러시아 만화영화 「날으는 배」에 나타난 날으는 배의 기능

본 논문에서는 러시아 만화영화 「날으는 배」에서 날으는 배가 수행하는 기능에 대해 분석한다. 본 연구는 러시아 만화영화에 등장하는 주요 소재의 기능에 대해 충분한 연구가 진행되지 않았음에 주목하여 ‘날으는 배’라는 소재가 핵심적인 역할을 하는 만화영화인 「날으는 배」를 사례로 하여 소재의 기능에 대한 분석을 시도한다. 분석 결과 날으는 배라는 소재가 만화영화에서 수행하고 있는 기능은 사랑의 쟁취, 악에 대한 징벌, 그리고 미래를 향한 통로 등 세 가지인 것으로 파악하였다. 첫 번째 기능은 사랑의 쟁취로서 이는 자신이 날으는 배를 만들어오겠다고 제안한 이반을 통해 설정된다. 사랑을 쟁취하는 수단으로서의 날으는 배를 얻기 위한 노력에서 이반과 폴칸은 상이한 방식을 보인다. 두 번째 기능은 악에 대한 징벌로서 소극적인 선으로서의 이반과 대비되는 적극적인 악으로서의 폴칸의 죽음으로 나타난다. 이러한 결과에는 폴칸이 자초한 부분과 이반이 개입한 부분이 결부되어 있다. 마지막 기능은 미래로의 통로인데, 이는 두 주인공이 날으는 배를 타고 떠나가는 결말이나 이들이 반복하여 부르는 꿈에 대한 노래 등에서 드러난다. 또한 배를 날아가게 하는 주문 속에도 미래로의 전진이라는 의미가 포함되어 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 소재의 기능이 이야기 전체의 주제와 직결됨을 확인하였다. 즉 날으는 배가 이야기 속에서 수행하는 주요 기능인 사랑의 쟁취, 악에 대한 징벌, 그리고 미래로의 통로는 만화영화 「날으는 배」의 주요 테마인 순수한 사랑, 권선징악, 그리고 희망찬 미래에 대해 이야기하고 이를 실현시킨다. This paper analyzes the functions of the flying ship in the Russian animated film “The Flying Ship.” Paying attention to the fact that there has been little research on the function of the main material in Russian animated films, this study attempts to analyze the function of the main material in the case of “The Flying Ship,” an animated film where the material called “the flying ship” plays a pivotal role. It has been concluded that the main functions of the flying ship in the film are winning over love, reproval of vice, and passage to the future. The first function, winning over love, is set by Ivan who suggests that he will build a flying ship. In their attempts to obtain a flying ship as a means of winning over love, Ivan and Polkan show different approaches. The second function, reproval of vice, is realized as the death of Polkan, the active evil who is contrasted with Ivan, the passive good. This result is caused by Polkan himself and also by Ivan in some sense. The last function, passage to the future, reveals itself in the happy ending where the two main characters depart on the flying ship and in the song about hopes they repeat in this scene. In addition, the spell that makes the ship fly away implies the advance toward the future. This study confirms that the function of the material is directly linked to the theme of the whole story. More concretely, the main functions of the flying ship-winning over love, reproval of vice, and passage to the future-talk about and realize the main themes of the animated film “The Flying Ship,” namely pure love, the good triumphing over the evil, and hopeful future.

Disperse Dyeing of Nylon with Spironaphthoxazines and the Evaluation of the Photochromic Performance Using a Novel Photochromic Assessment Methodology

Herein, two spironaphthoxazine-based photochromic dyes are synthesized and their dyeing, fastness, and photochromicproperties on nylon fabric are investigated. A novel performance indicator, the photochromic efficiency index (PEI), is proposedto assess the photochromic performance of the synthesized spironaphthoxazine dyes. Using the PEI, the parametersaffecting dyeability and photochromic performance are optimized for efficient photochromic performance, and a pH of 9and temperature range of 80–90 °C are determined as the optimal dyeing conditions. Evidently, 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2.2]octane improves photocoloration efficiency by inhibiting thermal oxidative degradation via singlet oxygen quenching. Thedye containing a hydroxyl group achieves higher buildup and photochromic performance on the nylon fabric owing to itsincreased affinity in terms of polarity and hydrophilicity. The synthesized dyes exhibit reasonable buildup and photocolorationproperties on nylon fabric, in addition to excellent color fastness to washing, rubbing, and perspiration.

