        애착 외상과 데이트 폭력 피해의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과

        본 연구는 애착 외상과 데이트 폭력 피해의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 데이트 경험이 있는 성인 미혼 남녀 363명을 대상으로 아동기 외상 질문지 단축판(CTQ-SF), 갈등관리 척도-2(CTS-2), 사회적 지지 척도를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 조절효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 주요 변인들의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 여성이 남성에 비해 애착 외상의 하위요인 중 정서적 학대를 높게 보고했고, 다른 변인들에는 유의한 성차가 없었다. 둘째, 상관분석을 통해 알아본 결과, 애착외상과 사회적 지지, 사회적 지지와 데이트 폭력 피해는 각각 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 셋째, 애착 외상과 데이트 폭력 피해와의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 완충적인 조절효과가 확인되었다. 이는 아동기에 외상을 경험하였다 할지라도 사회적으로 지지받을 수 있는 체계가 있다면, 데이트 폭력 피해라는 부정적 결과를 감소 시킬 수 있음을 보여준다. 위의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of social support on the relationship between attachment trauma and the victimization of dating violence. For this purpose, 363 adult unmarried men and women completed measures of Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form(CTQ-SF), The Revised Conflict Tactics Scales(CTS-2), and Social Support Scale. Structural equation modeling(SEM) was used for testing of the moderating effect. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, Gender difference was significant in one variable. Women reported higher emotional abuse than men. Second, there was a significant positive correlation among attachment trauma and the victimization of dating violence. Also, social support showed significant negative correlations with attachment trauma and the victimization of dating violence. Third, social support was found to be a significant moderator between attachment trauma and the victimization of dating violence. This study suggests that attachment trauma can be a risk factor to increase the victimization of dating violence, and high level of social support can be a buffer to lower the victimization of dating violence. Based on the above results, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed along with suggestions for further research.

        쥐를 대상으로 한 산화 스트레스와 근육 발달 연구에서 동일 강도의 자발적 운동과 강제적 운동의 효과 차이 연구

        The aim of this study is to clarify the physiological effects from these two different ways of aerobic exercise methods in various parameters. Thirty male rats(20 wks old) completed 6 wks of exercise. The wheel exercise was performed with counting of rotations then their total working distance(apprx 400 m/day) was applied same to treadmill exercise. To measure the oxidative stress level, rats were decapitated right after he daily exercise bout. Plasma samples were used for determination of Reactive Oxygen Metabolites(d-ROMs) and Biological Antioxidant Potential(BAP) test. To compare muscle properties, we extracted five muscles(soleus, plantaris, Extensor Digitorum Longus(EDL), Flexor Hallucis Longus(FHL), Tibialis Anterior(TA)) and then measured each muscle weight and the enzyme activity of Citrate Synthase(CS), especially in plantaris. There was no significant difference in d-ROMs test, however, in the BAP test, treadmill and wheel groups showed higher value than control group(p<.05). There were no significant differences in muscle weight. In CS activity, both exercise groups showed significant increase, but no significant difference between these two groups(p<.05). Wheel group showed the highest value between groups. Even though most of results showed no significant difference, the pattern in muscles morphology, oxidative stress, and aerobic exercise capacity may show slight difference. From these results, we have to consider the difference between ways of exercise according to the target variables and the purpose of research properly.

        Effect of Salicornia herbacea L. Supplementation on Tissue Triglyceride Concentrations and PGC-1α & PPAR-γ Expression of Skeletal Muscle of Rats Fed a High-fat Diet

        본 연구는 함초의 보충식이가 고지방식이 흰쥐의 혈청 및 조직의 중성지방 농도와 골격근 내 PGC-1α와 PPAR-γ 단백질 발현에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. SD계 수컷 흰쥐를 대조군(CD, n=8), 고지방식이군(HD, n=8), 고지방식이+ 5% 함초 보충식이군(SD, n=8)으로 분류하여 8주간 사육하였다. 그 결과 SD군의 지방조직 중량은 HD군에 비해 약 25%정도 유의하게 감소한 반면 골격근의 중량은 SD군이 HD군에 비해 약 5%정도 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). SD군의 혈청과 간장 내 중성지방은 HD군에 비해 약 20% 유의하게 감소하였다(p<0.05). SD군의 골격근 내 PGC-1α 와 PPAR-γ 단백질 발현은 HD군에 비해 1.5배 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<0.01). 이상의 결과로 부터 함초 보충은 골격근 내 PGC-1α와 PPAR-γ 단백질 발현의 증가를 통하여 지방감소 및 근육량 증가에 효과적이었음이 시사되었다. This study examined whether the supplementation of Salicornia herbacea L. (SH), a member of the Chenopodiaceae subfamily, affects tissue specific triglyceride (TG) accumulation and the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ coactivator-1α (PGC-1α) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPAR-γ) protein expressions of skeletal muscle in rats with a high-fat diet. Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into three groups: control normal diet group (CD), high-fat diet group (HD), and 5.0% SH supplemented high-fat diet group (SD). The weights of fat tissue of the SD group were reduced by approximately 25%(p<0.01), while the skeletal muscle weight of the SD group increased approximately 5% compared to those in the HD group (p<0.01). The serum and hepatic TG of the SD group decreased approximately 20% compared to those of the HD group (p<0.05). In the protein expression levels in the skeletal muscle, the PGC-1α and PPAR-γ expressions of the SD group were 1.5-folds higher than those of the HD group (p<0.01). From these results, SH supplementation contributes to the improvement of the serum and hepatic TG concentrations, and the PGC-1 α and PPAR-γ protein expression levels in the skeletal muscle of fed a high-fat diet. Thus, SH supplementation was effective in reducing fat mass and increasing muscle mass.

