        벤처기업의 인적자원관리가 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This study empirically analyzed how human resource management(HRM) practices affect the performance of venture firms using The results of the study are as follows: First of all, several HRM practices were found to affect organizational performance significantly. Specifically, ${(1)}$ recruitment and selection practices were negatively related to turnover, which seemed to mean that effective staffing including development of good recruitment pools and rigorous selection process lower turnover, and ${(2)}$ training and development, compensation, and labor-management relations were positively related to subjective performance of the firms, which implied that as the venture firms provide more opportunities of training and development to employees, provide compensation on the basis of performance, and develop cooperative labor-management relations, the subjective performance of the venture firms Increases. Secondly, negative interaction effects were found to exist between competitive strategies and HRM practices on organizational performance. Specifically, ${(1)}$ the interaction between differentiation strategy and compensation were significantly related to turnover, ${(2)}$ HRM planning and training and development interacted with differentiation strategy to significantly affect subjective organizational performance, and ${(3)}$ HRM planning, selection, training and development, compensation and communication practices interacted with technology innovation strategy to affect subjective organizational performance. So far, there have not been many studies which deal with HRM practices of venture firms in Korea. Thus, it is hoped that this study stimulate more research efforts on theory development and empirical studies on HRM practices of venture firms. Also, it is hoped that government conduct more policy studies and provide more resources in HRM area of the venture firms. Specifically, it is suggested that government take proactive steps to improve industrial skilled staff and technical researcher systems in order to alleviate the problems of workforce shortages in venture firms. And it IS also suggested that regional human resource development programs be introduced with the participation of the firms, local governments, and universities.

        학술연구 : 벤처기업 네트워킹 활동이 경영성과에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to analyze the effects of networking activities on venture business performance. Specifically, this study proposed and tested the hypotheses that the range and intensity(frequency, trust) of networking activities have positive relationships with venture business performance. In order to test the hypotheses, this study surveyed 435 firms registered as venture businesses in Pusan, Ulsan, and Kyungnam regions in Korea about networking activities and other firm and founder characteristics. Ninety questionnaires were returned and used for analyses. The regression analyses results showed significant positive relationship between internal competency and performance. Also, trust with networking sources turned out to be positively related to firm performance, while the relationships between range and frequency of networking activities and performance were nonsignificant. When trust with each networking source was separately related to performance, 6 sources - accountants, research institutions, universities, government ministry, SMIPC, and customers and suppliers - turned out to be significantly related to firm performance. Implications and limitations of this study and future research directions are discussed in the conclusion.

        In a national economy, a tourism industry is a fast-growing one which plays an important role in obtaining foreign currency, And a tourism industry not only facilitates income redistribution among regional areas, but it can also increase the national employment level. Therefore, it is a strategic industry which gives a large contribution to the nations' economy development. In a local economy, also, a tourism industry can bring about a lot of spillover effects as well as high economic profits, which allow the local government to raise and expand local budget for the local economy development, Spillover effects includes job creation, local economic growth, and environment preservation, The local government, therefore, has to prepare a long-term and grand plan for nurturing and subsidizing it local tourism industry, including how to make use of its endowed tourism resources, In the age of local self-government, each city should continue to nurture its tourism industry which may be helpful in financing regional development projects. Gimhae, also, has to strive to create favorable conditions to make local and foreign tourists enjoy comfortable and enjoyable trips.

      • 산·학·연·관 컨소시엄 할성화 방안에 관한 고찰

        현대의 기업환경은 기술변화가 가속화되고 단일기술보다는 인접기술과 연계된 복합 및 융합화 기술의 필요가 증대됨에 따라 산업체가 모든 기술을 독자개발 하거나 핵심기술을 보유한다는 것은 거의 불가능해졌다. 따라서 투자효율의 극대화 및 기술의 공유를 위해서 산ㆍ학ㆍ연ㆍ관 협동의 필요성이 제기된다. 이로써 자원과 기술을 공유하거나 교류나 활용하는 등의 상호보완이 가능하며 시너지 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 특히 이러한 협력관계 중에서 대학이 선도적인 역할을 하여야 한다. 산학협동이 활성화되기 위해서는 무엇보다도 각 주체상호간의 신뢰가 중요하다. 중소기업의 입장에서는 최소의 비용으로 최대의 효과를 창출하려는 노력뿐만 아니라 특정 고유분야에 역량을 집중해야 한다. 대학의 입장에서는 수행 연구과제로부터 반드시 실용적 결과를 도출하겠다는 의지가 있어야 할 것이다. 국가경쟁력 제고는 국가경제의 중요한 관건이며, 이러한 경쟁력은 기술력에서부터 시작된다. 산학협동은 교육기관인 대학과 산업현장인 기업간의 협력을 말하는 것이며, 기업이 제공하는 현장을 대학에서 익히고 대학에서 개발한 기술을 기업에서 상품화하는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 이들간의 상호 보완과 이해의 폭을 넓히기 위해서는 실효성 있는 제도 및 지원시책이 완비되어야 한다. In modern industrial environment the technological advancement is accelerated and the need for joining of adjacent technologies are increased to make complex or melting technologies, hence it is almost impossible for each industry to develop by itself or to have core technologies. To maximize the effect of investment and to utilize developed technologies the necessity of the collaboration is claimed among industries, universities, research institutes and (local) government. Through the collaboration, resources and technologies which the institutes hold can be exchanged, utilized, and complemented each other to bring a synergy effect. Among those institutes, universities must play a key role. The most important factor to make the consortium successful would be the credibility among the participants. From the point of view of the small and medium sized industries, they have to create the maximum effect with least cost but also have to concentrate on their unique areas of technological development. For the universities, they have to have a strong willingness to make their research topic a useful results. The national competitiveness is a key factor for the national economy, and this competitiveness may be due to the technological achievement. To have the mutual complementation and understanding among the interest parties for the consortium, effective and realistic regulations and supporting polices or laws must be completed.
