        When building a structure on soft clayey ground, in order to secure the stability of structure and to control the settlement of clayey ground(immediately, consolidation and creep settlements) caused by the applied structure loads, the ground improvement methods are performed. In these methods, DCM(Deep Cement Mixing) method have used frequently to reinforce of soft ground and to control of lateral displacement. Thus, soil foundation improved by DCM would be different their behavior and displacement by arrangement types of improved soil body and loading direction, even if being with same improvement ratios. But related studies had been rare up to now. Therefore, this study aimed at analysing stress-strain behavior of soil foundation improved by DCM method with its different arrangement types(wall and pile types). In this study, to clarify the applicability of used FEM model, laboratory model ground tests and numerical analyses based on 3-dimensional Elasto-Plastic Constitutive equation were carried out. Then, the applicability of numerical analysis model was checked by comparing model test with numerical analysis.

        의과대학 교육 과정에서 아동학대 교육의 요구도

        Objectives : This study aimed to examine current educational experiences, knowledge, intention to report, and requests for child abuse education in medical interns. Methods : A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2006 and 2007. The study sample consisted of 193 medical interns who served their internships at the university hospital. They answered 11 self-administered questionnaires related to child abuse. Results : Although respondents indicated a strong will to assist in eradicating abuse of children, about 90% had no educational experiences and knowledge of child abuse. Ignorance was a major factor for low reported cases of abused children. The preferred nominated reporting agency for child abuse was the National Child Protection Agency in 47.9% of female respondents, while 48.3% of males nominated Police Stations as their preferred option. In relation to sexual abuse, Police Stations were the preferred reporting agency by 49.2% of males and 37.0% of females. Medical school curricula were chosen by the majority of interns as the most appropriate stage where child abuse education should be introduced. Conclusion : This study found that medical graduates had limited experience and knowledge related to child abuse. The medical school curricula for child abuse needs to be further developed, implemented, and evaluated when appropriate.

      • GPS에 의한 측지학적 위치결정을 위한 좌표변환에 관한 고찰

        When we apply 3-D positioning results by GPS to Korean datum, it is essential to transform WGS 84 of GPS into Bessel geoidetic system. This paper is the study the method for solving such a transformation. GPS surveying was attempted at 7 precise primary control stations and 7 bench marks. Precision of coordinate transformation was compared with 7-parameter method, Molodensky method and MRE method. From these, the method that is more applicable to Korea is proposed. 7-parameter method is more precise than other methods and height accuracy was improved by applying Geoid model. Therefore to transform 3-D coordinates, latitude, longitude and height, effectively, it is desirable to use 7-parameter method which we considered Geoid model.

      • 격자 DEM과 TEN자료를 이용한 경사도 비교분석에 관한 연구

        The appearance of Geographic Information System made a management of spatial information more dasily. Recently, it is possible to model accurately physical process about complex the land surface environment. The slope analysis for a hydrology analysis in basin is an improtant parameter. Generally, a slope analysis using GIS can be applied with grid structure DEM and TIN. In study, we input a contour line ever 20 meters in a map of scale 1: 50000 and analyze the slope with grid structure DEM and TIN. AS a result of the slope analysis using two data structures, it is descibed that the maximum of grid DEM is 60.60˚and TIN is 89.92˚,while the minimum slope is 0˚. Also,the mean slope is described to the same one.

        History of Korean surveying was long and its achievement was esellent. Korean surveying was developed by Japanese after Korea-Japan unification and by Koreans themselves after libration. Conventional geocetic network was reconstructed and recovered for corrected mapping and surveying works. So in this study, Korean surveying assignment assessed regarding to history of Korean surveying during one hundred years. Also surveying importance is recognized by various surveying fields and surveying works are keep up with international society establishing new coordinate system.

        A watershed terrain factor is known to the very important in studies of a stream and a watershed. We have obtained the terrain factor in map directly or we have generated it in a digitalized map. In this study, DTED(Digital Terrain Elevation Data) offering in DMA(Defense Mapping Agency) was used to create a stream and a watershed and to extract the terrain factor. As comparison of the terrain factors gererated in digitalized map with the terrain factors extracted in DTED, DTED could be used to extract a terrain factor for a watershed management.

        The scope of this study is to provide the updating methods for digital maps based on completion drawing, The digital map had been produced in 1995 has been passed more than 3 years, so it would be down grade in usability because of old data.Therefore for the new stable and systematic supply of topographic information, it would be needed updating of digital map. In this study, it was tried to experimentally judge the ease and cost of the completion drawing on the mapping polices of other advanced countries, the update methods of paper maps.And we conducted an experiment on the updating of digital maps based on the completion drawing.Finally, we suggest the strategies for updating methods and other renewing method of digital maps.
