원주 칼국수 및 만두의 향토 음식 육성에 대한 소비자 의향 분석

The purpose of this study was to analyze the consumer intentions on promote kalguksu (noodle soup) and dumplings as Wonju local food. The online survey was conducted for 527 Adults over 20 years old, and the all data were used for analysis. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program, and chi-care test, t-test, and frequency analysis were performed. The research results were as follows. The preferences of kalguksu (p<0.01) and dumplings (p<0.001) showed significant differences according to the region of residence and age. Kalguksu and dumplings were mainly eaten for lunch by visiting restaurants. Residents of other regions evaluated peach bulgogi (p<0.01), mulberry leaf rice (p<0.001), and jangkalguksu (noodle soup with sauces) (p<0.01) as local foods in Wonju more likely than residents of Wonju. The opinion prevailed that respondents were willing to purchase the possibility of developing kalguksu, dumplings, and kalmandu (3.53), foster professional restaurants (3.49), and inherit and develop them as representative foods in Wonju (3.41).

We investigated whether three flavonoids including daidzein, baicalein, hesperidin and ursolic acid, a triterpene acid, affect proliferation of MCF-7 human breast cancer cells stimulated by estrogenic compounds. Ursolic acid and baicalein inhibited proliferation of MCF-7 cells induced by PhIP, a food-derived carcinogen with estrogenic activity. Daidzein and hesperidin inhibited estradiol-induced proliferation of MCF-7 cells. These compounds should be further investigated for the possible involvement in signaling pathway after estrogen receptor binding in breast cancer cells.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of a short walk putting on Coolfin shoes on the foot temperature rise and blood circulation. Methods: Twenty healthy adults participated in experiments in this study. All subjects walked respectively barefoot and putting on Coolfin shoes. Infrared imaging cameras were used to collect and analyze the data on the foot temperature. Results: As a result of this study, there were significant differences between the temperatures of the great toe and top of the foot after 20-minute walks with bare feet and in Coolfin shoes. Both the temperatures of the great toe and top of the foot decreased after a 20-minute walk in the barefoot condition, and there was a significant difference between them (p<0.05). Both the temperatures of the great toe and top of the foot increased after a 20-minute walk in the condition of putting on Coolfin shoes, and there was a significant difference between them(p<0.05). Conclusion: A short walk putting on Coolfin products induces the movement of the toes to increase the blood flow and accordingly, has a direct impact on the increase of the surface temperature of the feet, so they are effective products for helping blood circulation in the feet.

Chondrocytes lose their inherent characteristics and shift to fibroblast-like cells on monolayer culture in vitro. Dedifferentiated chondrocytes undergo dramatic phenotypic changes which bring the rearrangement of cytoskeleton and focal adhesion. Cell motility is a harmonized procedure that involves in the changes of cytoskeleton structure and the formation and disassembly of focal adhesion. In this study, we investigate the motile characteristics of the cells with shear stress during dedifferentiation. Dedifferentiated chondrocytes cultured on monolayer have a tendency to move along the direction of shear stress and in proportion to shear strength.
