This study attempted at first to find out a more suitable form of catalog to guide library users who need subject approach through a literature survey, secondly to see how and which catalog form is kept by Korean research or special libraries through an analysing questionnaires, and thirdly to evaluate these data and explore the ways to improve the function of classified catalog in Korean research or special libraries. The findings of this study shows that a classified catalog is more desirable form of catalog in research or special libraries in Korea because of the diversity of languages of the literatures needed by researchers, the educational programs for librarians and the problems of subject heading lists. Above mentioned questionnaire survey shows that more than $70\%$ of research or special libraries in Korea uses classified catalogs. However, among those libraries - only $8\%$ has the index of cassified catalog which is prerequisite for the catalog users. This survey also indicates that recently many libraries began or converted classified catalogs to subject catalogs. The writer explains the beginnings or convertings of classified catalog to subject catalog is due to the fact that many libraries do not have the index of a classified catalog which is badly needed by the library users. Based on these findings, writer said that to improve the function of the present classified catalog, it should include it's index to guide the library users who are not familier with the classifing system of the subjects. Through the entire paper, the writer has attempted to develop a point of argument by comparing a classified catalog with a subject catalog. Writer's point is not only a subject catalog using the particular language terms as a communication tool has problems in itself, but also the prevailing of this catalog form in North America is caused by their different situations from ours.

분류목록의 추리성에 관한 연구

The factors which can help the library users trace the specific subject that she or he needs are most important, when they are not sure of what they need exactly in front of a classified catalogue. This study is about what the factors are and how the factors affect the inference of users' reasoning structure. Since the classified catalogues are reflected by the classification structure, naturally the logic in the classification system becomes the focus of the study. This study concludes the classification system which enables the library users to use their reasoning capabilities, viz. the classification system which can help the users trace the specific subject even as they are not sure of the exact subject they need has following factors in the system. 1. It should have the validity based on the facts in the components of the classification system. 2. It should be logically arranged when the components of the classification system are placed in due sequence. 3. The notation of the system should be based on mnemonics. The reason is that the indispensable factors in the formation of inference of human reasoning structure are: 1. the premises which are based on the facts and 2. the logical relationship between the premises and conclusions which are induced from the premises.

우리 나라의 농업정보시스템설립을 위한 일연구

This study is aimed to assure that the agricultural technical information which is the important factor to increase rural production should be widely used by rural communities, and for the wide circulation for the technical information, the appropriate information system is available for the farmers and extention workers who are responsible for the information transfer to farmers. The study is also aimed to find out an outline of a structure and characteristic of the appropriate information system for the rural communities in Korea. The method used to accomplish the purpose of the study, the modernization theory of agriculture of T. W. Schultz was examined and assertions of the information specialists regarding the issues of information transfer and agricultural information system :in developing countries were analyzed. Through the above literary research, the author tried to create the most suitable characteristic and structure of agricultural information system in rural communities in Korea. To justify the author's assertion, a survey through questionniares for a typical rural province was attempted. The assertion that the author tried to convey as the most suitable agricultural information system of this country is the establishment agricultural information analysis center mainly for the extention workers and designing information system which has affiliation between the rural guidance office which is already situated every unit of administractive districts all over the country and public library which is now not properly located and functioned.

연구도서관 장서의 양적 질적 평가에 관한 분석적 고찰

The purpose of this study is to bring out the most reasonable and feasible evaluation methods of research library collection in Korea. At the very outset, writer tried to define the purpose and the necessity of collection evaluation. Writer described a collection evaluation is to gain the data for decision making on selection policy, weeding and storage project, and explained it is one of the procedures of a collection development system operation of being explained as repeated three procedures through a collection development plan, an implimentation of the set plan(selection process) and a collection evaluation. Writer also pointed out the fact many libraries in Korea are apt to by pass or overlook this important process. Writer then defined the criteria of a collection evaluation as the measurement of the proportion of library holding's capability to meet users' demands and that of the degree of total collection's utilization. Writer introduced and analysed seven existing collection evaluation methods and concluded the method by a survey of users' needs and opinion and the method by a circulation survey are the most feasible and reasonable methods that can be applied. Writer also added that using above two evaluation methods together can enhance the effectiveness of collection evaluation.

