Dual actions are the most recently used delivery system in drug study. Dual-action agents are unique chemical entities comprised of two different type of antibacterial compounds covalently linked together in a single molecule in such a way that both components are able to exert their bactericidal properties. Crosslinked sulfadiazine-sulfanilamide such as antibiotics is synthesized by synthetic handle with glutaraldehyde. As a result, New synthetic antibacterial agent exhibited the broad antibacterial activities against Gram(+) and Gram(-) of 4 strains and a long durability supposing that the stomach and blood.

N/A The firing reaction and calcination characteristics of the waste shellfish were examined for the future use as absorbent. The weight variation was measured according to thermal-decomposition using TGA and observed variation of the phase. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the sample were performed using XRD and the structural analysis, SEM. The results of TGA and XRD experiments showed that the almost all of the raw Corbicula Japonica and Ostrea virgirjca were changed from calcite to lime by firing and calcination reaction. The result of SEM experiment showed that the plate type of the raw sample was changed to circle type, so the surface area ratio was increased. Above results suggested that waste shellfish were usable as absorbent in the viewpoint of the reuse of resource and the decrease of environmental pollution.

N/A Antibiotics polymer prepared by chemical bonding and simple blending of antibacterial into polymers have attracted much interest because of their long-lasting and antibacterial activity. Antibiotics polymer can significantly reduce losses associated with dissolution, photolytic decomposition and volatillization. Further more, increased efficiency safety and selectivity are additional benefits which may be realized. In this study, Antibiotics polymer was synthesized by chemical reaction of polyacrylic acid with sulfamethazine by N,N´-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide(DCC) method. Antibacterial susceptibility was determined against Streptococcus pyrogenes[gram(+)] and Esherichia coli.[gram(-)] using a standardized disc test. As a result, the synthetic antibiotics polymer exhibited the broad susceptibilty against Streptococcus pyrogenes and Esherichia coli. Especially, the antibiotic effect of antibacterial polymer against Gram negative(Esherichia coli) was much stronger than that against Gram positive(Streptococcus pyrogenes).

The field of printing use to pressurization ink using screen gassamer that is called screen printing. Existing cleaning solvent using screen printing are he organic solvents including aromatic compounds carried with poisonous and stench. Besides, cleaning method of current screen printing are for the most part mixed cleaning method of dipping and polish. Using 1,1,1-TEC, CFC-113 alternative system cleaning solvent be substituted for existing cleaning solvent against screen printing ink measured the cleaning efficiency according to gravimetric analysis method and property change of gassamer according to Image Analyzer. Also, Cleaning process system carry with excellent cleaning efficiency studied which was proposed new cleaning process including ultrasonic and vibration cleaning process be substituted for existing mixed cleaning method of dipping and polish.

Objectives: Phthalates are used in a large variety of products including as coatings of pharmaceutical tablets, film formers, stabilizers, dispersants, emulsifying agents, and suspending agents. They have been the subject of great public concern in recent years. The extensive uses of this material have attracted attention and issues regarding its safety have been raised. Methods: In this study, three types of phthalate skin permeation were studied using matrixes such as ointments, creams and lotions in vitro. The absorption of phthalate diesters [Dimethyl phthalate (DMP), Di-n-propyl phthalate (DPP) and Di-n-pentyl phthalate (DNPP)] using film former has been measured in vitro through rat skin. Epidermal membranes were set up in Franz diffusion cells and their permeability to PBS measured in order to establish the integrity of the skin before the phthalates were applied to the epidermal surface. Results: Absorption rates for each phthalate ester were determined and permeability assessment made to quantify any irreversible alterations in barrier function due to contact with the esters. Types of phthalate in vitro experimental results quickly appeared in the following order DMP > DPP ${\geq}$ DNPP. Conclusions: In the experimental results, lotion> cream> ointment, and the permeation rate of lotion with a great amount of moisture was the fastest. Skin permeation rate is generally influenced by the chemical characteristics of a given chemical, such as molecular weight and lipophilicity. As the esters became more lipophilic and less hydrophilic, the rate of absorption decreased.

Biodegradable films were prepared by solution blend method in the weight ratio of chitosan for the purpose of useful biomaterials. The possibility of biomaterials prepared from natural polymer as a skin substitute was evaluated by measuring biocompatibility. These films were inserts in the back of rat and their biodegradability was investigated by the film weight and hematology as a function of time for the biotransformation. The result of rat test showed that medium, high viscosity chitosan induced some suspects of inbiocompatibility in the tissue by goreign body reaction 48 and 72 hours after implantation. Also, we prepared the official burn ointment which is made by low viscosity chitosan. This burn ointment was covered on the skin wound of artificial burn and their effect of healing was investigated by the evaluation of the naked eye and hematological change as a function of time. The result of rats test showed that burn ointments made from chitosan was effective reductio of inflammation than negative group.

Furfurylidene acetophenone derivatives were synthesis, it was measured that hydrolysis made use of UV at a wide pH 1.0~13.0 range in 30% dioxane-H_2O solution, 25±1℃. On the basis of general base catalysis, substitutent effect, confirmation of hydrolysis products, it was measured the reaction rate of furfurylidene acetophenone derivatives for the pH change. It maybe concluded that a part was unrelated to pH and another part was in proportion to concentration of hyfroxide ion : Above pH 10.0, It was in proportion to concentration of hydroxide ion, a part having no concern with pH was added to the neutral H_2O molecule. From the result of measurement the reaction rate, hydrolysis of furfurylidene acetophenone derivatver confirmed to the irreversible first order. Through measurement the substituent effect, It found that reaction rate was accelerated by electron attracting group. Also, From the result of final product, There were furfural and acetophenone derivative was proposed a fitting mechanism.

In preparative anti-corrosive coating experiments, polyaniline was obtained by reacting an oxidizing agent with the monomer aniline. Further, the primer coating was prepared using a variety of widely-used materials such as urethane resin. For the top coating, epoxy resin and acrylic urethane resin were used. Characteristics of the coatings were assessed according to KS and ASTM specifications, and the structure of the polyaniline was characterized using FT-IR and TGA. For analysis of anti-corrosive properties in salt-spray experiments, measurements of the oxidation state of iron and surface atomic analysis were conducted using XPS and SEM-EDX. Unlike general anti-corrosive coatings which exhibit anti-corrosive effects only as a primer coating, the anti-corrosive coatings using polyaniline as the anti-corrosive pigment showed a marked synergistic effect with the top coatings. In other words, the top coatings not only produce a fine view effect, but also increase, through interaction with the primer coatings, the resistance to diffusion of corrosive factors from the external environment. It was also found that, unlike the heavy metal oxide-forming layer of the passive barrier alone, the polyaniline anti-corrosive pigment oxidized iron at the interface with the iron substrate to form a passive barrier in the oxidic layer, and itself formed a potential barrier layer with anti-corrosive factors from the external environment. Although the passive layer was damaged, the damaged area did not become completely oxidized iron; on the contrary, it showed a tendency to reduction. This can be interpreted such that a passive layer is formed again on the damaged area, and that at the same time there is a tendency to self-healing.

N/A Chitosan and Algin are known as a natural polymers. Biodegradable films were prepared by solution blend method in the weight ratio of natural polymer(low, medium, high-Chitosan, Algin) for the purpose of useful bioimplants. The possibility of bioimplants, which were prepared from natural polymers as a skin substitute and food wrapping materials were evaluated by measuring biodegradability. This biodegradable films were inserted in the back of rats and their biodegradability was investigated by hematological change evaluation as a function of time to biotransformation. It was found that these values of biodegradable films give some good results with short period test.
