        광 기록 시스템을 위한 멀티모드 변조 코드의 DC-억압 코드 선택 방법

        Multi-mode coding method is a reliable DC-suppression method. There are two ways to improve the DC-suppression performance. One is improving scrambler's performance, and the other is improving selection criteria. The latter uses the MRDS(minimum running digital sum) criterion. It is easy to calculate, but its performance goes down when the length of codeword is getting longer. The MSW(mean squared weight) criterion that is known as the best so far regardless of the length of codeword has the high complexity. In this paper, we present the new selection criteria, MPRDS(minimum peak RDS) and A BSRDS(absolute RDS). Their performance are close to the MSW, implementation is simple. And also we present the SC(sign change) that has a subsidiary role with the original selection criteria and improve the capacity. 신뢰할 수 있는 DC-억압(DC-suppression) 방법으로 멀티모드 코딩 방법이 있다. 멀티모드 코드의 DC-억압 성능을 향상시키는 방법에는 스크램블러(scrambler)의 성능을 개선하는 방법과 후보 코드워드의 선택 기준(selection criteria)을 개선하는 방법이 있다. 후보 코드워드의 선택 기준으로 흔히 사용되는 MRDS(minimum running digital sum) 기준은 계산 및 구현이 쉬운 반면에 후보 코드워드의 길이가 길어질수록 성능이 저하되는 단점이 있다. 코드 워드 길이에 무관하게 최고의 성능을 갖는 MSW(mean squared weight) 기준은 구현상의 복잡도가 높다는 단점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이론상으로 가장 효율이 우수한 MSW의 성능에 근접하면서, 하드웨어 구현이 용이한 MPR DS(minimum peak RDS)와 ABSRDS(absolut RDS)라는 새로운 선택 기준을 제시하였고, 기존의 선택 기준과 함께 사용 시 보조적인 역할을 하여 성능 향상을 도모할 수 있는 SC(sign change) 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

        원격탐사활용을 위한 딥러닝기술

        Recently, deep learning has become more important in remote sensing data processing. Huge amounts of data for artificial intelligence (AI) has been designed and built to develop new technologies for remote sensing, and AI models have been learned by the AI training dataset. Artificial intelligence models have developed rapidly, and model accuracy is increasing accordingly. However, there are variations in the model accuracy depending on the person who trains the AI model. Eventually, experts who can train AI models well are required more and more. Moreover, the deep learning technique enables us to automate methods for remote sensing applications. Methods having the performance of less than about 60% in the past are now over 90% and entering about 100%. In this special issue, thirteen papers on how deep learning techniques are used for remote sensing applications will be introduced.

        고강도 용착금속의 미세조직이 저온균열에 미치는 영향

        In the past, cold crack was commonly observed in the HAZ(heat affected zone) of high-strength steels. Applying to TMCP(thermo-mechanical controlled process) and HSLA(high strength low alloy) steels, cold crack tends to increase the occurrence in the weld metal. It is generally understood that cold crack occurs when the following factors are present simultaneously : diffusible hydrogen in the weld metal, a susceptible microstructure and residual stress. In particular, many studies investigated the microstructural effect on the cold crack in HAZ and the cold crack in weld metals starts to receive the special attendance in modern times. The purpose of the study is to review the effect of weld microstructures (grain boundary ferrite, Widm$\ddot{a}$nstatten ferrite, acicular ferrite, bainite and martensite) on cold crack in the weld metals. Among various microstructures of weld metals, acicular ferrite produced the greatest resistance to the cold crack due to the fine interlocking nature and high-angle grain boundary of the microstructure.

        계층분석법(AHP)과 GIS를 이용한 고양시 일대의 지하수오염 관리우선순위 평가

        In this study, priority for groundwater contamination management was assessed based on regional vulnerability in Goyang-si area, Gyonggi-do, Korea using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and geographic information system (GIS). We proposed a concept for regional vulnerability to groundwater contamination with using socio-environmental vulnerability factors, which can be classified into three properties including regional hydrogeological property, contamination property, and groundwater use property. This concept is applied to Goyang-si area. For AHP analysis, an expertise-targeted survey was conducted. Based on the survey, a total of 10 factors (criteria) and corresponding weights for regional vulnerability assessment were determined. The result shows that regional contamination property is the most weighted factor among the three property groups (hydrogeological property: contamination property: groundwater use property = 0.3: 0.4: 0.3). Then, database layers for those factors were constructed, and regional vulnerability to groundwater contamination was assessed by weighted superposition using GIS. Results show that estimated regional vulnerability score is ranged from 22.7 to 94.5. Central and western areas of Goyang-si which have groundwater tables at shallow depths and are mainly occupied by industrial and residential areas are estimated to be relatively highly vulnerable to groundwater contamination. Based on assessed regional vulnerability, we classified areas into 4 categories. Category 1 areas, which are ranked at the top 25% of vulnerability score, take about 2.8% area in Goyang-si and give a high priority for groundwater contamination management. The results can provide useful information when the groundwater management authority decide which areas should be inspected with a high priority for efficient contamination management.

      • 멀티 에이전트 시스템에서 협상하는 논리 에이전트에 관한 연구

        멀티 에이전트 시스템(Multi-Agent Systems: MAS)에서 에이전트들이 서로 협상하기 위해서 에이전트들은 공통의 에이전트 통신 언어(Agent Communication Language: ACL)를 사용하여야 하며, 일치에 도달할 수 있도록 설계된 협상 프로토콜을 따라야 한다. 그러므로 에이전트는 위의 요구사항들을 수용할 수 있는 적당한 구조를 가져야 한다. 이 논문에서는 예제에 사용되는 간단한 ACL을 정의하고, 이것과 다른 ACL들(FIPA(Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents) ACL, KQML(Knowledge Query Manipulation Language))을 간단히 비교한다. 특히, 에이전트를 ALE음 ,소망, 의도, 그리고 협상 라이브러리로 구성된 논리 프로그램으로 표현한다. 마지막으로, 협상 라이브러리에 포함된 계획자(planner)가 행위들의 계획을 어떻게 제공하는가 그리고 ALE음을 어떻게 갱신하는가를 보인다. Agents in Mlulti-Agent Systems (MAS) should make use of a common Agent Communication Language (ACL) in order to negotiate with others, and conform to negotiation protocols that are designed to reach agreements. Therefore, agents must have suitable architectures that could cover above requirements. In this paper, we define an instructive ACL and compare it with other ACLs such as Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents(FIPA) ACL and Knowledge Query Manipulation Language (KQML). In particular, we represent agents as logic programs with beliefs, desires, intentions and negotiation library. Finally, we show how the planner, which is in the negotiation library, provides plans of actions and updates agent's beliefs.
