아데노이드 비대증에 의한 비정상 비강 내 유동의 PIV해석

Airflow in the nasal cavity of Korean adults is investigated experimentally by PIV measurement. Quantitative data for normal and abnormal nasal cavities with adenoid vegetation are obtained. The CBC PIV algorithm with window offset is used for PIV flow analysis. Average and RMS distributions are obtained for inspirational and expirational nasal airflows. Comparisons between western and Korean nasal airflows are appreciated. Due to the difference in geometry of the frontal part of nasal cavity, the flow near nares shows the difference. For the joint research on nasal deceases, PIV measurements of nasal airflow for nasal cavities with 50% and 70% adenoid vegetation are conducted for the first time. Comparisons in nasal airflows for both normal and abnormal cases are also appreciated.

Chemical Kinetics is a field of chemistry connected with chemical rate and chemical reaction mechanism. Today the plants and chemical procession of many chemical factories are planned to produce things in large quantities fast and economically. Therefore the importance of this chemical kinetics, connected with chemical procession, goes on increasing. So this paper will be useful for the teaching methods of high school chemistry and general chemistry in university as comparing and analyzing the contents and experiments of chemical kinetics in newly revised high school chemistry textbooks, general chemistry in university, chem study, and American textbooks(chemistry ; the study of matter). The results are as follows. 1. Comparing the relative importance of chemical kinetics in newly revised high school chemistry textbooks, university general chemistry, chem study, and American chemistry textbook total pages of newly revised high school chemistry textbooks are simillar to the others but interesting pictures and problems are short and chemical equations are too much. So as far as economical cirumstances permit, colorful pictures and photos or examples of the newest high technology must be used to arose interest. 2. Comparing the contents of newly revised high school chemical textbooks, the quantity of contents and reaction mechanism are not the same. So the contents must be complemented and amendmented. 3. Taking into account of the importance of chemical industry and chemical kinetics in everyday life, the contents must be complemented with examples observed in real life and applied field in chemical industry to arose interest. 4. Reducing the difference of high school textbooks and general chemistry in university and putting the concepts for mathmatical thinking into high school textbooks, we must make consistent contents. 5. Experimental process must be complemented and amended to be a systemic experiment considering the connection with theory. 6. The experiments of chemical kinetics in a high school chemical process are much weaker than college chemistry. So the experiments of chemical kinetics must be richer and the experiment of determining reaction order must be complemented.
Position Sensorless Control of PMSM Drive for Electro-Hydraulic Brake Systems

This study proposed a fault tolerant control algorithm for electro-hydraulic brake systems where permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive is adopted to boost the braking pressure. To cope with motor position sensor faults in the PMSM drive, a braking pressure controller based on an open-loop speed control method for the PMSM was proposed. The magnitude of the current vector was determined from the target braking pressure, and motor rotational speed was derived from the pressure control error to build up the braking pressure. The position offset of the pump piston resulting from a leak in the hydraulic system is also compensated for using the open-loop speed control by moving the piston backward until it is blocked at the end of stroke position. The performance and stability of the proposed controller were experimentally verified. According to the results, the control algorithm can be utilized as an effective means of degraded control for electro-hydraulic brake systems in the case that a motor position sensor fault occurs.

본 논문은 자유 공간에서 Critter라 정의된 이동 로보트가 신경회로망을 이용하여 물체의 움직임에 대한 개념을 학습하고자 하였다. Critter는 자신과 이동 물체간의 거리와 각도의 위상적 순서(topological order)를 가지는 2차원 SOM(Self-Organizing Map)을 구성하도록 훈련된다. 물체의 연속적인 움직임은 SOM의 processing element를 순서적으로 동작시키고, 이러한 순서는 움직임의 방향을 나타내는 방향벡터로 구성된다. 이러한 방향 벡터의 변화되는 시점의 벡터만을 모아 특성 벡터로 구성하여 그 움직임에 대한 개념으로 기억하게 된다. 또한, 새로운 움직임에 대한 특성 벡터가 생성될 때마다 기억이 일어나는 점진적 학습을 수행한다.
