        침출수처리에 있어서 막분리법의 적용가능성

        Landfill leachates contained high concentration of COD(chemical oxygen demand), BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), nitrogen compounds and inorganic salts. It is very difficult to treat those recalcitrant substances by using conventional biological treatment. ASMF consists of activated sludge process and microfiltration membrane. This membrane with a pore size of 0.1 ㎛ is immersed in a biological reactor and separated sludge from treated water by suction filtration. Low pressure and MLSS(mixed liquid suspended solid) concentration of 10,000 to 20,000㎎/L could kept for stable permeate flux of 140L/㎡·day and prevented from membrane fouling without chemical cleaning during 140 days. An intermittent aeration and suction filtration mode(aeration and suction filtration phase ; 30 minutes, anoxic phase; 60 minutes) had an good effect on high COD_(cr) removal of 93 percents. But, this operation mode showed low TN(total nitrogen) removal of 35 percents.

        부패조와 토양트렌치 공법에 의한 소규모지역의 하수처리적용방안

        Treatment of domestic wastewater using septic tank combined with soil trench process can be a cost effective alternative in rural areas. Technology for such small on site wastewater treatment plants will contribute to significant environmental protection as long as people live in rural areas. The modified septic tank which consisted of septic tank and anaerobic filter (rice hulls and sawdust media) had efficiencies for a preapplication process of soil subsurface system. The soil column test showed that the soil depth required for 90 percent removal efficiencies of pollutants would be over 50㎝. Domestic wastewater having six months of mean COD coccentration of 450-550 ㎎/L, NH₄^+-N of 45-70 ㎎/L and PO₄^(3-)-P of 5-10 ㎎/L. The average removal of organics and nutrients in soil permeating water based on the original wastewater were purified this process at the rate of 90% removal of COD, 60% removal of NH₄^+-N and 80% removal of PO₄^(3-)-P.

        전기투석법을 이용한 침출수처리

        A high concentration of inorganic substances of calcium, sodium and chloride are contained in leachate from solid waste landfill. That causes various problems of corrosion or scaling of inside and outside treatment facilities. It is seldom removed that conventional leachate treatment system with biological, coagulation, sand filtration and activated carbon adsorption process. Therefore, we studied the removal of high concentration of inorganic substances by electrodialysis process. An effective membrane surface area was 1.72dm²× pairs. And desalination time was 60min. with 1.5ampere and 15volts. As the results, stable desalination was achieved above 95percent up to 3,000㎎/L as calcium, 3,000㎎/L as sodium and 10,000㎎/L as chloride respectively. And also flux was in constant values and increased with the increasing in the concentration of inorganic substances. Removal efficiency of NH₄^+-N was 80percent in leachate.
