Purpose: To investigate the change of retinal volume according to anterior segment refractive power using contact lens by spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). Methods: The retinal volume was measured using a SD-OCT (Heidelberg retinal angiography Spectralis + OCT, Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany) in 60 subjects without any underlying disease. The same examiner performed a 31-section macular volume-scan at 240 μm intervals, re-measured the same area by changing the refractive power of the anterior segment by wearing soft contact lenses of +6.0 diopters and -6.0 diopters. By using the ImageJ software to calculate the cross-sectional area and of the cross-sectional area and the volume was measured. Results: The mean age of the participants was 25.6 ± 1.5 years and the mean axial length was 25.7 ± 1.57 mm. The volume of the posterior pole retina measured without the contact lens was 13.48 ± 0.05 and the mean volume of the retina measured with+6.0 diopter and -6.0 diopter contact lens in the same patient was 13.47 ± 0.07 mm3 and 13.48 ± 0.05 respectively. The mean volume was significantly lower(p = 0.036) in the measurement with the +6.0 diopter lens than in the measurement without the lens, and the mean volume was significantly higher in the measurement with the +6.0 diopter lens (p = 0.042). The change in retinal thickness was increased with longer axial length (r = 0.32, p < 0.05), but the central foveal thickness did not correlate with anterior corneal power (p = 0.463). Conclusions: The volume of the retina measured using the SD-OCT is affected by the refractive power of the anterior segment and the axial length. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the change of refractive index because it can change the retinal volume measured by SD-OCT.

본 연구의 목적은 북한이탈여성의 탈북 이전의 삶, 중국 등 제3국에서의 탈북과정, 한국 정착과정에서의 어려움을 조사함으로써, 북한이탈여성의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 함의를 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 북한이탈여성 5명을 대상으로 심층면담을 수행하고 사례분석을 진행하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 탈북 이전 북한에서의 삶의 경험은 ‘굶주림과 빈곤의 대물림’, ‘사별과 이산가족’, ‘강제수용소 생활’의 세 가지 차원으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 참여자들이 탈북 후 중국을 경유하는 과정에서 인신매매, 매매혼, 성폭력 등 위험에 쉽게 노출되었다. 셋째, 연구에 참여한 북한이탈여성들의 한국 정착 후 삶의 경험은 ‘북한이탈주민에 대한 사회적 편견 및 차별과 싸우고 경제적 어려움을 극복하고 가족과의 단절을 경험하는 과정’으로 요약할 수 있다. 넷째, 심층인터뷰 내용에 대한 범주화 분석을 토대로 공통으로 도출된 주제는 ‘탈북은 가족의 굶주림 해결을 위한 유일한 방법’, ‘인간의 기본권과 맞바꾼 탈북과정’, ‘한국 사회 적응은 현재진행형’의 3가지로 요약되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 북한이탈여성의 한국 정착 후 삶의 질 향상을 위한 사회복지 제언을 논의하였다. This study explores the life experience in North Korea, the escape process in a third country and settlement experience in South Korea for North Korean refuge women. For this we interviewed five North Korean refugee women settled in South Korea recruited via purposeful sampling. For the qualitative case study, we collected data through in-depth individual interviews. Key findings are as follows. First, the experiences of North Korean refugee women symbolized as ‘starvation and poverty passed on to the next generation’, ‘bereavement and dispersed family’, ‘living on detention camp’. Second, interviewees passed through China during the defection process, and were exposed to diverse risks such as human trafficking, bride-buying, and sexual violence. Third, we can summarize the experiences of the North Korean refugee women interviewees as ‘the process of overcoming social prejudice and discrimination against North Koreans, economic hardships and family breakdown’. Next, we can deduce three main themes through thematic analysis as ‘the defection is the only way to solve hunger’, ‘buying escape from North Korea in exchange of basic human rights’, ‘a constant struggle adjusting to South Korea’. Implications for social work practice and policy follow based on the study findings.

According to the Space Development Promotion Basic Plan, more than 110 satellites are expected to be deployed by 2031. Accordingly, the operation concept and technology for satellites constellation are required, compared to the existing few multi-satellite operations. It is essential to automate and optimize the mission operation system, for efficient operation of the satellite constellation, and preparations are urgently needed for the operation of satellite constellation in domestic as well. In this study, the development direction and strategy of the mission operation system applying automation and optimization for efficient operation of the satellite constellation are proposed. The framework for evaluating the automation level and priority of the mission operation system was developed, to identify the tasks to which automation should be applied preferentially.

교사의 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음과 우울의 관계: 성차별지각과 성별의 조절된 매개효과

본 연구는 중등학교 교사의 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 성차별지각과 우울의 관계에서 성별의 조절된 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 전국 중등학교에 재직중인 남녀교사를 대상으로 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 우울, 성차별지각을 측정하였고, 412명 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성차별지각이 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음과 우울 간의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별이 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음과 성차별지각 간의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 정당한 세상에 대한 신념이 낮을수록 성차별지각의 수준이 높아졌는데 남성의 경우 그 관련성이 여성보다 강했다. 셋째, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음과 우울 간의 관계에서 성차별지각과 성별의 조절된 매개효과가 나타났다. 즉, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음이 낮을수록 성차별지각의 수준이 높아졌고 이로 인해 우울을 더 많이 경험하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 관계가 남성의 경우 더 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 제언을 논의하였다. This study examined the moderated mediation effect by gender in the relationship between the belief in a just world, perceived sex discrimination and depression of teachers. For this purpose, we surveyed belief in a just world, perceived sex discrimination, depression and gender of the 412 teachers working in secondary schools and the result was analyzed. The results indicated that perceived sex discrimination partially mediated the relationship between belief in a just world and depression. Second, gender had moderation effect on belief in a just world and perceived sex discrimination. The lower the belief in a just world, the higher the level of perceived sex discrimination. In the case of men, the tendency was stronger than that of women. Third, the moderated meditation effect of perceived sex discrimination and gender on the relationship between belief in a just world and depression. In other words, the lower the belief in a just world, the higher the level of perceived sex discrimination, which could lead to more experience of depression, and this pattern was more pronounced in men. Finally, implications and limitations of this study as well as the suggestions for the future study were discussed.
