Performance comparison between TD protocol and ASK Simulation Communication

Propagation of electromagnetic wave in the water or underground is very difficult because of the conductivity of the propagation materials. In this case, we usually use acoustic signal as ultrasonic but, it is not easy to transfer long distance with coherent method because of time varying multipath, doppler effect, and attenuations. So, we use noncoherent method as ASK to communicate between long distances. But, as the propagation speed of acoustic sound is very slow, the BW of the channelis narrow. It is very hard to guaranty the enough speed of communication like digital image data. In this paper, we simulated a new data communication protocol which can transmit multi-bit digital data with each single ping by using MATLAB and then compared the results with ASK. We showed the improvement of the data communication speed in the water.

본 연구는 자영업 가구의 채무불이행에 미치는 가구특성을 2017∼18년에 걸친 가계금융·복지조사 자료를 활용해 분석했다. 추정에는 이항종속변수 모형이 활용되었으며 전체 자료와 자영업가구에 한정한 분석도 시행하여 자영자가구와 비자영자가구 간에 종사상지위 선택의 이질성을 관찰하고자 했다. 채무불이행을 설명하기 위한 요인으로, 신용활동 특성과 함께 인구·사회학적 특성, 고용·소득·주거특성 등을 고려했다. 추정 결과, 부채/자산 비율, 신용대출 및 제2금융권 대출 등 신용활동 특성 외에 고용·소득·주거, 인구·사회학적 가구특성 등도 채무불이행 위험에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자산 대비 부채 비율이 높을수록, 신용 및 비은행권 대출 비중이 높을수록 채무불이행 확률이 높았다. 40~50대 가구주는 청년 또는 노년 가구주보다 채무불이행 확률이 높았고 고학력자, 아파트 및 자가 소유자의 위험이 유의하게 낮았다. 종사상지위와 관련하여 소득이 안정적인 임금근로자 가구의 채무불이행 위험이 자영업가구 또는 미취업가구보다 낮았다. 자영업가구만을 대상으로 추정한 결과, 산업별로 상이한 위험확률을 보이고 있다. 또한, 전체 자료를 활용한 추정치와 대체로 유사했고, 자영업자가구의 이질성은 확인되지 않았다. 사업자 대출이 상대적으로 차입제약과 비용이 낮은 점, 그리고 자영자 대출의 이중성 등을 고려할 때 과다채무 또는 채무불이행 문제의 관리를 위해 신용활동 특성과 함께 인구·주거 및 기타 사회학적 특성을 정책조정의 고려대상으로 포함할 수 있을 것이다. This study examines the determinants of self-employed households default probability. Empirical analysis is carried out with applying a household level micro-data for the period between 2017 and 2018. With a binary dependent variable, a logistic regression is estimated to find the factors driving households default. As independent variables, the households demographic, employment, income, and housing characteristics were considered. As the results of estimations, debt-to-asset ratios, credit loans and non-bank loans have a negative impact on the probability of default. And demographic household characteristics such as employment, income, housing also show significant effects on default. Wage workers has a lower risk of default than self-employed and unemployed workers. In addition, estimates for self-employed people show different risk probabilities for different industries. In addition, the heterogeneity of self-employed households regarding the choice of occupation status has not been confirmed. Considering the recent increase in government support for SMEs, the results provide empirical evidence on the view that government agencies may need to have a policy effort that takes account of non-financial factors like socio-demographic and housing characteristics as well as only financial factors.

We suggest a level controller with ultra-sonic, and designed monitoring system which can guages the level of water or oil tanks spreaded in remote area. We designed the system with 89C51 single chip microcontroller. We implemented RS-485 protocol and developed remote control system package with visual C++. This system can control 10 remote systems and every remote system can gather data and send data to the main controller.

In fingerprint verification and identification, fingerprint and background region should be segmented. For this purpose, most systems obtain variance of brightness of X and Y direction using Sobel mask. To decide if given local region is background or not, the variance is compared with a certain threshold. Although this method is simple, most fingerprint image does not separated with two region of fingerprint and background region. In this paper, we presented a new segmentation algorithm based on run-length connectivity analysis. For a given binary image after thresholding, suggested algorithm calculates RL of X and Y direction. Until the given image is segmented to two regions, small run region is successively inverted. Experimental result show that this algorithm effectively separates fingerprint region and background region.

Binarization is a process of minutiae extraction in fingerprints identification algorithm. In this paper, we proposed more exact minutiae extraction algorithm with more enhanced binarization method, compared with traditional binarization process. We could have more enhanced results by using the direction and the half distance between ridges as the threshold of binarization process.
