        Managing for originality in technical innovation is very important in the manufacturing companies. Every successful innovation starts from a originative idea. Whether it be anew application for a technology, the satisfaction of a new identified need or of an old need in a new way, or the manufacture of a product by a different method. Some organizations appear much more adept at generating these ideas, while others devote substantial resources to producing results which aew at best mandane. But there is no simple recipe leading to the attainment of a creative organization, for the processes involved are imperfectly understood. nevertheless, it is possible to identify some of the ingredients - originalitive people, an enverironment receptive to new idea for which are largely within the R&D director's control. This paper takes these points into concideration, and based on the literatures and understanding of the present through the interview with some of engineers and R&D managers, and suggested organizational methods for generating originality to environment.

        This study explore the relationship between corporate ethical values and organizational commitment in small-medium size manufactures of Teagu area. The study 1) discuss corporate ethical values as a component of corporate culture, 2) review the literature on organizational commitment, 3) hypothesize a positive relationship between corporate ethical values and organizational commitment and, 4) empirically test the relationship with data from manufactures in Teagu area. The study results provide strong evidence of a positive association between corporate ethical values and organizational commitment. This research demonstrating a strong link between commitment and specific organizational benefits, corporate ethics may be not only an important societal issue, but a key organizational issue as well.

        A large number of formal models or techniques for R & D project selection and evaluation has been proposed. But no one has come up with an overall system for classfying the various prodosed models or techiques. With this warning in mind, I attemped to reclassifying the various proposed models or techniques accordance with stages, goals, and contents for project evaluation and selection of enterprise. Evaluation and Selection models can be classified into three categories. That is following: a) Exploratory Models: Scoring Models. Profile Models. Check-list Model. Neumerical Methods. paired Comparison Methods. Diamond Models. Frontier Models. b) Analytical Models: Economic Index Models. Risk Analyis Models. Value Contribution Models. Economic Calculation Methods. Scoring Models. c) Resource Allocation Models: L.P. Models. N.L.P. Models. IP. Models. D.P. Models. Relevance Tree Methods. S. D. Models. Above reclassification can be modified if new evaluation and selection models are built in the phase of overall enterprise. But it is nearly impassible. It is because that quantity and quality of evaluating data can be considered in each stages are different. Therefore I think that the reclassification of models in my study is reasonable.

        Strategic Technical innovation is very important in the manufacturing industries. But there is no simple recipe leading to the attainment of a creative organization, for the processes involved are imperfectly understood. Nevertheless, it is possible to identify some of the ingredients- creative people, and environment receptive to new idea, and the use of creative problem-solving techniques-the conditions for which are largely within the R&D director's control. This paper based on the literratures and understanding of the present through the interview with some of engineers and managers, and worked in order to organizational problems-solving in the veering of technical innovation. That are Firstly. some of efficient devices for information management in the manufacturing industries, Secondly, organizational methods for menerating creativity and adaotation to environment, Thirdly, devices of management for the interdependence of research organization and research functions.

      • 신제품개발과제 선별모형

        A golden period of modelization for new industrial product R & D project selection was 60s-7Os. Many models, in this period, were advented. But its level of usage showed lack of enthuiasm extremely. Therefore, the trend in 70s held back. But in recent years the importance of R & D project selection modelization is reembossing. The idea screening stage or R & D project selection decision is deficient decision area in the new product process. Most quantitive and economic models focus on the commercialization stages, while idea screening models are largely speculative and arbitrary, This paper presents an empirically derived and validated new product screening model. Typical screening variables were measured for each of 62 actual new product projects. Ten dimentions were found to describe the screening domain. A multiple regression model was derived from the real data and when validated using a cross-split-half method, yielded a predictive accuracy of 85.2 percent.

        Corporations must be responsible to the society. Therefore, decisions made in the corporations should be made based on ethics. Because, if the corporate decisions are made non-ethically, social group power may urge corporations to critical situations by bad evaluation. Based on the importance of corporate ethic, it is suggested the methods to make the decisions on the management more ethically in this paper. The methods are reviewed by following three sides. 1. Personal side : - Will and mind of the top manager. - Motivation for the employees. 2. Organizational side : - Make the organizational environment to the professional management system. - Establishment the Corporate Culture which can be sure by all members. - Change of decision making structure. - Creation of the social responsibility division. 3. Management side : - Establishment of the Corporate mission based on the ethical value. - Preparation of the corporate credos and ethical codes. - Practice of the propaganda and education of ethics.

      • 技術革新의 産出指標開發을 위한 틀

        In this paper a framework for the development of the output indicators of technological innovation is described. The approach is based on a characteristics description of product technology. A product is consideres a combination of three sets of characteristics ; the technical features of product, the services performed by the product, the method of its production. These sets of characteristics are retated by patterns of mapping. The Potential applications of the framework to the development of output indicators of this framework to the concepts of technological regimes, technological guide posts and dominant design is described.

      • 기업의 윤리문화와 구성원들의 근로의욕과의 관계 연구

        One of the ultimate aims of corporate is achievement of desirable outcomes. Much more outcomes come from work desire of the employees. If corporate takes form ethical culture to the employees, work desire of employees will aries more than past. This means that employees will more contribute than past to the corporate, if corporate gives ethical behavior to employees. This article consider relationship between business ethical culture and work desire of employees, and analyze it with an empirical data(Jan. 20 ∼ Feb. 27, 2000) of 399 persons in 38 manufactures of small-medium size located in seoul, pusan, ulsan, kumi areas. The result of this study shows an evidence of positive relation between business ethical culture and work desire of employees. Therefore, top management must know that enforcement of corporate atmosphere and policy on ethical behavior is necessary to change ethical behavior of employees, and must establish codes of ethics or corporate policy on ethics to change individual beliefs about ethics, and also create climate. It menas that change of ethical behavior of employees is bring to the organizational benefits.

        한국기업의 윤리경영 정착화 방안

        A corporation is one of the sub-systems in the social system. Therefore Corporations must recognize its value of existence in the society, and need to take responsibility in adoption itself and coexisting in the social system in order to survive and develope. Today's business environment requires the pursuit of profit while willingly submitting to the ethical responsibility. It is not a selective matter but an indispensable matter, and a decisive factor in the business competence power. This study suggests ten methods for the establishment of corporate ethical management in korean society. ① Recognizing the need for systematic and durable education of ethical management. ② Setting an example to other top managers(CEO). ③ The improvement of environment to develop an appropriate climate for ethical management. ④ Developing careful plan and indicator, and motivating continuous propulsion to ethical responsibility. ⑤ Indivisible management for reliance from the stake-holders. ⑥ Improving the control structure. ⑦ The continuous propulsion of law and system from government authorities. ⑧ Enacting and distributing an exemplary ethical code, and applying detailed enforcement regulation and education of an example corporate. ⑨ Appeal to the self control of the corporate. ⑩ Introducing corporate ethics by making it a required subject in universities and business administration courses. 본 연구는 개별경제 주체로서의 현대기업이 윤리적 경영을 하지 않으면 안 되게 된 시대적 국내․외 환경의 변화 양상에 따른 윤리경영의 불가피성을 입증 할 환경변화와 윤리적 경영과 기업의 성과간의 관계를 통한 윤리경영의 이점을 살펴보고, 한국기업의 윤리경영의 실태와 문제점을 파악한 후 한국 기업들이 윤리경영을 통한 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 서둘러서 개선시키지 않으면 안 될 종합적인 방안들을 제시하고 있다.