우월주의를 비판하는 바울의 의인(義認)론: 갈라디아서 2:15-21을 중심으로

This paper presents an investigation into the intention behind Paul's records in Galatians, his essential arguments in the paragraph, and the concepts and rhetoric methods he used for his arguments with a focus on Galatians 2:15-21. Paul puts an emphasis on “πίστις” in his letters with regard to “Justification” considered equal to salvation. In his controversy over theological causes and processes with those who emphasized “Justification” as a “works of Law” in the Galatian church, however, he puts an emphasis on the divine level and grace part of “πίστις.” Giving his own experiences as example in the process, he offers explanations about the methodological process and principle of “Jesus Christ's sincerity” behind believers' “Justification.” He raises questions about and refutes strongly the theological thinking process of his objectors and criticizes sharply “covenantal nomism” based on their Jewish supremacy, setting forth his theological ideas. Based on the core content of the argument paragraph, he declares war on his objectors and Galatian believers that are shaking by their instigation. 본고에서는 갈라디아서 2장 15절부터 21절까지의 단락을 중심으로 바울이갈라디아서에서 이 단락을 무슨 의도로 기록하였는지, 주장부 단락으로서 무엇을 핵심적으로 다루어 말하고자 하였는지, 그것을 위해 어떤 개념들을, 어떤 수사 방법을 이용했는지에 대해 연구하였다. 바울은 구원과 동일하게 여겨지는‘칭의’에 대해 그의 서신들에서 “πίστις”을 강조한다. 하지만 갈라디아 교회에나타난 ‘율법의 행위’로 인한 ‘칭의’를 강조하는 이들과 신학적인 원인, 과정을논쟁할 때, 그는 ‘πίστις’의 신적인 차원, 은혜적인 부분을 강조한다. 그리고 그는 그 과정을 자신의 경험을 예로 들면서 ‘예수 그리스도의 신실함’이 신자에게어떤 방법론적 과정으로, 어떤 원리로 작용하여 ‘칭의’에 이르게 하는지 설명한다. 바울은 반대자들의 신학적인 사고 과정에 의문을 던지면서 강하게 반박하고, 그들이 가지고 있는 우월주의에 기초한 ‘언약적 신율주의’를 강력히 비판하면서 자신의 신학적 사고를개진한다. 그는 주장부에서 할 수 있는 핵심적인 내용을 가지고 그들에게, 그리고 반대자들의 선동에 의해 흔들리고 있는 갈라디아 교인들에게 선전포고를한다.

There are multifarious characters in the Lukan birth narrative. And most of them have names. There are, by the way, plural characters who were unnamed associated with the birth of Jesus. They are shepherds. Why did Luke introduce them in the Jesus’ birth story? What is the purpose of Luke’s writing of the paragraph? This paper analyzes the Gospel of Luke regarding these questions and offers an answer from an explanation of the correlation between shepherds and Luke’s community members. In addition, I suggest a new approach to the interpretation of shepherds. As a result, I have argued that the symbol of shepherds is not only the lowest, messiah implication but also messengers. As a mirroring process that appears between members of Luke’s community and shepherds of this story, Luke announced that they were directly involved in the news of the birth of Jesus and gave them a mission to deliver the news, just like shepherds. 누가는 예수의 탄생 이야기를 다루면서 복수의 그리고 이름이 없는 등장인물을 등장시킨다. 그 인물들은 ‘목자들’이다. 누가는 ‘목자’라는 직업을 통해 예수와 다윗의 연결고리를 만들었고, 무명의 등장인물이라는 점을 통해 자신의 공동체와의 연결고리를 만들었다. 예수가 주인공인 이야기의 단순한 엑스트라가 아니라 예수와 관련된 소식, 즉 복음을 다른 이들에게 전하는 모습을 투영시킨 것이다. 누가는 목자들 이야기를 통해서 이스라엘이 고대해온 메시아 그리고 로마 황제에 필적할 만한 자로 예수를 기록하면서, 그런 예수와 관련된 소식을 전하는 자신의 공동체를 기술하고 있다. 이를 읽는 누가 공동체는, 혹은 이 말씀을 통해 교육받는 공동체는 복음 전파를 향한 강한 동기를 부여받게 될 것이다. 누가는 자신의 공동체가 가지고 있는 선교적 특성을 이 본문을 통해 강조하고자 했던 것으로 보인다.

