함침농도와 CO2 가스 유입농도에 따른 활성탄의 흡착특성

The adsorption characteristics of CO2 gas on impregnated activated carbons with MEA (Mono-ethanolamine) and AMP (2-Amino 2-methyl 1-propanol) were studied to improve the adsorption ability of CO2 gas on activated carbon. The equilibrium adsorption capacity of CO2 gas was increased by increment of impregnation concentration up to 40 %, but decreased above 50 %. The adsorption capacity of activated carbon impregnated with AMP was higher than activated carbon impregnated with MEA. The breakthrough was fast according to increment of inlet concentration of CO2 gas.
활성탄/폴리우레탄 복합 담체를 충전한 Biofilter에서 기상 Toluene의 제거

활성탄/폴리우레탄 복합담체를 충전한 바이오필터를 사용하여 기상톨루엔의 처리 실험을 약 120일간 수행하였다. 미생물 균주는 Bacillus sp.를 사용하였다. 톨루엔의 유입 농도 및 공탑접촉시간(EBCT)과 같은 운전인자가 제거효율에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 120일 동안 운전 중 바이오필터 컬럼내의 압력손실과 pH의 변화 등을 살펴보았다. 또한, 유입되는 톨루엔 가스, nutrient 및 톨루엔 가스와 nutrient가 동시에 12 h 간격으로 공급/중단되는 경우에 바이오필터의 제거능을 조사하였다. The treatment of toluene vapor was carried out using the biofilter packed with activated carbon/polyurethane composite during 120 days. Bacillus sp. was used as a toluene oxidizer. The effects fo operating conditions such as the influent toluene concentration and the empty bed contact time (EBCT) on the removal efficiency of toluene were investigated. During 1% days operation the pressure drop through the biofilter column and the pH change in the drains water were observed. When toluene vapor, nutricnt, and both toluene vapor and nutrient were supplied and stopped at 12 h interval, the performance of the biofilter was also studied.
Biosorption in the Mixed Heavy Metal Solution by Biosorbents of Marine Brown Algae

N/A The biomass of nonliving, dried marine brown algae U. pinnatifida, H. fusiforme, and S. fulvelum harvested in the sea near Cheju, were studied for their sorption performance and selectivity of copper, zinc, lead, and chromium. The metal uptakes by biosorbent materials increased with increasing pH in the range of Ci 10-500㎎/L. The metal uptakes by biosorbent materials decreased in the following sequence: Pb>Cr>Cu>Zn. Among the biosorbent materials the decreasing order was as follows: U. pinnatifida≥H. fusiforme>S. fulvelum for copper and zinc; U. pinnatifida>H. fusiforme>S fulvelum for lead and chromium. The metal uptakes(except for lead) by biosorbent materials in the mixed solution, decreased greatly in comparison to those in the single solution.
