Purpose : This study examines the mediating effects of self-directed learning among the influence of career value and career planning on academic achievement and career adaptability of the cadets from Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy. Methods : The subjects of this study are 321 students of all grades attending Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy. The collected data is analyzed by SPSS win 20.0 program. Results: First, the relationship between career value and academic achievement is not significant, and the full mediating effect of self-directed learning is proved in relation to career planning and academic achievement. Second, in career adaptability, both career value(Intrinsic·Extrinsic) and career plan show a static relationship. Meanwhile, self-directed learning is found to fully mediate intrinsic career value, while partially mediating extrinsic career value and career planning. Conclusion : The results of this study suggests ways to improve the academic achievement and the level of career adaptation of the ROK military nurses. That is, in addition to the wide and deep value education that can be harmonized with the self of the individual, there is a need to establish well-organized education system that equips them for diverse career experiences after being commissioned. Cadets should also learn the concepts and methods of self-directed learning through autonomous participation in the course of cadet education, calling for the education system that can restore emotional self-esteem.

Purpose : This study aimed to develop a curriculum for cadets who enter Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy from 2018 to 2021. Methods : Using the competency-based curriculum development process, the authors reviewed literature, interviewed focus groups, and conducted modified-Delphi method. Focus group interviews were done with faculty and cadets at KAFNA, middle managers and junior officers in military healthcare settings. Modified Delphi method has been implemented to verify the validity of the developed curriculum with a panel of 14 experts. The curriculum was finalized through a public hearing and the steering committee of education in KAFNA. Results : The curriculum of 146 credits was developed with six core competencies, six educational objectives, and eight program outcomes linked to one another. The Delphi for the newly developed curriculum demonstrated the average content validity ratio (CVR) of .86, a convergence level of .91, and a consensus degree of .21. Conclusion : The curriculum was successfully developed with high consensus. However, it should continue to be renewed and updated to educate and train the cadets as excellent nursing officers, as the society, the military, and the healthcare environment will not stop changing.
重金屬이온을 除去하기 爲한 陰이온 交換澱粉의 製造에 關한 硏究

In this study, highly crosslinked starches (CLS) were prepared by the reaction of corn starch and epichlorohydrin in the presence of catalyst, sodium hydroxide, and the insoluble anion exchange starches were then prepared by the reactions of the CLS and three other tertiary amines: 3-dime thylaminoethyl chloride hydrochloride, 2-dimethylaminopropyl chloride hydrochloride, and 2-diethylaminoethly chloride hydrochloride. These starch products containing tertiary amines are effective in removing chromate, dichromate, ferrocyanide, and ferricyanide. The binding capacity of these anion exchange starches is similar to that of commercial resins.

세리움이온을 開始劑로 使用하여 초산비닐을 그라프트共重合 시켜, 중합에 미치는 여러가지의 條件으로서 重合溫度, 重合時間, 開始劑濃度, 窒酸濃度 및 단량체濃度에 따른 그라프트율의 影響을 調査한 結果 질산농도의 增大와 더불어 그라프트율이 減少하였고, 개시제농도에 관해서는 극대치를 가지는 곡선이 얻어졌고, 중합온도의 上昇에 따라 그라프트율은 減少하였고, 단량체농도의 경우 低溫側에서는 그라프트율이 매우 낮았다. Starch-g-poly(vinyl accetate)를 starch-g-poly(vinyl alcohol)로 加受粉解 시키고, 그 외에 그라프트共重合體를 적외선 分光分析하였고, 分子量을 조사하여 10⁴정도를 얻었다. Starch-g-poly(vinyl alcohol)의 100℃의 물에서의 solubility는 73.3%이였다. Studies were carried out on the grafting of vinyl acetate onto granular corn starch by ceric ion as initiator. The variables such as temperatures, reaction times, acid effect, concentration of monomer, and initiator affecting the grafting of venyl acetate onto corn starch were investigated. Results showed that the degree of grafting was decreased with increase of concentration of nitric acid, presented the maximum point with concentration of ceric ion, and was low in case of low concentration of monomer. And also the saponification of starch-g-poly(vinyl acetate) to starch-g-poly (vinyl alcohol), infrared spectra of graft copolymer, and measurement of molecular weight by viscometry were carried out. Since solubility of starch-g-poly(vinyl alcohol) would be an important factor in any end use application, solubility in water at 100℃ was about 73.3%.