정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 관한 연구

본 연구는 학생들의 창의성 함양을 위하여 정보교과목과 타 교과목들을 통합적으로 교수학습 하는 것이 필요한 이유를 심리학과 신경과학의 이론을 연구함으로써 밝히고 있다. 창의성이란 마음이나 두뇌의 내부에 이미 존재하는 정보와 외부에서 입수하는 정보를 통합하는 과정에서 생긴다. 이것이 곧 사람이 생각하는 것 또는 인간정보처리라고 말하는 것이다. 창의성이 정보통합의 과정에서 생기는 것이라면 학교수업에서 이 원리를 활용하여 학생들의 창의성 함을 도모해야 할 것이다. 다양한 정보자료의 활용을 기본 바탕으로 하는 정보교과목을 정규 교과목으로 가르치되. 타 교과목들과 병행하여 교수/학습함으로써 학생들의 마음 또는 두뇌가 두 가지 이상의 교과목의 정보를 통합하는 경험을 하도록 할 수 있는 것이다. 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습을 실시하는 것은 최종적으로는 각각의 교과목 담당자들이 주도적 역할을 해야 하는 것이므로 사서교사와 일반교과목 담당교사들을 대상으로 통합적 교수/학습의 실시에 대한 의견과 이러한 교육의 실시를 위하여 필요한 환경을 설문조사 하였다. 이들은 학생들의 창의성 함양을 위한 통합적 교수/학습에 기본적으로 긍정적 견해를 가지고 있으며 교수/학습의 대상자인 학생들도 통합적 교수학습의 실시에 필요한 조건을 갖추고 있다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 그러나 일반교과목 담당교사는 물론 사서교사들까지도 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 대하여 그 내용이나 방법 효과 등의 지식이 매우 부족하며 또 학교도서관은 통합적 교수/학습의 실시에 필요한 준비가 되어 있지 않은 것으로 판명되었다. 조사결과에 따라 필자는 사서교사 양성기관인 대학의 문헌정보학 교육과정에 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 대한 내용을 포함시키는 것이 선결 과제이며. 학교도서관은 이러한 교수/학습을 실시하는데 필요한 자료를 충실히 갖추어서 창의성 함양에 도움이 되는 교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 한다는 제안을 하였다. The first purpose of this paper is to disclose the reason why integrated teaching/learning between Information Literacy Subject(ILS) and the other school subjects is necessary in order to enhance students creativity. Postulated creativity is generated from integration of information, the author discusses about the function of human mind and brain by studying Schema theory of Jean Piaget and the human celebral cortex. The author then, discloses the function of human information process(thinking process) is an integrating process of information within the mind and brain. The fact that a thinking process is an integrating process of information implies the necessity of integrated teaching/learning between ILS and the other school subjects. The second purpose of this paper is to find out the urgent points to implement the integrated teaching/learning between ILS and the other subjects at present school situation. The findings from the survey shows that school libraians and teachers are primarily positive about the integrated teaching/learning in connection with enhancing students creativity. However, they are not familiar with about the integrated teaching/learning. Therefore, the writer draws following recommendations. The curriculum for school library media specialist to be at library school should include the rationale, contents, methods and effects of integrated teaching/learning and school library collections are ready to implement the integrated teaching/learning between ILS and the other school subjects.

창의성 개발을 위한 학습도구로서의 정보처리모형의 타당성 연구

문헌정보학계에서 개발하여 학습도구로 사용하고 있는 정보처리모형이 왜 창의성 함양에 도움이 되는가? 창의성은 정보의 통합에서 생긴다는 전제를 가지고, 사람의 마음과 두뇌가 정보를 처리할 때와 정보처리모형을 사용할 때 정보통합이 일어나는가를 살펴본 결과 양자에서 다 같이 그 시스템 자체가 창의성을 생산해 내는 정보의 통합을 위한 장치임이 드러났다. 그러므로 정보처리모형의 사용은 사고과정의 정보통합을 도울 수 있다. 또 문자나 언어와 같은 심리적 도구의 기능이 사람의 사고과정에서 일어나는 정보의 통합을 돕는 것이라는 연구결과를 미루어 정보처리모형도 하나의 심리적 도구이므로 사고과정에서 일어나는 정보의 통합을 도와준다고 유추할 수 있다. 따라서 정보처리모형은 두 가지 이유에서 인간정보처리가 통합적이 되도록 도와준다. 즉 창의성을 돕는것이다. What is the reason that the use of an Information Processing Model (PM) contributes to enhancement of students' creativity? Postulated creativity is generated from integration of information, the author discloses the function of a human information processing system and an IPM is an integrating process of information which produces creativity. Also the use of IPM as a tool influences favorably the integration of information within the human thinking system because the function of psychological tool helps the integration of information that produces creativity.
