      • CdTe 박막제작과 그 광전특성

        Devices of ITO/CdS/CdTe/Te/Al were prepared by Electron-Beam deposition under a vacuum of 2×10^-6[torr]. Optical, Electrical, Structual and Photovoltaic properties of thin film CdS/CdTe at substrate temperature 300~500[℃] were also investigated. The structure of CdTe films deposited was of the zincblende type a preferential orientation of the (111) plane parallel to the substrate. the CdTe dark resistivity was about 10^6[Ω㎝]. The conversion efficiency of the cell increased with increasing substrate temperature. The best-fabricated Cell was a conversion efficiency of 9.1[%].

        실시간 신호처리를 위한 가변구조 Data Acquisition Buffer의 구조를 갖는 DSP평가용 System.

        일반 DSP들은 새로운 algorithm 및 응용 system의 개발을 위해서 전용 development system 및 simulator가 필수 불가결의 요소이다. 그러나 대부분 development system은 일반화된 내부 구조에 의해 그 유연성에 한계가 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 A/D입력과 D/A출력 data를 저장하는 buffer의 길이를 program에 의해 1 sample 단위부터 최대 2K sample 단위까지 가변할 수 있도록 하고, 이들 buffer도 2중 구조로 하여 연속 신호의 처리가 가능도록 한 DSP평가용 system을 개발하였다. For developing new algorithms or dedicated hardware by using general purpose Digital Signal Processor chip, emulator H/W and simulator S/W are indispensible. But the most of DSP emulators have limitations on H/W flexibility according to their generalized architectures. In this paper, a DSP evaluation system for real time signal processing was developed using TMS 32020. The I/O buffers storing acquisition data of the system were designed to have variable length $(1\sim2048samp1es) &$ sampling frequency $l00\sim8KHz$.

      • Cascade 협대역 적응 빔 형성기와 Escalator 협대역 적응 빔 형성기의 성능비교에 관한 연구

        A narrow-band adaptive beamforming algorithm is presented which can be used to separate the desired signal from the interference when the desired signal and interference have the same frequency range in the spatial domain. The basic structure of the proposed beamformer is based on the Generalized Sidelobe Canceller(GSC) which satisfies the linearly constrained condition proposed by Frost. Simulation carries out to compare the performance of the narrow-band beamformer using the cascade narrowband beamformer and Esscalator narrowband beamformer under several condition. It is shown that each beamformer decided optimization with a number of sensors.

        New many system based on broadcasting and communication will be able to take a more useful and fast informations around out lifestyle. But ship, airplane and car never use the application of the cable communication system and also have a weak point of receiving qualitics using convennntional V/UHF TV broadcasting. One of typically case of mobile systems, a ship has been isolated long time during the navigation. However, For the last couple of years, the DBS have been proposed very useful systrm to access the broading service in more widely sea. But the antenna tracking system for maritime DBS receving is required complicated control system because of the those complex motion represented pitching, yowing and rolling etc. In our research, we have developed the antenna tracking system for receving in mobile.

      • 소음환경에서의 단독음 인식에 관한 연구

        This thesis investigates the noise robustness of four LPC based spectral matching measures applied to the problem of speech recognition. The spectral matching measures of interest include Log Likelihood Ratio, cepstral distance measure, spectral slope distance measure and weighted cepstral distance measure. In order to evaluate the recognition performance of the distance measure for noisy speech. speaker independent and speaker dependent isolated word recognition test in vehicle noise environments were carried out. The references are generated using the speech signals recorded in a relatively silent laboratory environments. The experimental results show that Log Likelihood Ratio is the best for clean speech and spectral slope distance measure is the most robust for the speech signal corrupted by vehicle noise. Weighted cepstral distance measure has shown stable recognition rate for the variation of decision rules and number of reference pattern.

        온-라인 모니터링 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

        산업현장의 기계장치나 실내·외 그리고 해양 등과 같은 주위 환경의 데이터를 원거리의 중앙 컴퓨터에 전송하여 그 상태를 확인하여 해석하고, 해석된 데이터를 바탕으로 이상 유무 등을 판별하여 시스템의 최적 동작을 위한 시스템 명령 등을 Network나 유·무선 통신을 이용하여 전달하는 온-라인 모니터링 시스템이다. 본 연구는 온-라인 모니터링 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 염산 수조의 온도를 원격지의 중앙 컴퓨터에서 제어하는 시스템으로써 모니터링부, 무선송신부, 온도콘트롤부로 이루어진 실험 장치를 구성 하였다. 본 시스템을 응용하면 재난 재해방지 시스템, 경보 시스템과 같은 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)시스템에 적용이 가능하다. This paper is for the on-line monitoring and controlling system in which remote central processor execute commands based on data transmitted via radio or cable captured from the industrial or marine environments. By executing the appropriate system commands, many mechanical parts in industrial environments and natural factors such as temperature and humidity are to be under control in the way of normal system condition. In this research, we control the temperature of a hydrochloric acid tank to be within the predetermined range by executing temperature controlling commands issued by remote central computer which decides the appropriate action for the total system based on the received sensor data transmitted via radio and cable media. This type of monitoring and controlling system has the various applications such as the disaster prevention system, ubiquitous embedded system, alarm system, and the USN systems.

        HMM with Global Path constraint in Viterbi Decoding for Insolated Word Recognition

        상태 지속 밀도를 사용하는 hidden Markov Models(HMM/SD)은 음성 신호의 시간적인 변화를 보다 명확하게 나타낼 수 있다 그러나 상태 지속 밀도가 완만하거나 제한된 상태가 길면 이러한 장점은 감소된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 상태간의 천이가 특정한 시간 구간에서만 발생하도록 하는 전에 경로 제한 조건을 갖는 HMM/GPC를 제한한다. HMM/GPC는 상태 지속을 제한하고 음성 신호의 시간적 변화를 단순하고 효과적으로 표현할 수 있다. 또한 HMM/SD와 HMM/GPC를 결합한 새로운 형태의 HMM/SD+GPC를 제안하고 성능을 비교하였다. HMM/GPC는 기존 Viterbi 알고리즘을 약간 수정하여 구현될 수 있다. HMM/GPC와 HMM/SD+GPC는 기존 HMM과 HMM/SD에 비하여 우수한 성능을 보일 뿐만아니라 계산량도 매우 작다. 화자도립 단독음 인식 실험에서, HMM/GPC(1.6%)의 최소 오차는 기존 HMM보다 1.1% 낮았고 계산량도 57% 감소하였다. Hidden Markov Models (HMM's) with explicit state duration density (HMM/SD) can represent the time-varying characteristics of speech signals more accurately. However, such an advantage is reduced in relatively smooth state duration densities or ling bounded duration. To solve this problem, we propose HMM's with global path constraint (HMM/GPC) where the transition between states occur only within prescribed time slots. HMM/GPC explicitly limits state durations and accurately describes the temproal structure of speech simply and efficiently. HMM's formed by combining HMM/GPC with HMM/SD are also presented (HMM/SD+GPC) and performances are compared. HMM/GPC can be implemented with slight modifications to the conventional Viterbi algorithm. HMM/GPC and HMM/SD_GPC not only show superior performance than the conventional HMM and HMM/SD but also require much less computation. In the speaket independent isolated word recognition experiments, the minimum recognition eror rate of HMM/GPC(1.6%) is 1.1% lower than the conventional HMM's and the required computation decreased about 57%.
