한국의 주요 지역의 갯벌의 방오제의 주요 성분인 구리와 아연의 오염을 분석하였다. 2006년도의 결과와 2009년도의 결과를 비교해본 결과 구리와 아연의 오염이 소폭 증가된 것으로 나타났다. 전체조사지역 38개를 일반지역갯벌, 항구지역갯벌, 수리조선소지역 갯벌로 분류하여 분석해본 결과 수리조선소지역의 구리 및 아연의 농도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, fishery harbor지역의 갯벌의 경우또한 general tidal falt 보다 약간 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 갯벌내의 Cu 와 Zn의 오염이 방오제의 오염에 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 판단되었다. Cu and Zn concentration which are the main components of antifouling agents were determined in Korea’s tidal flats. As comparison showed in the amount of concentration in 2006 and 2009, Cu and Zn concentration were slightly increased. The tidal flats were divided into shipyard, fishery harbor and general tidal flat. Consequently, shipyard tidal flat was highly contaminated than other tidal flat. Fishery harbor compared with general tidal flat, fishery harbor tidal flat was more contaminated than general tidal flat. It is predicted that the contamination of tidal flat was the effect of antifouling agent.
무창 비육돈사에서 습식공기정화기의 여름철 공기정화효율 분석

The climate of stall significantly influences on animal production ability. High concentration of ammonia gas, $CO_2$ and lots of dust are found in modern densely raising stall system, as results, they provide a negative influence on animal and farmer health, and production ability. Therefore, it is necessary to keep clean the inside air of stall to increase the productivity. An air cleaner of wet type, consisting of a fan, a motor, rotating discs, a dust collector, a water bowl, an ozone generator etc, has been developed to clean the stall air. The work principle is that the inside air is sucked through the fan, and the rotating discs make water into fineness spray and blow into the stall. The rest water flows down to the dust collector. In the present study, we measured the dust, ammonia gas, odor, temperature and humidity in a swine stall that were installed two wet air cleaners with 700 fattening swine with On-mode and Off-mode of wet air cleaners. The dust measure was divided into 3 categories, TSP, $PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$. In summer, the TSP in on-mode were maximum $0.259mg/m^3$ and minimum $0.128mg/m^3$, and the average was $0.195mg/m^3$. These are comparable to the data from Off-mode stall that maximum $0.308mg/m^3$, minimum $0.139mg/m^3$, and average $0.277mg/m^3$. However, $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ showed any significant differences between the tests. The concentrations of ammonia gas in Off-mode stall were maximum 13.8 ppm and minimum 5.9 ppm, and the average was 8.47 ppm. However in On-mode stall the ammonia gas concentrations were maximum 10.5 ppm and minimum 5.5 ppm, and the average was 7.63 ppm. The concentration of ammonia gas in On-mode was 10% in average lower than off-mode stall. Odor was measured by olfactometer. In the Off-mode stall, the odor unit were maximum 420 $Ou/m^3$ and minimum $300\;OU/m^3$, and the average was $367\;OU/m^3$, but in the On-mode stall the odor unit were maximum $330\;OU/m^3$ and minimum $210\;OU/m^3$, and the average was $253\;OU/m^3$. Odor removal efficiency was about 31% in On-mode stall.
한국연안에서 채집된 Tapes Philippinarum 중에 중금속 농도 분석

연안환경의 오염은 해양 생태계에 직접적인 영향을 끼친다. 한국의 많은 산업단지들이 수출입을 용이하게 하기 위해 해안가에 위치하고 있으며 이들로부터 유입된 많은 오염물질 때문에 영향을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 한국 연안에서 잡힌 바지락을 대상으로 중금속 오염을 확인하여 보았다. Pb는 전부 검출한계 이하로 측정되었으며 Cd는 N.D. ? 0.27 mg/kg, Cr은 N.D. ? 0.72 mg/kg, Cu는 1.27 ? 12.46 mg/kg 와 Zn은 9.33 mg/kg ? 153.61 mg/kg의 범위로 측정이 되었다. 이 결과를 통하여 볼 때 한국 연안이 다양한 산업활동에 의한 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 판단되었으며 지속적인 모니터링이 필요할 것으로 판단되었다. Heavy metal contamination directly affects many organisms. Korea many industrial complexes is located along coasts to ensure easy export. Therefore, the coastal environment is affected by the contaminants discharged by these industrial complexes. This experiments investigated concentration of heavy metal in Tapes Philippinarum colledted Korea coast. Pb concentration was measured below detection limit. Cd concentration was ranged from N.D. to 0.27 mg/kg, Cr from N.D. to 0.72 mg/kg, Cu from 1.27 to 12.46 mg/kg and Zn from 9.33 mg/kg to 153.61 mg/kg respectively. Through this experiment Korea coast was affected by various industrial activity, which required continued investigation in those areas.

Large Eddy Simulation (LES) has been popularly applied and used in the last several decades to simulate turbulent boundary layer in the numerical domain. A fully developed turbulent boundary layer has also been applied to predict the complicated wake flow behind bluff bodies. In this study we aimed to generate an artificial turbulent boundary layer, which is based on an exponential correlation function, and generates a series of realistic three-dimensional velocity data in two-dimensional inlet section which are correlated both in space and in time. The results suggest its excellent capability for high Reynolds number flows. To make an effective generation, a hexahedral mesh has been used and Cholesky decomposition was applied to possess suitable turbulent statistics such as the randomness and correlation of turbulent flow. As a result, the flow characteristics in the domain and fluctuating pressure near the wall are very close to those of fully developed turbulent boundary layers.
