          The Purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility and the effect of far infrared radiation sportswear on isokinetic trunk joint muscle strength in college male students. The subjects were 12 college male students who were all participated in isokinetic cybex test for placebo and experimental group. Experimental group got on far infrared radiation sportswear and placebo group got on regular sportswear for 15 hours a day during four days respectively. Statistical analysis were performed using analysis of variance t-test and paired t-test, accepting level for all significance was above α=0.05 and α=0.01.<BR>  The present data demonstrated that far infrared radiation sportswear does not lead to significant improvement peak torque, percentage of peak torque to body weight and average power in isokinetic trunk joint muscle strength.<BR>  These results suggest far infrared radiation sportswear is little effective for the improvement isokinetic trunk joint muscle strength and it is necessary to study the effect of ergogenic aids of far infrared radiation sportswear.

        소아비만환자의 24주 훈련지속과 훈련중지가 심장자율신경계 활성과 항산화효소 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of 24 week training and detraining on cardiac autonomic nervous system activity and antioxidant enzyme gene expression in obese children. We studied 16 boys with obesity and 19 age-matched normal weight controls during the 24 weeks of aerobic exercise training and 12 weeks of detraining. Measurements included body weight, % fat, BMI, TP, VLF, LF, GPX and SOD gene expressions. The results showed that there were differences in baseline TP, VLF, and LF between CO and obese group (p < .05). In TR and DT, the baseline VLF was lower than 12 and 24 week (p < .05). There were differences in baseline levels of GPX gene expression between CO and obese, while those of SOD were no differences between groups. After 24 weeks, the training-induced GPX and SOD gene expressions were increased. However, those did not change by detraining. In conclusion, these data suggested that aerobic exercise training over 12 weeks enhanced VLF and antioxidant gene expression in obese children, in addition we recommended cardiac autonomic nerve active and antioxidant gene expressions tend to maintain during 12 weeks detraining periods.

        요가운동 프로그램수행이 폐경 전,후 중년 여성의 카테콜아민과 성장호르몬에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 폐경전과 폐경후 중년여성을 대상으로 요가운동 프로그램수행이 호흡순환기능, 카테콜아민 그리고 성장호르몬에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 실시되었다. 연구 피험자들은 폐경전 그룹(n=7)과 폐경후 그룹(n=7)으로 무작위 추출에 의해 참여하였다. 모든 피험자들은 12주간, 주 3일, 일일 60분간 요가의 20가지 아사나(자세)를 최대산소섭취량의 60%에 해당되는 운동강도로 실시하였다. 피험자들의 혈액샘플은 안정시에 채혈하여, 그 즉시 혈장으로 분리하고 냉동 보관한 뒤 분석하였다. 그 결과 체중, 체질량지수, LDL콜레스테롤, 중성지방은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 감소하였으며, HDL콜레스테롤은 유의하게 증가하였다. 총 콜레스테롤은 폐경후 그룹에서만 유의하게 감소하였다. 또한 체중 당 최대산소섭취량은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 증가하였으며, 최대 환기량은 폐경전 그룹에서만 유의하게 증가하였다. 도파민은 폐경후 그룹에서만 유의하게 증가하였으나, 성장호르몬은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 12주간의 요가 운동 프로그램의 수행은 폐경 전과 폐경후 중년 여성들의 신체구성과 호흡순환기능의 향상은 물론 중추신경전달 호르몬의 분비에도 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 특히, 호르몬의 변화는 폐경 전 여성들보다 폐경후 여성들에서 더욱 효과적인 것으로 사료된다. 이는 폐경으로 인하여 일어난 중추신경 호르몬 감수성의 감소를 요가와 같은 운동을 통하여 중추신경계를 자극하므로써 향상시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of yoga exercise program on cardiopulmonary functions, catecholamine, and growth hormone in pre and postmenopausal middle aged women. The subjects of this study were divided into premenopausal group(n=7) and postmenopausal group(n=7) randomly. Both groups performed yoga exercise program for 60min as 60% of VO2max with 20 types of asana per day and 3 days a week for total 12weeks program. Blood samples of each subject were analyzed with affinity chromatography and serum. The results showed that weight, BMI, LDL-C, and TG of both groups decreased significantly(p<.05) and HDL-C increased significantly(p<.05). TC decreased significantly(p<.05) in only postmenopausal group. In cardiopulmonary functions, VO2max/kg of both groups enhanced significantly (p<.05). However, VEmax increased significantly(p<.05) in only premenopausal group. Dopamine only increased significantly(p<.05) in postmenopausal but growth hormone increased significantly (p<.05) in both groups. Therefore, 12weeks yoga exercise program affected improvement of body composition and cardiopulmonary functions as well as beneficial secretion of central neurotransmitter hormones in pre and postmenopausal middle aged women. Especially, as seeing the result of hormone alterations, postmenopausal women may effect more than premenopausal women. This results suggests that yoga exercise program may enhance sensitivity of reduced central neurotransmitter hormones on account of menopause as stimulation of central nervous system.