        4주간 알코올 섭취가 성장기 흰쥐의 근육 위축에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effect of chronic alcohol supplementation on muscle atrophy in growing rats. Eighteen male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups: CG group (control group, n=9) and AG group (alcohol supplemented group, n=9). Alcohol group (3 g/kg BW) was orally supplemented every day. After the experimental period, serum components and muscle Akt, p-Akt, FoxO, p-FoxO, MuRF1, and P38 protein expressions were analyzed. In the results, the values of EDL and soleus muscle weights of AG group did not have significant differences compared to the value of the CG group. In the serum components, the value of the serum TG concentration of AG group was significantly increased compared to the value of the CG group. The value of the p-Akt/Akt and p-FoxO/FoxO of the AG group was significantly decreased compared to the value of the CG group (p<0.01). The MuRF1 protein expression of AG group was significantly increased compared to the value of the CG group (p<0.01). However, the values of p-P38/P38 between two groups did not have any significant difference. From these results, it was suggested that 4 weeks of chronic alcohol supplementation induced muscle atrophy via activated protein degradation pathway involving the inhibition of Akt phosphorylation and increased FoxO and MuRF1 protein expression of muscle in growing rats.

        Opuntia humifusa Supplementation Reduces Fat Weight by Increasing PPAR-γ and PGC-1α Protein Expression in the Skeletal Muscle of Rats

        본 연구는 안정 시 고지방식이 흰쥐의 골격근에서 PPAR-δ, PPAR-γ 그리고 PGC-1α 단백질 발현에 손바닥선인장 보충이 미치는 효과에 대하여 연구하였다. SD계 수컷 흰쥐 16마리를 무작위로 대조군(CG, n=8)과 실험군(EG, n=8)으로 분류하였다. 8주 동안 대조군은 고지방식이를 부하하였으며, 실험군은 5% 손바닥선인장을 보충식이하였다. 본 실험결과, 복부지방과 고환부 지방 중량은 EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(p<0.01). 또한 혈당, 중성지방, 총콜레스테롤의 농도도 EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(p<0.01). 한편, 골격근에서 PPAR-γ와 PGC-1α 단백질 발현은 EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 이상의 결과로부터 손바닥선인장 보충이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 혈당과 중성지방 농도의 감소와 골격근에서 PPAR-γ와 PGC-1α 단백질 발현을 증가시킴으로서 체지방을 감소시켜 체중증가 억제에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of supplementation with Opuntia humifusa on the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-delta (PPAR-δ), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-γ) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1alpha (PGC-1α) in the skeletal muscle of rats fed a high-fat diet. Sixteen Sprague-Dawley male rats at 6 weeks of age were randomly divided into 2 groups: a control diet group (CG, n=8) and an experimental diet group (EG, n=8). The rats were fed a high-fat diet (CG) or a high-fat diet supplemented with 5% O. humifusa (EG) for 8 weeks. The results showed that the abdominal fat pad and epididymal fat pad weights were significantly lower in the EG than in the CG (p<0.01). In the blood, serum glucose, triglycerides, and total cholesterol in the EG group were lower than in the CG (p<0.01). The expression of PPAR-γ and PGC-1α protein in the skeletal muscle of the EG was increased compared with that of the CG (p<0.05). These results indicate that 8 weeks of O. humifusa supplementation lowers serum glucose and triglyceride levels and suppresses weight gain by reducing fat weight through an increase in the expression of PPAR-γ and PGC-1α in the muscle tissue of rats.

        Effects of Opuntia humifusa Supplementation on Lipid Peroxidation and SOD Protein Expression in the Liver, Kidney, and Skeletal Muscle of Rats Fed a High-fat Diet

        본 연구는 안정 시 고지방식이 흰쥐의 신장, 간장 그리고 골격근에서 지질과산화와 SOD 단백질 발현에 손바닥 선인장 보충이 미치는 효과에 대하여 연구하였다. SD계 수컷 흰쥐 16마리를 무작위로 대조군(CG, n=8)과 실험군(EG, n=8)으로 분류하였다. 8주 동안 대조군은 고지방식이를 부하하였으며, 실험군은 5% 손바닥선인장을 보충식이하였다. 본 실험결과, 간장과 신장의 MDA 농도는 EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(p<0.01). 또한 골격근의 MDA 농도도 EG군이 CG군에 비해 높은 경향이 나타났으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. Cu,Zn-SOD 단백질 발현은 신장에서EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). Mn-SOD 단백질 발현은 골격근에서 EG군이 CG군에 비해 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). 이상의 결과로부터 손바닥선인장 보충이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 지질과산화 억제작용과 SOD단백질 발현이 기관특이적인 반응의 항산화 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Opuntia humifusa supplementation on lipid peroxidation and superoxide dismutase (SOD) protein expression at resting state in various organs of rats fed a high-fat diet. Sixteen Sprague-Dawley male rats, 6 weeks of age, were randomly divided into two groups: a control diet group (CG, n=8) and an experimental diet group (EG, n=8). They were given a high-fat diet (CG) or a diet supplemented with 5% of O. humifusa (EG) or 8 weeks. The results showed that the malondialdehyde (MDA) levels of the kidney and the liver were significantly lower in the EG group than in the CG group (p<0.01). In addition, the MDA levels in the skeletal muscle of the EG group tended to be lower than those in the CG group, but this difference was not significant. The Cu, Zn-SOD protein expression in the kidney of the EG group was significantly increased compared with that of the CG group (p<0.01). The Mn-SOD protein expression in the skeletal muscle of the EG group was significantly increased compared with that of the CG group (p<0.01). These results suggest that O. humifusa supplementation has antioxidative properties, which are exerted in a specific organ manner, and that it inhibits the action of lipid peroxidation and the expression of SOD in rats fed a high-fat diet.
