In this study, the antitumor activities were investigated using β-Immunan, a proteoglycan obtained from cultured mycelia of the IYO09 strain of Ganoderma lucidum IY009belonging to basidiomycetes. The result showed the significant effect of cytotoxicity test against murine sarcoma 180 and murine Iymphocytic leukemia L1210 using immunized macrophage cultures by β-Immunan. When intraperitoneally injected at 40 mg/kg/day daily for 10 days, β-Immunan inhibited the growth of sarcoma 180 solid tumor in ICR mice by 88.8% (p<0.05). It was also observed that β-Immunan increased life span by 85.2% (p<0.01) after treatment of 100 mg/kg/day in BDFI mice bearing Iymphocytic leukemia L1210. And combination therapy with cisplatin (dosage: 4 mg/kg) increased life span by 140.4% (p<0.05) after treatment of 100 kg/mg/day in BDFI mice bearing Iymphocytic leukemia L1210.

In this study, the setting characteristics of the high range water reducing agent to minimize the retardation of UHPC were confirmed to minimize the setting time in the hardening of UHPC. As a result of the study, there was a slight change depending on the difference in the type of Superplasticizer, K > P > D = S > E in the order of condensation promotion, and E > S = D = K > P on the 28th day.

β-Immunan, a proteoglycan, was isolated from the mycelium of Ganoderma lucidum which belongs to a medicinal mushroom. The effects of β-Immunan on cell- cell and cell-matrix interactions mediated by carbohydrate-recognition and the mechanism responsible for the inhibition of experimental metastasis of Bl6-FIO and B16/BL6 murine melanoma were studied. The results showed that Ganoderma lucidum-Immunan inhibited Bl6-Fl melanoma cell's adhesion to laminin and asialofetuin-induced homotypic aggregation and reduced invasion against Bl6-FIO murine melanoma cells through matrigel in vitro assay: When β-Immunan was intraperitoneally administrated to C57BL/6 mice bearing B16/BL6 murine melanoma cells, it was decreased the number of pulmonary metastatic colony by the dose dependent manner ranging from 20 to 100 mg/kg/day, The results indirectly indicate that clinical treatment with β-Immunan might be expected to exhibit anti-metastatic effect. In the put-monary metastasis, the number of pulmonary metastatic colony of melanoma when β-Immunan was intraperitoneally aduunistrated to C57BL/6 mice bearing Bla/BL6 murine melanoma cells by intravenous injection were decreased by the dose dependent manner ranging from 20 to 100 mg/kg/day.
마우스에서 2,4-Dinitrochlorobenzene을 이용한 아토피성 피부염 발현 관련 면역지표치 분석

This study was undertaken to develop a reliable mice model demonstrating similar immunologic phenomena as human atopic dermatitis characterized with predominance of type-2 immune response. BALB/c mice and NC/Nga mice were sensitized twice with 100 ㎕ of 1% 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) or vehicle (acetone : olive oil = 4 : 1 mixture) in a week and challenged twice with 100 ㎕ of 0.2% DNCB or the vehicle at the following week. Mice were sacrificed at 19 days following the second DNCB or vehicle challenge for NC/Nga mice and at 28 days following the second DNCB or vehicle challenge for BALB/c mice. Upregulation of plasma IgE, a hallmark of atopic dermatitis occurrence, was evident in the plasma obtained 4 day after the second DNCB challenge from BALB/c mice (approximately 4-fold) and NC/Nga mice (approximately 6-fold) treated with DNCB in comparison with that of the vehicle treated-control mice, and remain higher 3~4 week after the second challenge. Ratio of plasma IgG1 versus IgG2a concentration was significantly higher in the mice treated with DNCB than the control mice, which also implies the skewed type-2 reactivity in vivo. Ratio of interleukin-4 versus interferon gamma produced in the splenic T cell culture supernatants was approximately 3-fold higher in the both strains of mice treated with DNCB than their control mice, respectively. The DNCB-treated mice demonstrated atopic dermatitis-like skin legions characterized with erythma, scaling, and hemorrhage, which was not observed with the control mice. Scratching on face or dorsal area was significantly more frequent (approximately 25-fold) in the DNCB-treated mice than the control at next day of the second DNCB challenge, and scratching frequency remains higher (approximately 4-fold) in the mice treated with DNCB than the control at 14 day following the second DNCB challenge. Overall, the mice model developed through sensitization and challenge with DNCB may be useful for research on atopic dermatitis and development of treatment materials for atopic dermatitis.

This study examined the curing temperature of concrete with a photothermal insulation sheet to shorten the curing time of concrete as part of construction cost and period reduction. According to the experiment results, the heating performance effect is confirmed through the temperature difference between photothermal insulation sheet and bubble sheet. And it has a high curing temperature in the order of bubble sheet (photo heating material B) > bubble sheet (photo heating material A) > bubble sheet on same layers

In this study, light-heat generating materials were produced in two ways, and the performance of two light-generating insulation sheets was reviewed. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to confirm the improved heating performance of the light heating insulation sheet compared to the existing bubble sheet. The light heat insulation sheet (b) showed improved thermal properties compared to the existing bubble sheet, and it is believed that the temperature has increased due to the combined effect of initial hydration heat and heat generation after installation. In future studies additional experiments are needed to compensate for the insufficient insulation performance due to the single bubble sheet through the double bubble sheet and to adjust the amount of light-generating materials added as a consideration of the optimal heat-generating effect of the light-generating insulation sheet (b).

The inferior alveolar or mental nerves may be damaged during several routine surgical procedures on the madible These include removal of wisdom teeth, various grafting for mandibular augmentation and implantation procedures, etc. Therefore, intentional reposition of the inferior alveolar nerve doesn t only facilitate various surgery but also minimizes damage to infeior alveolar nerve which has been indicated as adjunctive techniques for orthognathic surgery, vestibuloplasty, and implantation of atrophied posterior mandible. We have done that repositioning of the inferior alveolar nerve for mandibular body osteotomy, rigid internal fixation ot fractured mandible, en bloc resection of ameloblastoma, enucleation of radicu-lar cyst, and implantation of the atrophied posterior mandible. So, it was possible for us to facilitate RIF for immediate repair of the continuity defect near the mental foramen without retraction of mental nerve We could lessen the risk of iatrogenic nerve damage and complete removal of lesion during the enucleation of intrabony lesion approximated neurovascular bundle. The effect of vertical height augmentation of mandible tor implant has made superior functional restorative rehabilitation during the implantation of atrophied posterior mandible. Neurosensory evaluation was performed using the two-point discrimination test. All patients have immediated neurosensory alteration associated with the neurovascular bundle manipulations. 5 Patients with unilateral reposition had good recovery and returned to normal neurosensory function in 12 to 21 months postoperatively. As for the case of one patient with bilateral reposition only 4 months of followup period has passed. So the result remains to be seen. The approach mentioned above has got a good result in minimzing the long-term neurosensory disturbances and facilitating various mandibular surgery. This paper, therfore, reports on the literature on the matter.
