Improving the load efficiency of parking brake cable is an important factor to gain sufficient parking brake force and good operating feel and makes it possible to design simple lever structure, so it has consistently been improved with efforts of designing simple cable layout on the vehicle. In this paper, experiments were carried out to evaluate the load efficiency with several types of cable, based on the standard vehicle cable layout. From the test result, this paper proposes the best parking brake cable specification and the method of minimizing the balance deviation between LH & RH parking operation by comparing the cable load efficiency before and after cable durability test.

Recently, carbon-free fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia have received strong attention as a method to effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Ammonia, one of the carbon-free fuels, has some economic advantages over hydrogen, but using the pure ammonia gas turbine is limited because of its combustion characteristics, such as low reactivities and high Prompt NOx emissions. In this study, the characteristics of ammonia/air-premixed flame and the effects of turbulent flows were analyzed through Numerical Simulation.
