목질탄화물 및 목초액 처리가 착색단고추의 생리적 특성 및 품질에 미치는 영향

착색단고추 재배 시 목질탄화물 처리가 생리적 특성 및 과실품질에 미치는 영향에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 식물체의 초장, 엽록소 함량 및 광합성률은 목초액 단독처리 및 혼용 처리구(목초액+목탄분말)에 유의적으로 효과가 인정 되었다. 품질요인인 과장, 과경 및 과육두께는 혼용 처리구에서 매우 우수하였고, 상품과율도 81.8%로 가장 높았다. 영양성분은 혼용 처리구에서 가용성고형물, 당 및 비타민 C 함량이 가장 많았고, 단독처리구인 목초액, 목탄분말 및 무처리 순으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to investigate effects of physiological characteristics and fruit quality by treatment of wood vinegar and charcoal during culture of sweet pepper. Plant height, chlorophyll content and photosynthetic rate were appreciated in only wood vinegar and mixed treatment (wood vinegar+charcoal powder). Fruit length, fruit diameter and pericarp thickness, estimating the quality were very effective in mixed treatment. Percentage of marketable fruit was also the greatest in mixed treatment. Contents of soluble soild, sugar, and ascorbic acid content were the highest in mixed treatment and followed by treatments of wood vinegar, charcoal powder, and control.

Obesity is a worldwide problem that contributes to serious diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and atheroscle- rosis. Recently, much research has examined functional natural materials and their anti-obesity activity. This study investigated the effect of enzyme-treated Ecklonia cava extracts on mice fed a high fat diet. To test the anti-obesity effects of a diet containing the enzyme-treated E. cava extracts (EEc), C57BL/6NTacSam mice were divided into six groups : normal diet (ND), high-fat diet (HFD), high-fat with Garcinia extract diet (GHD), and three high-fat with EEc diet (EHD250, EHD500, and EHD1000) groups. After 9 weeks, body weight was increased significantly in the HFD group compared to all of the EHD groups, and the weights of the liver, perirenal fat and epididymal fat paral- leled the increase in body weight. The serum GOT, GPT, triglyceride, total cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol levels were lower in the EHD1000 group than in the HFD group. The glucose and leptin concentrations were lowest in the EHD1000 group and C/EBP family expression was decreased in a dose-dependent manner. These results indicate that E. cava extracts not only have anti-oxidation functions but also anti-obesity effects.
토마토 모의유통기간 중 기능성 포장지에 의한 품질유지 효과

토마토 포장 시 목탄지를 함께 봉입했을 때 모의 유통온도에 따른 생리적 특성 및 품질에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 저장온도에 따른 CO₂ 및 에틸렌 함량은 목탄지 처리구의 13℃ 저장에서는 적었지만, 실온저장(약 25℃)에서는 현저히 많았다. 착색은 저장온도가 높을수록 빠르게 진행되었고, 목탄지 처리구에서는 착색이 지연되었다. 비타민 C는 저장기간 동안 목탄지 처리구에서 다소 높게 유지된 반면, 가용성 고형물, 총 당 함량 및 유기산 함량은 처리 간에 차이를 보이지 않았다. Postharvest physiology and quality changes of tomato fruits were investigated as affected by enclosing gas-absorbent charcoal-paper slip during simulated marketing. When charcoal-paper was enclosed, CO₂ and ethylene concentration was much higher in fruits stored at room temperature (about 25℃) than at low temperature (13℃). Coloring of fruits proceeded rapidly when stored at high temperature. Postharvest ripening was delayed in only charcoal-paper treatment. Ascorbic acid contents kept on much higher in the pulp + charcoal paper. However, changes of soluble soild, sugar, and organic acid contents were not different in fruits treated with pulp and pulp+charcoal paper.
