Recently, focus has been drawn on natural refrigerants due to increasing concern on global warming. As a consequence, CO2 systems such as a heat pump water heater using CO2 as a refrigerant are rapidly growing on the market. Currently, rolling piston rotary compressors are widely used for CO2 heating and/or refrigeration systems. There are several ways of realizing gas compression structure. They are single stage compression with single cylinder, single stage compression with two cylinders, and two stage compression with two cylinders. In this paper, computer simulation program which was validated for a single stage rotary compressor with one cylinder has been extended for a single stage, two cylinder rotary type. Numerical investigation has been made on optimal design for the cylinder configuration using the extended simulation program. For a single stage two cylinder rotary compressor having a displacement volume of 4 cc for each cylinder, compressor efficiency has been found to be maximum when the cylinder radius and height are 31mm and 10mm, respectively.

본 논문은 비행 중 비행제어법칙을 전환함으로써 실험 대상 비행제어법칙을 검증할 수 있는 비행제어법칙 전환시스템 개발에 관한 논문이다. 본 연구를 통하여 제어법칙 간 전환에 따른 천이응답을 최소화하기 위한 페이더 설계 및 대기 모드 상태에 있는 비행제어법칙의 적분기 안정화 설계가 도입되었다. 두 개의 제어법칙 간 데이터 통신은 1553 통신 방식을 채택하였다. 본 논문은 개발된 비행제어법칙 전환시스템의 구조 및 주요 개념 설계 연구 및 고등훈련기급의 비행성 평가 시뮬레이터를 이용한 시스템 검증 결과를 포함한다. This paper deals with a development of flight control law switching system which can be used for flight test of the research control law by switching control law during flight. Through this research program, fader logic and integrator stabilization design has been introduced to minimize the transient response of aircraft caused by flight control law switching and to prevent the divergence of the integrator included in the control law in standby mode. MIL-STD-1553B communication was applied to transfer the data between the two control laws. This paper introduce the control law switching system architecture and major design concept and include the system verification and validation result performed on the flying quality simulator of the advanced trainer.

The purpose of this study is to find out effective ways to improve the operation of EEG Laboratory room. In order to attain this purpose the present status of the rooms`` organization, staff, facilities and performance was surveyed with structured checklist. And also the staff`` s opinion on the problems and improving strategies of EEG Laboratory room was surveyed with structured questionaire. The survey was conducted in 140 general hospitals with EEG room of which 73 hospitals`` data were collected successfully. The data were analyzed by frequencies percentages and x 2 test with SPSS computer program. The major findings of this study were as follows. 1. The average number of EEG rooms are 1.21 of tatal 1.19 of university hospitals and 1.33 of general hospitals. And the average area of EEG rooms is 3.75 pyong(3.3 pyong makes 1m2 ) of total, 3.96 pyong of university hospitals and 3.61 pyong of general hospitals. 2. The average number of EEG lab cases are 1,240 of total 1,659 of university hospitals and 1,111 of general hospitals, while average number of lab items are 4.33 of total, 5.22 of university hospital and 4.06 of general hospitals. 3. The staff of EEG laboratorv rooms are relatively satisfied with .iob itself such as interesting in, achivement of the job. 4. The problems to be solved in priority are inadeguacy of facilities which 22% of respondents suggested and scale of manpower which 11% of respondents suggested, while only 7% of the respondents suggested quality of lab is regquired to be improved. On the basic of these results, this study suggests that hospital administrations would improve the manpower and physical resources of EEG rooms rather than quality level of lab. Taking the importance of EEG lab for patient care into consideration, more investment is required to improve the operation of EEG Laboratoy Room in general hospitals.
방향성 전기 강판을 적용한 고고도 장기체공 무인 항공기용 외전형 방식 표면 부착형 영구자석 동기전동기의 성능 분석

This paper deal with the performance analysis of the outer-rotor surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor applied grain-oriented electrical steel (GO). GO is a steel manufactured to facilitate magnetization in the rolling direction of the steel sheet. It has outstanding magnetic properties in the rolling direction. On the other hand, it shows rather low magnetic properties in the transverse direction. In this paper, the GO was applied to stator teeth area with a relatively constant magnetic flux direction. Analysis of the characteristics according to the connection size of the GO and the load, no-load analysis was performed through finite element analysis. As a result of the analysis, the average torque was increased, the torque ripple was decreased, and the efficiency was increased due to the iron loss reduction in the load analysis. In addition, the no-load analysis showed a decrease in total harmonic distortion and cogging torque. Therefore, if the GO is used in an appropriate position in which the magnetic flux direction is considered, it is expected to be applied to various applications to show superior performance.

In this paper, a rolling piston rotary compressor having a combined vane and roller unit has been introduced. In a conventional rotary compressor, sliding motion takes place between the vane nose and roller. By combining the vane and the roller in one unit, gas leakage through a clearance between the vane nose and the roller can be eliminated, and the frictional loss between them can also be reduced to almost nought. Compressor model with the combined vane and roller has been fabricated and tested in a compressor calorimeter and computer simulation program has been developed to confirm merits of the new mechanism. In a test, cooling capacity has been found to be increased by 1.4%, and the compressor input decreased by 0.3%, resulting in 1.7% increased in EER. Simulation program confirmed the calorimeter test results and the merits of the new model as mentioned above.

This paper introduces conceptual design of scroll expander-compressor unit for fuel cell. Since air discharged out of the fuel cell stack after reaction has still high pressure energy, some power can be extracted out of it by directing it to pass through an expanding device so that the extracted power can be used to drive an auxiliary compressor. For this purpose, a scroll type expander coupled to a scroll type compressor was designed: orbiting scroll of the expander and that of the compressor were made to share three of common drive pins installed in the mid frame plate, and central cavity in the mid-plate was used as a back pressure chamber to provide axial compliance for both orbiting scrolls. Performance analysis for the expander showed that the shaft power of the expander could reduce the auxiliary power consumption in the fuel cell by about one third at the scroll clearance of 10㎛.