        최대하운동 후 종목에 따른 초등학교 운동선수들의 혈중 근손상지표 및 피로물질의 비교 분석

        The purpose of this study was for the analysis of LDH, CK, Lactate & Ammonia change of elementary school sports athletes according to sports entries. For the performance of this study, 30 athletes were chosen, there were divided into baseball player group(N=10), soccer player group(N=10) and basketball player group(N=10). Measurement was done before exercise, after submaximal exercise, recovery 1hr and recovery 24hr. In that result, it was shown that LDH & CK value at all groups increased significantly before exercise rather than after submaximal exercise and recovery 1hr. Lactate & Ammonia value increased significantly before exercise rather than after submaximal exercise and recovery 1hr. in baseball player group. soccer and basketball groups in Lactate & Ammonia value were only before exercise rather than after submaximal exercise.

        테이핑 처치에 따른 수중운동이 퇴행성 슬관절염 여성노인들의 하지근력, 통증척도 및 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was effects of aquatic exercise with knee taping to improved lower extremity muscle strength, bone mineral density, pain degree of elderly women with knee osteoarthritis. 30 elderly women with knee osteoarthritis were chosen, there were divided into taping exercise group(N=10), exercise group(N=10) and control group(N=10). Measured before exercise, after 6 weeks and after 12 weeks. It was shown that muscle strength, bone mineral density, pain degree at exercise(taping & non-taping) groups to improved significantly after 6, 12weeks rather than before exercise. And especially, taping exercise group increased rather than exercise group at pain degree. To synthesis this result, aquatic exercise program increased considerably muscle strength, bone mineral density, pain reduction in elderly women with knee osteoarthritis.

        자연과학 : 유산소 운동프로그램 참여가 소아,청소년 IDDM 환자의 항산화 유전자 발현과 지질, DNA 손상에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 소아ㆍ청소년 IDDM 남자 환자(DM군, n=10)와 건강한 남자 어린이(HT군, n=10)를 대상으로 12주간 유산소 운동프로그램 참여 전과 후의 지질 profiles, 항산화효소 유전자 발현, 그리고 산화물 생성의 차이를 비교하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 측정 시기는 훈련 전과 훈련 후 하였으며, 신장, 체중, 체지방, WHR, 혈압, 최대산소섭취량을 측정하였고, 혈중 지질 profiles, HbA1c, ox-LDL, DNA damage, total RNA를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 체질량지수(BMI), 체지방률, 최대산소섭취량은 그룹 간, 시기 간 차이가 없었다. 이완기 혈압은 HT군에 비해 DM군이 높게 나타났으며(p<.05), TC와 HDL-c, ox-LDL은 그룹 간, 시기 간 차이가 없었다. HbA1c는 DM군이 HT군에 비해 높았지만(p<.05), 트레이닝에 의한 변화는 나타나지 않았다. 항산화 효소 유전자 발현은 방어 기전에 따라 다른 양상을 보였으며, 조직손상과의 관계도 일관성을 보여주지 않았다. DNA damage는 트레이닝 후 DM군에서 유의한 증가가 나타났다(p<.05). 따라서, 항산화 방어역량이 약한 IDDM 환자에게 운동은 일시적인 DNA damage를 수반한다고 보지만, 트레이닝에 의해 일부 항산화 효소 유전자 발현이 증대될 수 있으며, 당화 Hb 개선을 위해선 역치수준 이상의 운동강도와 더불어 무산소성 트레이닝이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to compare the differences between before and after 12 week aerobic training on lipid profiles, antioxidant enzyme gene expressions, and oxidative products in children with IDDM. We therefore studied 20 children (age, 11.9±1.85 years; 10 boys) with IDDM and 10 age-matched healthy controls during 12 week of moderate intense running exercise. Blood samples for lipid profiles, HbA1c, ox-LDL, 8-OHdG, and total RNA were drawn before, and after training. There were no differences of BMI, body fat, and VO2 max between groups and periods. Also, there were no differences of TC, HDL-c, and ox-LDL between groups and periods. In IDDM, baseline DBP, and HbA1c was higher than that of controls(p<.05). And exercise-induced DNA damage peak occurred greater than control(p<.05). Antioxidant enzyme gene expression displayed different aspect according to antioxidant defense mechanism, and there was no consistency that related to tissue damages. Therefore, during or immediately after intense exercise, temporary alterations in the tissue damage occurred in children with IDDM who are at weakened antioxidant defence capacity. However, some kinds of antioxidant enzyme gene expressions magnitude by long term training, and anaerobic exercise include in training may help to improve the normalization of glycated Hb.

