는 직급보조비와 관리업무수당을 추가로 지급받는다. 구체적으로 직급보조비는 모든 일반직 공무원에게 직급에 따라 차등 지급되며 4급 이상 공무원은 자신의 본봉에 준하여 관리업무수당을 추가로 지급받는다. 넷째, 전술한 법정 급여의 차이는 연금의 차이를 유발한다. 전술한 결과로부터 현행 국립대 교원의 법정 급여 수준은 관련 법령과 지침이 정하는 수준에 미치지 못함을 알 수있다. 이로부터 급여 항목별 차이를 보전하기 위한 정책적 대안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본봉 및 관련 수당의 차이는 현행 성과급적 연봉제 하에서 기본연봉의 인상을 통해 보전한다. 둘째, 직급수당과 관리업무수당의 차이는 교육공무원법상 대통령령으로 지급하도록 규정하고 있는 교직수당과 연구수당의 지급을 통해 보전한다. 셋째, 성과연봉의 차이는 현행 성과급적 연봉제 하에서 베타 금액의 증가를 통해 보전한다. 마지막으로 전술한 법정 급여의 차이 보전은 일반직 공무원과의 연금 격차를 상당 부분 해소한다. The average salary of national university teacher is far below the level prescribed by the remuneration guideline for public servants. We demonstrated this hypothesis in terms of life-time income. The main results are as follows. The average annual salary of national university teacher is less than that of general civil servant with his equivalent rank. The reason is summarized as follows. First, the basic salary of general civil servant increases with his promotion as well as public service period. On the other hand, the salary of national university teacher increases with only his public service period. Second, the performance salary baseline of equivalent public officer is bigger than that of national university teacher by 2~3 million won. Third, general civil servant receives allowances additionally. Specifically, general civil servants are paid rank allowances. Also, senior civil servants above rank 4 are paid management allowances. Fourth, the gap of statutory salaries causes the difference of pension. These results show that the average salary level of national university teacher is below the level prescribed by laws and guideline. Therefore, we suggest policy alternatives to resolve these gaps. First, gaps of basic salary and performance based salary should be resolved by increasing their base amounts. Second, gaps of allowances should be resolved by paying teaching allowance and research allowance that are the statutory allowance for public institute teachers. Third, the elimination of the above statutory salary gaps naturally resolves the pension gap between general civil servants and national university teachers.
