목적: 골반부 전이성 종양의 수술적 치료 후 종양학적 결과, 기능 및 합병증의 발생을 통해 수술적 치료의 적응 가능성을 연구하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 1994년 5월부터 2003년 5월까지 골반부 전이성 종양 환자 중 고식적/수술적 치료를 받았던 9례/10례를 대상으로 하였으며 환자의 평균 연령은 57.6/48.0세, 남녀 비는 5:4/7:3이였다. 원발 병소로는 신장암과 자궁 경부암이 각 3례, 폐암, 골수종, 비호지킨 림프종이 각 2례, 유방암, 방광암, 고환암, 전립선암, 위암, 간암, 후복막 평활근육종이 각각 1례 이었다. 고식적 치료로는 방사선 단독 치료가 5례, 항암 화학 단독 치료가 1례, 방사선 치료와 항암 화학 요법의 병합 치료가 2례, 경피적 뼈시멘트 삽입술이 1례에서 행하여 졌으며, 수술적 치료로는 소파술 후 뼈시멘트 삽입술이 1례, 내골반 반절제술 후 Girdlestone 술식이 2례, 재건술이 7례에서 시행되었고, 재건술로는 뼈시멘트 삽입술이 1례, 방사선 조사 또는 저온 멸균 후 자가골 이식술 및 고관절 전치환술이 5례, saddle prosthesis를 이용한 관절 성형술이 1례에서 시행되었다. 치료 후 종양학적 결과 및 Eastern Cooperative Oncologic Group (ECOG) 운동 평가 지수, 술 후 합병증을 조사하였다. 결과: 고식적/수술적 치료군에서 종양학적 결과로는 NED 0/1례, AWD 2/6례, DOC 1/2례, DOD 6/1례였고, ECOG 운동 평가 지수는 고식적 치료군에서 치료 전 1.5에서 치료 후 4.3으로 악화되었으나 수술적 치료군에서는 2.6에서 2.2로 관찰되었다. 합병증으로는 금속 대치물 부전이 3례, 감염이 2례에서 관찰되었다. 결론: 골반부 전이성 종양의 수술 여부 및 수술의 방법은 환자의 상태, 원발 종양의 악성도 및 기대 생존 기간에 따라 결정되어야 될 것으로 사료되었다. Purpose: We studied to decide the operative indication of the metastatic tumor in pelvis according to the oncologic results, the Eastern Cooperative Oncologic Group (ECOG) performance status and complication. Materials and methods: From May 1994 to May 2003, 9 patients who were performed on palliative treatment and 10 paitents on operative treatment due to metastatic tumor of pelvic bone were investigated. On palliative/operative group, the mean age of patients was 57.6/48.0 years old and the ratio of male to female was 5:4/7:3. Primary origins were 3 cases from kidney, 3 from cervix and 2 of lung, 2 of myeloma, 2 of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and 1 from breast, bladder, testis, prostate, stomach, liver and retroperitoneal leimyosarcoma respectively. The palliative treatment was performed in 5 cases with radiotherapy, 1 with chemotherapy, 2 with combined chemo-radiotherapy and 1 with percutaneous cementation. The operative methods were 1 case of bone cement insertion after curettage, 2 of Girdlestone with internal hemipelvectomy and 7 of reconstruction after wide excision. Reconstructions were done.: 1 case of bone cementation, 5 of autograft prosthesis composite with irradiation or pastuerization and 1 of saddle prosthesis. We have observed the oncologic results, the ECOG performance status and complication. Results: The oncologic results of palliative/operative groups are NED 0/1, AWD 2/6, DOC 1/2 and DOD 6/1. The ECOG performance status was changed from 1.5 into 4.3 in palliative group and from 2.6 into 2.2 in operative group. The complications were 3 cases of the prosthesis failure and 2 of infection. Conclusion: The indication of operation of metastatic pelvic tumor is decided in consideration of the patient's condition, the grade of malignancy in primary tumor and the life expectancy.

We studied AlGaN-based UV sensors for UV germicidal application. The crack-free AlGaN epitaxial layer was achieved by inserting thin AlN buffer layer between AlGaN layer and GaN layer. Good epitaxial quality was proved by PL spectrum which has the peak wavelength of 275nm and the FWHM of 8.7nm. The dark current of the fabricated device with Ni-Schottky contact was lower than 1pA for Vr=3V bias and the turn-on voltage was 2V at If=1uA. we also obtained that the responsivity was 0.067A/W at 260nm and the cut-off wavelength was 280nm. Under the UV exposure test, the fabricated sensor was not degraded for 200hrs at the UV-C power of 10mW/㎠

임신중에 발견된 표재성 방광종양 1례 : Case Report

Primary transitional cell carcinoma(TCC) of the bladder is a rare during child-bearing age and only 10 such cases have been reported in the literature^1-6). The patients presented with gross hematuria which was initially mistaken as vaginal bleeding. Initial diagnosis was made with sonography. Diagnosis was easily confirmed by cystoscopy with biopsy. Transurethral resection of the bladder tumor was performed as usual manner and postoperative course was uneventful. We experienced transitional cell carcinoma of bladder in a 26 year-old in the 21 week of pregnancy.
