참조화자로부터 추정된 적응적 혼성 사전분포를 이용한 MAPLR 고속 화자적응

본 논문은 maximum a posteriori linear regression (MAPLR) 기반의 고속 화자적응 성능을 개선하기 위하여 사전분포를 추정하는 두 가지 방식을 제안한다. 일반적으로 MAPLR 방식에서 사용되는 변환행렬의 사전분포는 화자독립모델을 구성하는 훈련 화자들로부터 추정되어 모든 화자들에게 동등하게 적용된다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 화자에게 보다 더 적합한 사전분포를 적용하고자 적응 데이터를 이용하여 새로운 화자의 음향특성과 가까운 참조화자 집단을 선택한 후 참조화자 집단으로부터 사전분포를 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 블록 대각 형태의 변환행렬의 사전분포를 추정하는 경우 사전분포의 평균행렬과 공분산행렬을 동일한 훈련 화자들로부터 얻어진 두 가지 형태의 변환행렬집단으로부터 각각 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 성능 평가를 위하여 고립단어 인식실험을 통해 적응 단어의 개수에 따른 단어 인식률을 평가한다. 실험결과, 적응 단어 수가 매우 적을 때 기존의 MAPLR 방식에 비하여 통계적으로 유의미한 성능향상이 얻어짐을 보여준다. This paper proposes two methods of estimating prior distribution to improve the performance of rapid speaker adaptation based on maximum a posteriori linear regression (MAPLR). In general, prior distribution of the transformation matrix used in MAPLR adaptation is estimated from all of the training speakers who are employed to construct the speaker-independent model, and it is applied identically to all new speakers. In this paper, we propose a method in which prior distribution is estimated from a group of reference speakers, selected using adaptation data, so that the acoustic characteristics of the selected reference speakers may be similar to that of the new speaker. Additionally, in MAPLR adaptation with block-diagonal transformation matrix, we propose a method in which the mean matrix and covariance matrix of prior distribution are estimated from two groups of transformation matrices obtained from the same training speakers, respectively. To evaluate the performance of the proposed methods, we examine word accuracy according to the number of adaptation words in the isolated word recognition task. Experimental results show that, for very limited adaptation data, statistically significant performance improvement is obtained in comparison with the conventional MAPLR adaptation.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 웹 서비스에 기반한 상황 인식 미들웨어의 설계

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 상황 인식 기술은 수집된 컨텍스트 정보를 효과적으로 구조화하여 표현하고, 이러한 컨텍스트 정보를 이용하여 사용자의 의도를 파악한 후, 서비스를 제공하는 기술 등의 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 상황 인식 컴퓨팅을 위한 프레임워크인 WS-CAM으로 명명된 웹 서비스에 기반한 상황 인식 미들웨어를 제안한다. WS-CAM은 온톨로지 기반의 컨텍스트 모델을 사용하여 다양한 종류의 컨텍스트 정보에 대한 충분한 표현력과 추론 기능을 제공하고, 미들웨어로부터 응용 서비스로의 컨텍스트 정보 전달에 있어서 웹 서비스를 적용하여 미들웨어 독립적인 응용 개발을 이룰 수 있는 구조로 설계한다. 또한, WS-CAM의 유용성을 검증하기 위하여 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에 기반을 둔 강의 서비스 시나리오를 기술하고, 웹 서비스 기반의 장점을 보이기 위하여 미들웨어 독립적인 시스템 확장의 예를 보인다. 강의 서비스에 적용한 WS-CAM은 도메인 환경 내의 컨텍스트 정보를 OWL 기반 온톨로지 모델로 효과적으로 표현하였고, 사용자 정의 규칙에 의하여 고수준의 컨텍스트 정보로 추론됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 웹 서비스에 의해 제공되는 다양한 웹 메서드를 통하여 컨텍스트 정보가 응용 서비스에 미들웨어 독립적으로 전달됨을 확인할 수 있었다. Context-aware technologies for ubiquitous computing are necessary to study the representation of gathered context-information appropriately, the understanding of user's intention using context-information, and the offer of pertinent services for users. In this paper, we propose the WS-CAM(Web Services based Context-Aware Middleware) framework for context-aware computing. WS-CAM provides ample power of expression and inference mechanisms to various context-information using an ontology-based context model. We also consider that WS-CAM is the middleware-independent structure to adopt web services with characteristic of loosely coupling as a matter of communication of context-information. In this paper, we describe a scenario for lecture services based on the ubiquitous computing e e e e e e to verify the utilization of WS-CAM We also show an example of middleware-independent system expansion to display the merits of web-based services. WS-CAM for lecture services represented context-information itodomaits as OWL-based ontology model effectively, and we confirmed the information is inferred to high level context-information by user-defined rules. We also confirmed the context-information is transferred to application services middleware-independently using various web methods provided by web services.

Gaussian Mixture Model 기반 전완 근전도 패턴 분류 알고리즘

본 논문에서는 의수환자의 일상생활을 고려한 1-자유도 동작을 손을 쥐고 폄으로 정의하고, 두 동작에 대한 근전도 패턴 분류를 위한 가우시안 혼합 모델 기반의 근전도 패턴 분류 알고리즘을 제안한다. 근전도 패턴 분류 알고리즘의 핵심이 되는 근전도 신호의 특징점 추출을 위하여 근전 신호의 진폭 특성을 고려하는 절대차분평균치(DAMV)와 평균절대값(MAV)을 사용한다. 또한 동작에 대한 근전 신호의 진폭 특성을 보다 명확히 구분하기 위하여 D_DAMV와 D_MAV를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 4명의 성인남성을 대상으로 실험을 실시하였고, 두 동작에 대한 근전도 패턴의 정확한 분류 여부를 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose the gaussian mixture model based pattern classification algorithm of forearm electromyogram. We define the motion of 1-degree of freedom as holding and unfolding hand considering a daily life for patient with prosthetic hand. For the extraction of precise features from the EMG signals, we use the difference absolute mean value(DAMV) and the mean absolute value(MAV) to consider amplitude characteristic of EMG signals. We also propose the D_DAMV and D一MAV in order to classify the amplitude characteristic of EMG signals more precisely. In this paper, we implemented a test targeting four adult male and identified the accuracy of EMG pattern classification of two motions which are holding and unfolding hand.
