With the increasing demand of high efficient machining, the high speed grinding is a new trend of machining process. In a short time we can increse metal removal rate with high speed grinding. But it is necessary to examine the effect of machining. The purpose of this study is to research the grinding temperature, grinding force and machined surface roughness when we grind steel with high speed.

The PHIS(Public Health Information System) has been developed, and installed in public health centers nationwide since 1994. Ironically, however, even though infrastructures have been modernized, there is scant published material that has investigated the determinants of success of the PHIS. Therefore, these were evaluated in relation to the concern of user satisfaction, which was composed of overall satisfaction, usability, convenience and satisfaction for the supportive system. These satisfaction factors were also compared according to general user characteristics. The questionnaire response rate was 81.5%. The overall satisfaction and total Likert's scores, 3.078±0.634 and 3.005±0.563, respectively, showed that the end-users were relatively satisfied with the PHIS. Also, the overall satisfaction correlated most strongly with the convenience attribute. However, dissatisfaction strongly correlated with the supportive system, i.e. education and training facilities. This article describes our progress, and reports on the lessons learned, which will guide future work in this field.
담수직파논 올챙이고랭이 발생밀도에 따른 경합 및 쌀 수량예측

본 시험은 2008년에 경상북도 농업기술원 벼 재배포장에서 최근 담수직파답에서 제초제 저항성 잡초로 가장 문제시 되고 있는 잡초 중 올챙이고랭이를 대상으로 잡초 밀도별 벼와의 경합력을 구명하고 Rectangular hyperbola 모델을 기초로 잡초의 밀도에 따른 쌀 수량 감소를 예측하여 경제적인 방제 필요수준을 구명하고자 실시하였다. 잡초를 완전 방제 했을 경우를 가상한 벼 수량은 올챙이고랭이에서 10a당 466kg으로 피의 457kg보다 다소 높았으며, 벼와 잡초의 경합력은 올챙이고랭이에서 0.00188로 피의 0.02402 보다 낮았고, 수량 예측식은 올챙이고랭이가 y = 466/(1+0.00188x), R² = 0.933, 피가 y = 458/(1+0.02402x), R² = 0.973로 나타났다. 제초제 구입 비용을 10a당 12,492원, 제초제 살포 인건비를 9,936원, 쌀의 가격을 kg당 2,000원, 제초제 방제가 95%로 적용하여 구한 경제적 피해 한계 밀도는 잡초 완전 방제시 수량이 10a당 466kg이고 잡초 1본당 수량 감수정도가 0.001884인 올챙이고랭이는 평방미터당 13.4본, 잡초 완전 방제시 수량이 458kg이고 잡초 1본당 수량 감수 정도가 0.02402인 피는 평방미터당 1.07본이었다. This study was conducted to predict the rice yield loss and determine the economic threshold levels for water direct seeded rice from competition of the most serious weeds, Scirpus juncoides Roxb. (bulrush) and Echinochlor crusgalli L. (barnyardgrass) in Daegu of Korea. To predict crop yield as a function of weed density used a rectangular hyperbola, and determine their economic threshold levels used the equation developed by Cousens. The rice yield loss model of S. juncoides was predicted as y = 466 / (1+0.00188x), R² = 0.933 and that of E. crusgalli was y = 458 / (1+0.02402x), R² = 0.973. In comparison of the competitiveness represented by parameter β, it was 0.001884 in S. juncoides and 0.02402 in E. crusgalli. Economic threshold calculated using Cousens" equation was negatively related to the competitiveness of weed. So that the economic threshold of S. juncoides was 13.4 and that of E. crusgalli was 1.07 plants per ㎡.

Generally, the properties of aggregate greatly affect the physical and mechanical properties of concrete. Flat and elongated particles in coarse aggregates, for some construction uses, may interfere with consolidation and be difficult to place. In this study, an experiment to evaluate properties of flat and elongated particles as coarse aggregate in concrete was conducted. The experiments include slump test, air content test and compressive strength test. The test result of slump and change of slump was rapidly decreased by percentage of flat and elongated particles. But it had not a trend by increasing percentage of flat and elongated particles. Compressive strength of hardened concrete does not make any differences in comparison.