        고지방식이로 유도된 비만 마우스의 트레드밀 운동이 중추와 말초조직에서 ECS에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 고지방 식이로 유도한 비만 마우스를 대상으로 규칙적인 운동과 식이변화에 따른 중추와 말초 조직에서 Endocannabinoid system(ECS)의 주요 구성인자인 monoglyceride lipase(MGL), fatty acid amidohydrolase(FAAH)의 변화와 그 수용체의 활성수준을 살펴보고, 규칙적인 운동으로 인한 개선 효과를 분자 생물학적 차원에서 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 실험동물은 4주령 된 수컷 C57/black mouse 40마리를 분양 받아 CO군(control, n=10)과 HF군(high fat diet, n=30)으로 분류하여 45%의 고지방 식이를 이용하여 6주간 비만을 유도하였다. 비만유도 후 HF군(n=10), HFT군(HF+training, n=10), HFND군(HF → normal diet, n=10)으로 재분류하여, 8주간 경사도 0°의 조건에서 주 5일, 1일 40분씩 트레드밀 운동을 실시하였다. 그 결과 HF군, HFT군, 그리고 HFND군은 CO군에 비하여 체중이 유의하게(p<0.05) 증가 하였으며, 시상하부의 CB1과 복부내장지방의 FAAH가 CO군에 비하여, HF군, HFT군 그리고 HFND군에서 유의하게 높게(p<0.05) 나타났다. 따라서 지속적인 고지방식이로 식욕통제와 지방대사에 악영향을 미치는 시상하부의 CB1과 복부내장지방의 FAAH가 증가하였음을 발견하였다. 8주간의 트레드밀 운동은 ECS에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못하였으며, 식이변화 역시 ECS에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 따라서 향후 연구에서는 운동의 시너지 효과가 나타날 수 있는 고지방식이에서의 식이변화와 운동을 복합 처치한 디자인의 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. This study was to investigate the effects of regulatory treadmill exercise on endocannabinoid system of adipose tissue and hypothalamus in high fat diet induced obesity mice. The adopted subjects of this study were 40 heads of four week old C57/black mice. Induced obesity through 6 weeks of a high fat diet while the other group were fed with a normal diet. After 6 weeks, all study mice were classified into 4 groups which were the control group(CO, n=10), high fat diet(HF, n=10), high fat diet-training(HFT, n=10), high fat diet-normal diet(HFND) groups. Treadmill running was performed during 40 minutes, 5 times a week for 8 weeks. The HF, HFT, HFND groups showed significantly(p<0.05) increased in body weight and significantly(p<0.05) higher CB1 receptor of the hypothalamus and FAAH of adipose tissue than CO group. Therefore, we found that the increase in CB1 receptor of the hypothalamus and FAAH of adipose tissue which is effects on the control of appetite and fat metabolism by continued high fat diet. However, treadmill training for 8 weeks and dietary changes did not have a positive impact on ECS system. Thus, in the future research, it is thought that the study will be needed showing the synergistic effect of exercise through combined treatment of dietary change and exercise in high fat diet.

        초등학교 야구투수들의 숙련도에 따른 반복투구가 혈중 근손상지표와 피로물질에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was for the analysis of LDH, CK, Lactate & Ammonia change of elementary school baseball pitcher according to increasing the number of pitching. For the performance of this study, 14 baseball pitchers were chosen, there were divided into trained group(N=7) and non-trained group(N=7) randomly. Measurement was done before pitching, after 3 inning, after pitching, recovery 1hr and recovery 24hr. In that result, it was shown that LDH value at trained & non-trained groups increased significantly in all pitching period, and recovery period increased than before pitching. CK value increased significantly in all period. Especially trained group was not recovered even after post 24hr. Lastly, Lactate & Ammonia increased significantly in all pitching period, and recovery period decreased. To synthesis this result, it was shown for elementary school baseball pitcher when they pitched that LDH, CK, lactate & ammonia value increased considerably according to increasing the number of pitching.

        야구투수들의 투구 구질에 따른 상지근육의 EMG 변화

        The purpose of this study is in the comparison & analysis of EMS change of upper limbs according to pitching variation of baseball pitcher. And 5 pitchers from university baseball were selected as the subject of this study. pitching variation was measured pitching fast ball, curve, slider & change-up in 3 phases of measurement. Firstly, as for the EMG value, in arm cocking phase, no significant difference was shown in 4 kinds of change in pitching variation among muscle, and in arm acceleration phase, there was significant decrease at extensor carpi radialis & flexor carpi radialis in curve & change-up rather than fast ball. Lastly, in arm decceleration phase, the significant decrease was shown at deltoid, extensor carpi radialis & flexor carpi radialis in curve & change-up rather than fast ball. From this result, it was shown that there is a tendency toward significant decrease in forearm muscles that other muscles at pitching change ball, and toward no significant difference in fast ball and slider in the all muscles.
