This study aims to show the guideline to select optimal anti-vibration gloves for specific power tools to prevent hazardous vibration to human body. It is most desirable for the correct evaluation of handtransmitted vibration form the power tool handle to measure the acceleration between the handle surface and the hand palm as recommended in ISO 5349-1. First, the accurate acceleration measurement device was developed of which the thickness and weight were less than 6 mm and 12 g respectively so that it can be placed between the handle and the palm without any inconvenience during the measurement. Finally, using the device we estimated anti-vibration glove performances considering the frequency characteristics of generated vibration by the power tool.

생활수준의 향상으로 실내용 가전제품 개발의 초점은 제품의 성능 뿐 아니라 소음, 디자인과 같은 요소에 맞추어지고 있다. 청소기는 가전제품 중, 큰 소음을 발생시킴으로써 소음 감소를 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 따라서 청소기의 체감 소음 측정 방법에 대한 연구는 청소기 소음 제어에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문에서는 청소기 체감 소음 측정을 위하여 청각 시스템을 기반으로 객관적 음질 특징을 제시한다. 인간의 청각 시스템은 특정 주파수 대역에 민감하게 반응하므로, 청각에 민감한 주파수 대역의 소음에너지를 줄이는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 녹음된 소음의 특정 주파수 영역의 평균 에너지를 계산하여 이를 청소기 음질 측정을 위한 새로운 객관적 특징 값으로 제시한다. 제시하는 객관적 특징 값의 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 14개 청소기의 소음을 녹음한 후, 100명을 대상으로 PCM 및 ACR 주관적 평가 법을 실시하여 주관적 점수를 획득하였다. 제시하는 객관적 특징 값은 주관적 점수와 높은 상관관계를 보여준다. In this paper, we propose an objective quality feature which is based on the human auditory system to measure vacuum cleaner noise. It is observed that some frequency bands are more sensitive to the human auditory system. Therefore, we divided the audible frequency range of vacuum cleaner noise into a number of frequency bands and the average energy of these bands was calculated. Among a number of average energies, an average energy of a frequency band was selected as the proposed feature. In order to test the performance of the proposed feature, fourteen vacuum cleaners were chosen and the noise was recorded in an anechoic-chamber. Then we performed subjective tests to obtain subjective scores of the noise data using the PCM (paired comparison method) and ACR (absolute category rating) subjective methods. The proposed objective quality feature shows high correlation with the subjective scores.
공사장에서의 건설장비의 음향파워 및 지향지수 특성 분석

The construction noise has been one of the main issues in environment pollution area. It causes most complaints from the people around construction sites and leads to ever strict regulations to reduce. Main source is the noise from various machines in operation under many different conditions. To build proper measure to reduce construction noises, acoustic data such as sound powers and direction indices are required for each machines. Since sound power data for construction machineries were not available, a rough estimation from sound pressure level at certain distance from a machine has been used until recently. In this study, sound power and direction indices are evaluated and analyzed for eight kinds of construction machineries under various working conditions by measuring equivalent sound pressure levels at the construction site according to ISO 6395. This results will be used for noise prediction for a residential area nearby construction site.

The Norwegian coastal area is the most efficient region for fishery production in the world`s oceans, the Norway is the world`s top 10 fisheries countries through efficient fishing and fishing aquaculture technology and its scientific management of fisheries bio-resources. with Norwegian salmon having attained the world`s highest level. In the late I 980s, fisheries resources were depleted due to over fishing and fish diseases, resulting in a crisis in the fishing industry that lasted until the early l990s. Since the national fishery emergency, people involved in the fishing industry, including fishermen, research scientists, and government officers, have tried to overcome the challenges facing the industry and identify an appropriate management model for fisheries bio-resources in the Norwegian coastal area. First, research vessels were used to monitor water and sediment conditions and fishery species, with the long-tem aim of predicting fishery resources in real time and collecting information on species diversity, abundance, and distribution. Second. a “Healthy Fish Project” was promoted to counter natural disasters and fish disease problems with the development of vaccines against viruses and bacteria, eventually allowing for a decrease in the use of antibiotics and the production of notably healthier fish in the 2000s. Third, a systematic management model was developed to help with preparations for decreases in the total number of fishermen and increases in the proportion of elderly fishermen in the fishery industry using the development of automatic fishing aquaculture systems and short-chain systems. We could learn from the Norwegian model of fisheries bio-resources, management and could adopt it for the preparation of fishery hio-resources management policy for South Korean coastal areas in the near future.
