김수영과 문화냉전

1960년대 한국 지성계를 대표하는 ‘거목’이라 할 수 있는 인물인 시인 김수영 이 중국에 관한 번역서를 냈다는 사실은 거의 알려져 있지 않다. 프랑스 작가인 수잔느 라방 (Suzanne Labin)의 La Condition humaine en Chine communiste(1959)을 번역한 《황하는 흐른다 ― 홍콩 피난민의 비극》 (1963) 가 바로 그것이다. 부제에서도 짐작할 수 있듯이 이 책의 내용은 수잔느 라방이 공산화된 중국에서 홍콩으로 피난 온 난민들을 인터뷰한 것으로, 주로 사회주의 건설기 중국에서의 피해경험이나 부정적인 기억들을 담고 있다. 이 글은 냉전의 담론 지형 속에서 사회주의 건설기의 중국에 대한 재현의 정치와 냉전 번역의 연쇄라는 측면에서 그 가운데 하나인 번역서 《황하는 흐른다》를 당시의 시대적 배경과 역사적 맥락 속에서 정위시키고, 또한 이를 번역한 김수영의 작품세계 속에 정위시킴으로서 문화냉전과 김수영, 그리고 그의 작품세계를 재조명해보는 기회를 가져보고자 한다. It is hardly known to the general public that Kim Soo-Young who is reputed as a great writer in South Korea translated a book on contemporary China. He translated Suzanne Labin’s the Anthill: The Human Condition in Communist China (the title of original French version is La Condition humaine en Chine communiste) which was originally translated from French into English by Edward Fitzgerald. This book deals with the tragedy of the Hong Kong refugees from mainland China in which the CPC(Communist Party of China) was just under construction of the new socialist state. This paper investigates the historical context and the meaning of the translational chain of the cold-war, especially focused on the translation from the original French version of the Anthill to the Korean version under the title of ‘the Yellow River Flows on’, and sheds light on its location on the literary works of Kim Soo-Young and its relationship with the cultural cold-war.

세종학당 결혼이민자반 학습자를 위한 한국문화교육 방안 -교수요목 설계 및 단원 구성을 중심으로-

In order to help immigrants married to Koreans who are planning to live in Korea, Korean government should provide education about Korean culture before they move to and settle in the country. In light of this, the study examines the curriculum of Korean culture for new immigrants who got married to Korean citizens and proposes a revised plan. First, the researchers examined the Korean language and culture coursebooks published by King Sejong Institute, a governmental organization managing Korean language and culture education. Secondly, we conducted a survey asking what students and teachers at King Sejong Institute demand for Korean culture education. Based on the survey, the researchers suggest that the coursebooks cover more practical topics closely related to the life of immigrant spouses of Korean citizens, and that the courses include more sessions on Korean culture. To test the validity of the materials, the researchers have used them through a test operation. As the conclusion, the study presents the revised Korean culture curriculum for prospective married immigrants based on the surveys, interviews and demonstrations with the current students and teachers in King Sejong Institutes. 결혼이민자들의 순조롭고 신속한 한국사회에의 정착을 돕기 위해서는 입국 전에 초기 정착과 적응에 도움이 되는 문화교육을 제공할 필요가 있다. 이런 점을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 입국 전 결혼이민자들과 이들을 가르치는 교사를 대상으로 요구 조사를 실시하여 교육자와 학습 주체자의 요구가 반영된 문화 교육과정을 제안하고자 했다. 이를 위해 먼저 세종학당의 교육과정과 교재를 검토하여 문화교육의 현황에 대해 살펴보았으며 이후 세종학당 결혼이민자 반 학습자 및 교사를 대상으로 요구 조사를 실시하였다. 요구 조사 결과, 한국에서의 일상생활에 도움이 되는 기본적인 문화 주제와 결혼이민자라는 특수성을 반영한 문화 주제가 추가되어야 하며, 교재 내에서의 문화 학습의 분량 또한 확대되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 요구조사 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 입국 전 결혼이민자를 위한 맞춤형 한국문화 교수요목과 단원을 구성하였으며, 시범운영 및 인터뷰를 통해 학습자와 교사의 의견을 수렴한 후 문화 교육과정을 최종적으로 확정지었다. 본 연구는 수요자들의 의견을 반영한 한국문화 교수요목을 설계하고 단원 구성 방안을 개발하여 입국 전 결혼이민자를 위한 특수 목적의 한국문화 교육 방안을 제안했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

