한국과 중국의 국가수준 유아교육과정 비교분석: 2019 개정 누리과정, 3-6세 아동학습 및 발달지침 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 한국과 중국의 국가수준 유아교육과정을 비교 분석하여 양국이 지향하는 유아교육의 방향을 가늠해보고, 향후 유아교육과정 개선에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다. 연구대상은 한국의 2019 개정 누리과정과 중국의 3-6세 아동학습 및 발달지침이며 교육과정 구성체계, 목적 및 목표, 영역별 내용 범주와 내용, 교육과정 특징으로 비교하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 누리과정과 발달지침의 교육과정은 각국의 독자적인 특성을 반영한 유사한 구성체계를 가지고 있다. 둘째, 누리과정의 목적은 올바른 인성과 민주 시민의 기초를 형성하는 데 있으며, 발달지침의 목적은 소양 교육과 전인 발달에 강조를 두고 있다. 셋째, 누리과정과 발달지침의 영역별 내용은 각국의 5개 영역별 명칭은 다르나 의미와 내용은 영역별로 매칭되는 특성을 보였다. 넷째, 누리과정과 발달지침 교육과정 특징은 국가수준의 공통성과 다양성, 유아 중심과 놀이 중심의 가치 추구, 5개 영역별 내용이 통합적 운영, 함께 실현하는 교육과정 4가지 공통점으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to make a comparative analysis of the national level early childhood education curriculum in South Korea and China and to measure the direction of early childhood education in the two countries, so as to provide basic data for the improvement of early childhood education curriculum in the future. The objects of this study were the Nuri curriculum revised in 2019 in South Korea and the Guideline to the Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6 in China. The comparisons were made in the aspects of composition system, aims and objectives, content category, and specific content in various fields and educational curriculum characteristics of early childhood education curriculum in the two countries. The results show that, first, the Nuri curriculum and Guideline educational curricula have similar compositional systems that reflect each country’s own characteristics. Second, the purpose of the Nuri curriculum is to lay the foundation for proper personality and democratic citizenship, while the purpose of the Guideline is to emphasize quality education and the all-around development of young children. Third, although the names and contents of the five fields in Nuri curriculum and Guideline are different, the meanings and contents of each field are matched by fields. Fourth, the common characteristics of the Nuri curriculum and Guideline are reflected in the following 4 aspects: commonness and diversity at the national level, child-centered and play-centered value pursuit, comprehensive operation of five fields, and joint realization of the curriculum.