국가 인권 위원회의 대학 채플 결정문에 대한 비판적 고찰 및 대안적 제안: 광주보건대학교 사례를 중심으로

On May 24th 2021, the National Human Rights Commission of Korea(NHRCK) released the recommendation on the case of Gwangju Health University in relation to the chapel class. In the recommendation, the NHRCK claims that the policy of the university that all students are required to take the class for their graduation violates students’ religious freedom. However, some problems should be noted in its recommendation. This article critically examines the recommendation and underlines limitations with regard to its logic, rationales, and decision. It seems to be originated from the NHRCK’s lack of understanding with regard to the chapel class in Christian universities. In that regard, the article proposes a robust understanding on the university chapel. Furthermore, this article offers some alternative proposals to evade misapprehension and unnecessary conflicts between Christian universities and NHRCK. 2021년 5월 24일 국가 인권 위원회는 보도자료를 통해 광주보건대학교 채플 의무 수강에 대한 결정문을 공개했다. 학교가 학생들에게 채플 수업을 의무수강하도록 하는 것은 종교의 자유를 침해하는 것이라 주장한 것이다. 그러나 이러한 인권위의 결정에는 많은 문제점이 발견된다. 본고는 광주보건 대학교 채플 관련 결정문을 비판적으로 살펴보면서 인권위의 최종판단의 근거 와 논리에 한계가 있음을 지적하고 이를 차례로 비판한다. 또한 채플과 예배에 대한 이해를 소개하면서 인권위의 채플 관련 판단은 이에 대한 몰이해로부터 기인하였음을 주장한다. 나아가 이번 광주보건대학교 채플 관련 인권위 사태 를 통해 불거진 인권위와 기독교 대학 사이 불필요한 오해와 마찰, 갈등을 피하기 위해 기독교 대학들이 채플을 운영하는데 필요한 몇 가지 대안, 종교교 육의 필요성 및 전반적 인식 공유, 종교교육의 전문화, 대체과목 개설과 개설시 유의사항의 내용들을 제시한다

신생민주주의 국가에서의 회고투표와 정치적 책무성: 2020년 몽골 제8회 국회의원선거를 중심으로

Making a vote decision based on retrospective evaluations of government is one of the ways to hold the government and representatives accountable in modern representative democracies. This retrospective voting theory has been extensively tested in established democracies, and is strongly supported. However the extant studies have paid little attentions to new democracies, especially new democracies in Asia. In this vein, this study empirically tests retrospective voting theory in Mongolia which has consolidated its democracy after the democratic transition from the communist regime. By conducting and analyzing the first election survey of Mongolia, this study finds that Mongolian voters vote retrospectively based on their sociotropic economic evaluations in the 2020 Mongolian Legislative election. This result implies that Mongolian voters, as voters in a new Asian democracy use their elections to hold their government and representatives accountable. 회고투표는 현대 대의민주주의에서 대표자들의 민주적 책무성을 담보하는 가장 좋은 방법 중 하나이다. 그동안 회고투표에 대한 연구는 서구 민주주의를 중심으로 폭넓게 검증되어 왔으나 신생민주주의 국가들에서는 상대적으로 적게 연구되어 왔다. 특히 아시아의 경우 한국, 대만, 일본을 제외하면 회고투표에 대한 연구는 거의 진행되지 않고 있다. 이러한 맥락에선 본 연구는 아시아에서는 유일하게 사회주의 국가에서 민주화를 이루어내고, 거의 30년 동안 민주주의를 유지 발전시키고 있는 몽골을 대상으로 유권자의 회고투표 행태를 경험적으로 검증하였다. 몽골 최초로 국회의원 선거 유권자 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 분석한 결과 2020년 제8회 몽골 국회의원 선거에서 몽골 유권자들은 국가경제에 대한 회고적 평가에 기초하여 총리와 집권당에 대한 정치적 지지를 결정하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 신생민주주의 국가인 몽골의 유권자들이 선거를 정치인들의 정치적 책무성을 담보할 수 있는 정치적 장치로서 활용 할 수 있음을 보여준다고 하겠다.