이주민의 사회통합을 위한 한국 문화 교육 방법 연구

This study investigated the content and methods of teaching Korean Culture Education to immigrants in order to stabilize and integrate them into multicultural Korean society. As Korea becomes a multicultural society, due to language and cultural differences, immigrants in Korea face lots of difficulties and conflicts to adapt themselves into Korean society, It is urgent to build up an ideological foundation in order for the society to overcome these conflicts and to integrate all of them into the multicultural Korean society. In this study, we propose a interculturalism as a principle of social integration. Interculturalism disintegrates superiority of power inherent in diversity and puts emphasis on mutual respect and solidarity. In this study, first, we suggests ‘interactivity’ and ‘individuality’ as the characteristics of interculturalism. Based on these characteristics, we analyzed the cultural aspects <Korea and Korean culture for immigrants>, the textbooks of social integration program, for both beginner (1,2) and intermediate (1,2) levels. We reviewed these textbook to find out whether they are appropriate for the social integration of the Koreans and immigrants. Based on the results, we suggest methods to enhance social integration.

다목적 콘택트렌즈 용액이 HCE 와 L929 세포에 미치는 저해효과

HCE 세포와 L929 세포를 배양하여 현재 시중에서 유통되고 있는 6 개 회사의 Lens Mate. ReNu. ReNu MultiPlus. SoLo Care Soft. Complete, Hypa Opia 등 7종 류의 MPS 를 배양세포에 처리하고 48 시간 동안 배양한 후 MTT 와 SRB 염색방법을 사용하여 세포 수준의 독성을 검정히였다. HCE세포와 L929세포에 MPS 를 처리하여 MTT assay 결과 4종-류의 MPS에서 세포 증식 저해율이 30% 이상으로 나타났고. 3 종류의 MPS는 대조군과 유사하거나 더 높은 증식율을 보였다. SRB assay 결과 HCE 세포에서는 5종류의 MPS 에서 세포 증식 저해율이 30% 이상으로 나타났다. 그 러나 L929 세포에서는 모든 제품이 세포 -증식 저해율 30% 이하로 나타났다. MPS를 세포주에 처리할 경우 MTT 방법이 SRB 방법보다 더 민감하였다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 일부 제품의 MPS 가 HCE 세포와 L929세포 증식을 저해하는 것으로 사료된다. 1'0 investigate the inhibitory effect of multi purpose solutions. HCE and L929 cells were cultured and treated with seven Multi Purpose Solutions( MPSs) of six companies (Lens Ma te‘ ReNu. ReNu MultiPlus. SoLo Care Soft. Complete. Hypa Opia). The cytotoxicity was measured by M1'T and SRB assay. In MTT assay. f()ur of them were showed over 30% of cell growth inhibition. Five of them had over 30% of growth inhibition on the HCE cells. but all of them were non cytotoxic 011 L929 cells in SRB assay. MTT assay was more sensitive than SRB assay in this study. We recommended that MPSs were removed by saline solution before lens insertion. We suggest that MTT assay is better than SRB assay to investigate cell growth inhibition rate.

한국어교육에서 학습자의 능동적 참여를 위한 문학교육 방법 연구 - 반응 중심 문학교육의 비판적 수용을 바탕으로 -

Literature education should lead to individual and diverse appreciations of learners’ about literature. But most of the literature classes in Korean language education, have learners simply find out answers to a few questions. This method is to teach for ‘knowledge’, and is a ‘teacher-centered instruction’. Learners should not be ignored the pleasure of literature. The purpose of this study is to lead learners to various responses on the literature and share the responses with each other. This is learner-centered instruction and to lead to active participation for them. For this purpose, at first the author critically review the theory of ‘response-based Literature education’ set by Rosenblatt. And then the author analyze the problems concerning the method of teaching literature in Korean language education. Lastly the author construct a model which suggest 5-step-class instruction, and then show an example of the model, Yoon, Dong-ju's ‘Prologue’. Response-based Literature education could be useful for Korean learners who have various nationalities, social and cultural backgrounds. Various responses on literature make their classes more interesting. The transaction among learners would help them to understand for the intercultural.
