The aim of this study was focussed to having the coming generations of our conceive how severe cruelty and segregation our ancestors had undergone, while inspiring national self-reliance to the second generation that is getting unconcious of its past to have them possess right view on Japan. Based on the record of Korean or Japanese on cruelty and segregation of Japanese toward Korean People, the author could describe the detailed topics as follows ; (1) The illegal arrest and indiscriminate slaughter of Korean people. (2) The testimony from some of Japanese on actual instances of cruelty imposed on Korean people. (3) The true story of slaughters on Korean people right after the Kwandong(Tokyo) Earth-quake. (4) The aggressive colonial of imperial Japanese regime on Korean people.

The modernism of Lee Sang was not originated from Lee Sang himself. In the middle of 1920's, the new trends of art movement such as Dadaism were introduced, and in 1926, Jeong, Ji Yong tried it. But such practices of modernism before Lee Sang Were fragmentary ones, and it was only by Lee Sang that the fullscale movement of poetry of modernity blossomed, and the importance of it is recognised. Kim, Ki Lim evaluated Lee Sang as "the last and the best modernist." At least when talking about the continental modernism, not British-American one such as Imagism and Intellectualism, Lee Sang should be called the first and most important modernist. Perhaps in the history of Korean literature, Lee Sang's poetry being influenced by continental Europe should be raised together with the modernism seen among Kim, Kwang Kyun, Jeong, Ji Yong and Kim, Ki Lim showing the British-American influence. The modernism of Lee Sang did not finish only in one generation, but it was connected to the modernism of the following generation, Cho Hyang and Kim, Chun Soo. The methods of Cho Hyang's Surrealistic poetry and Kim, Chun Soo's nonsense poetry are connected to the modernisn of Lee Sang. The fact proves that the modernism of Lee Sang is still influencing the history of Korean literature.

In this study the author review and observed the mean of discontinuity of the modern poetics in the poetry. There has been many a various criticism on the mean of discontinuity in the modern poetics, since T.E. Hulme that of the humanity and actual existence. Here I propose a new direction of viewpoint in the aspect of structure, understand a Lee Sang's poem. To see what I have observed on the mean of discontinuity of the modern poetics in a Lee Sang's poem and analysis as follows; a) The mean of discontinuity between self-consciousness and one's outlook on the world, b) Discontinuity between self and self-consciousness, and C) that between words and its the target. Finally, I have suggest a new approaching methods to the subject of a poetry work though the study of structure and modern thought.
모더니즘詩의 抽象性 硏究 : 李箱詩를 中心으로 Mainly on Lee Sang's Poetry

Modernity can be argued about from the viewpoints of complexity, incomprehensibility, and metaphor, or from the viewpoints of inner life, selfconsciousness, and nihilism. But in this paper I attached the most importance to the elements of abstraction which form the foundation of Lee Sang's poetry, and define it as the main characteristics of his modernism. Though abstractionism is a general trend of the modern art, it is especially obvious in Lee Sang's poetry. Abstract character of Lee Sang's poetry can be found in its dehumanization tendency which tries to lessen or eliminate humanism or the elements of humanity, personality, and life. Also it can be found in the tendency to reshape in space all the images or the objects, especially into direction, square measure, quantitative shape, or geometrical shape, and time reshaped into space. Their study examined by showing the concrete examples the tendency to dehumanize and tendency to reshape into space.
우리나라 모더니즘과 西區 모더니즘과의 關聯性 硏究 : 李箱詩를 中心으로 Mainly on Lee Sang's Poetry

The fact that modernism of Lee Sang's poetry could not achieve the world or value, means that his attempt to overcome his desparation towards the world and reality could not achieve the historical turning point. The downwards writing, different sizes of letters, introduction of numbers and mathematical equation and geometrical charts, and his style of expression give, in a sense, the impression of word-playing or irony. But, even though this kind of divertissement of life can be found in his work, it cannot be taken as total deception of himself, but instead can be seen as revelation of tragic situation of life. In this paper, I examined the relationship between the poetry of Lee Sang and the modernism of early 20th century Europe such as expressionism, futurism, cubism, dadaism, and surrealism. Depending on the viewpoints, Lee Sang's poetry can be viewed as dadaism or surrealism. In the study room, actually I pointed out difference between these two viewpoints. But in this paper, I didn't define Lee Sang's poetry either as dadaism or surrealism. But instead I pointed out substantially its relationships with the diverse forms of 20th century modernism like expressionism, futurism, cubism, dadaism, and surrealism, and defined it as influenced by the modernism as whole. Because, examined from the different viewpoints of modernism, Lee Sang's poetry is found to be related with and influenced by all of them. Also, each of expressionism, futurism, cubism, dadaism, and surrealism is not isolated art movement by itself, but closely related with each other.
우리나라 大學에서 實施되고 있는 日本語敎育에 對한 認識度의 調査硏究

Now that the Japanese language has been taught at the Korean universities for more that 20 years, it is considered that we have come to the stage we have to make evaluation on the results of conducts. In this point of view, the writer has ventured to carry out an investigation on recognition level of Japanese language learning at the universities in Korea and made comparative study of the recognition level among the various age groups, between the Japanese major and the non-Japanese major, and between the university students and the existing generation to find out the following results ; 1.Among the various age groups, the recognition level of Japanese language learning was remarkably lower as the age grows higher. 2.Between the Japanese major and the non-Japanese major, the recognition level of Japanese language learning showed outstanding differences. 3.Between the university students and the existing generation, the recognition level of Japanese language learning of the university students was distinctively higher than that of the existing generation. As a result, the Japanese language learning at the universities well prospects a promising future in our country.
