        A Study on Coumarin as a Cosmetic Ingredient

        This study investigated the effects of coumarin, a flavonoid known for various physiological activities like antiviral, anticancer, and antibacterial properties, on anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory processes, aiming to explore its application in functional cosmetics. The results are as follows: Cell toxicity experiments using RAW 264.7 cells showed no significant cytotoxicity for coumarin at any concentration, indicating its safety for skin application. Observing coumarin's antioxidant activity through DPPH radical scavenging showed concentration-dependent effectiveness, though not significantly varied with concentration. The inhibition of silica-induced ROS production in cells was concentration-dependent. Both NO production inhibition and histamine release measurements showed concentration-dependent suppression. These findings suggest that Coumarin can be effectively used as a natural ingredient in cosmetic development for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

        Analyzing instructors' intention to accept digital revolution technology-related education in beauty care

        The purpose of this study is to analyze how independent variables such as instructors' willingness to innovate, subjective norms, and self-efficacy affect technology acceptance intention through parameters such as ease of use and usefulness, and in what ways, and to suggest ways to revitalize new technology-related education in the beauty field. The results of the analysis of beauty major instructors' intention to adopt digital new technologies showed that innovation intention, subjective norms, and self-efficacy toward new technologies have a defining influence on the parameters of ease and usefulness. These results can be interpreted as a strong recognition of the need to apply new technologies in the beauty field and the need to improve the curriculum for this purpose, but the instructors' own fear of applying new technologies makes it difficult to apply new curriculum in reality. Therefore, the development of teaching materials related to digital technology education that can be easily understood by beauty instructors should be prioritized, and the development and use of related education programs should be expanded. In addition, we are confident that close collaboration with digital new technology and IT-related departments to understand the education of beauty majors and mutual research to develop education programs will help to develop digital new technology education programs tailored to the beauty field.

        In this thesis, it is proposed and designed a group communication API using Objected-Oriented. It is divided as two services, group membership services and delivery services. The group membership services provide dynamic group management. And the Delivery services provide data transmission management. This API has reusability, scalability, flexibility as using Objected-Oriented. And also it is very easy to add, modify and delete later on. Moreover, due to encapsulate of low-level entity, it provides convenient user interface.

      • 염증매개 물질과 멜라닌 생성과의 관계

        The epidermal environment contains multiple inflammatory mediators, cytokines and growth factors that may alter constitutive melanocyte function. Constitutive melanocyte function can also be markedly altered by release of inflammatory mediators, such as ATP, histamine, arachidonic acid and its metabolites To investigate correlation of inflammatory mediators and melanin production, we examined effects of inflammatory mediators on tyrosinase activity and melanin production in B16 melanoma cells. Both ATP and histamine significantly inhibited tyrosinase activity and melanin production in B16 melanoma cells. Melittin significantly stimulated tyrosinase activity and melanin production in the absence or presence of MSH in B16 melanoma cells. These results suggest that arachidonic acid and its metabolites may be associated with the hyperpigmentation in inflammatory lesions.

      • Patchouli essential oil이 멜라닌 생성에 미치는 영향

        To investigate effects of patchouli essential oils on whitening activity, we measured their effect on anti-oxidant activity, tyrosinase activity and MSH-induced melanin production. In DPPH radical scavenging activity, patchouli significantly removed DPPH radical, suggesting that patchouli has anti-oxidant activity. Patchouli inhibited both purified-tyrosinase activity and MSH-stimulated melanin production in B16 melanoma cells in a dose-dependent manner. From the above results, such an inhibitory effect of patchouli may be due to the inhibition of tyrosinase associated with anti-oxidant activity, which suggest that patchouli essential oils appear to be materials to develope whitening agents.

        유비쿼터스 센서네트워크에서 균일한 에너지 소모를 유도하는 경로설정기법

        USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)은 감지기능을 수행하기 위해서는 센서노드에서 싱크로의 라우팅 기법이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 데이터의 전달을 위한 경로설정시 에너지의 효율성 및 균일성을 제공하는 제어메시지의 확률적 플러딩을 제안하며 에너지의 소모를 되도록이면 균일하도록 유도하는 에너지확률을 이용하고 경로를 은닉할 수 있는 분산 라우팅기법을 제안하였다. 에너지효율성을 측정하기 위하여 수학적 모델링과 NS-2 시뮬레이터를 이용하였다. 각 기법은 기존의 관련연구와 비교분석하여 본 논문에서 제안한 기법이 우수함을 증명하였다. WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) performs to detect and collect environmental information for one purpose. As examples, WSN is applicable for home network, patient management of a hospital, logistics management, status detection during the war and so on. The WSN is composed of a sink node and several sensor nodes and has a constraint in an aspect of energy consumption caused by limited battery resource. So many required mechanisms in WSN should consider the remained energy condition. A routing mechanism is requested to deliver the collected information to a sink considering energy efficiency in WSN. There have been many researches to establish (a) route(s) for data delivery to the sink. In this paper, we propose establishment of efficient routes. We proposed a uniform routing mechanism together with considering energy efficiency. For the routing, we define energy probability as routing metrics information and Performs suppression of exchange of control messages. In addition, we derive to uniformly consume the energy of the sensor node when establishing the routes. Also, we evaluate and analyze the energy efficiency for proposed mechanisms through NS-2 simulator.

        유비쿼터스 센서네트워크에서 에너지효율을 고려하는 비동기적인 키관리 기법

        WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) performs to detect and collect environmental information for one purpose. The WSN is composed of a sink node and several sensor nodes and has a constraint in an aspect of energy consumption caused by limited battery resource. So many required mechanisms in WSN should consider the remaining energy condition. To deploy WSN, tile collected information is required to protect from an adversary over the network in many cases. The security mechanism should be provided for collecting the information over the network. we propose asynchronized key management considering energy efficiency over WSN. The proposed key management is focused on independence and difference of the keys used to deliver the information over several routes over the network, so disclosure of any key does not results in exposure of total key information over the overall WSN. Also, we use hash function to update key information for energy efficiency Periodically. We define the insecurity for requested security Properties and Proof that the security properties are guaranteed. Also, we evaluate and analyze the energy efficiency for the proposed mechanism. 최근 유무선 네트워크는 IP 코어망을 중심으로 가입자망의 형태를 가지는 BcN(Broadband convergence Network)로 진화되고 있으며, 이와 함께 인간 외부환경의 감지를 수행할 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크(USN : Ubiquitous Sensor Network)가 새로이 연구되어 오고 있다. 감지하는 대부분의 데이터의 경우에 악의를 가진 노드에게 노출되거나 위변조 되어서는 안될 정보들이기 때문에 센서네트워트에서 에너지 효율을 고려한 정보보호 기법을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 임의의 센서노드부터 싱크까지의 에너지 효율적이고 안전한 데이터 전달을 위한 정보보호기법으로, 단순한 해쉬함수의 계산을 중심으로 에너지 소모를 줄이는 키관리기법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 키관리기법의 보안성 분석을 위하여 만족해야 하는 보안성에 대해 정의 증명하였으며, 에너지효율성을 측정하였다. 각 기법은 기존의 관련연구와 비교 분석하여 본 논문에서 제안한 기법이 우수함을 증명하였다.
