Objectives: This study was designed to investigate therapeutic effects fo NR on allergic asthma in terms of mesurement of cytokine profiles, distribution of BAL and expression levels of asthma induced by OVA. Methods: C57BL/6 mouse was divided into normal, NR Ⅰ, control, and NR Ⅱ, and Notopterygii Rhizoma Extract was orally administered to the C57BL/6 mice in the normal group and the normal mouse in NR Ⅰgroup while it was orally administered to the control group after inducing asthma by OVA and NR Ⅱ. The study measured them by means of ELISA after dividing BALF of each group, and analyzed RT-PCR by using lung tissues. Results: In our results, lung weight and the number of total cells in the lung and of Leukocyte and Eosinophils in BALF were significantly decreased. In addition, IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, and IgE in BALF were significantly decreased compared to the control group. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that NR Extract be a desirable altemative therapy for allergic asthma by inhibiting the expressin of immune cells, the activation of inflammatory mediator.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 공감능력과 생명의료윤리 의식의 정도를 조사하고 생명의료윤리에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 D시에 재학 중인 간호대학생 250명이며, SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과로서 간호대학생의 공감능력은 3.39로 공감적 관심이 3.50으로 가장 높았고, 생명윤리의식 정도는 2.56이었고, 그 중 신생아 생명권이 2.83으로 가장 높았다. 생명의료윤리의식은 공감능력과 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈고, 생명의료윤리의식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 공감능력(β=.341, p<.001), 학년(β=.304, p<.001), 1년 이내 윤리교육 참석유무(β=.182, p<.001), 윤리적 교육경험이 의사결정에 도움정도(β=.164, p=003)로 조사되었고, 이러한 요인들은 생명의료윤리의식에 대하여 71.8%의 높은 설명력을 보였다(F=159.147, p<.001). 이를 토대로 간호대학생들의 공감능력과 관련된 생명의료윤리의식 교육이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence nursing students’ biomedical ethics awareness. More specifically, to investigate the relationship between nursing students’ biomedical ethics awareness and empathy. The participants were 250 nursing students’ from one nursing college in South Korea. The data were analysed with a t-test, ANOVA, conducted correlation, and a regression analysis using SPSS version 19.0. The most influential factor for biomedical ethics awareness was empathy(β=.341, p<.001), grade (β=.304, p<.001), participation in ethics education within one year(β=.182, p<.001) and ethics education helps decision making(β=.164, p=.003). These factors accounted for 71.8% of the variance in biomedical ethics awareness(F=159.147, p<.001). Based on this, it is necessary to educate nursing students" ethical consciousness related to empathy ability.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of science lesson applying STEAM education on the creative thinking activities and emotional intelligence of elementary school students. The study subjects were two classes of the 3th grade of S elementary school in B Metropolitan City. One class including 26 students was experimental group and the other including 27 students was comparison group. For the purpose of study, the lesson unit ‘The world of animals’ was practised, the reorganized unit applying STEAM was applied to experimental group, whereas comparison group was taught traditional science lesson. The results of this study were as follows. First, the science lesson applying STEAM education influenced significantly the improvement of the creative thought activities of elementary school students. Second, the science lesson applying STEAM education influenced significantly the improvement of the emotional intelligence of elementary school students.
초등학생을 위한 물 환경교육 애니메이션 학습 프로그램의 개발 및 적용

The purpose of this study was to develope the water environmental education program using animation and to examine the learning effect of the animation based learning program(ALP) on elementary school students. The program consisted of raising a question in everyday life, history and water, the present condition of water resources, the future of water and mankind, and a view and a measure of water. Following development, it was applied to 127 fifth grade students in Busan. With dividing them into two groups: the controlled group and the experimental one, lessons were executed respectively. After experiencing each class, the experimental groups showed higher recognition on importance of water, water pollution, and insufficiency of water and their attitude toward water was improved affirmatively than the controlled group.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of utilization of creative techniques in elementary science class on science learning motivation and science academic achievement. To verify this study, the subjects of this study were sixth-grade students selected from four classes of an elementary school located in U Metropolitan city. First, the experimental group showed a significant improvement in their science learning motivation compared to the comparative group. Second, the experimental group showed a significant improvement in their science academic achievement compared to the comparative group.
STEAM 기반 야외체험학습 프로그램이 초등학생의 과학탐구능력 및 과학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to develop STEAM based field trip program for elementary students and to examine the effects of it on science process skills and attitudes toward science. Two fourth grade classes from G elementary school in B Metropolitan City were divided into the experimental group(11 boys, 13 girls) and the comparison group(13 boys, 11 girls). The results of this study were as follows: First, STEAM-based Field Trip Programs gave a positive influence on the science process skills of elementary school students, especially the improvement of the integrated process skills. Second, there was meaningful change in the attitudes toward science for those who studied the group on STEAM-based Field Trip Programs. Third, students who studied with STEAM-based Field Trip Programs became more interested in science and found the joy ofexploration and cooperation through the program.

Recently, there have been various studies for fluidic behavior in micro-channel due to the rapid growth of biochip and MEMs applications. In this study, the fluidic behavior in micro-channel was investigated when low-frequency vibration was given to the micro-channel environment. Especially, an actuation using flexure mechanism and piezo-electric stack actuator was used to generate vibration up to 300 Hz, which was given to the micro-channel directly. The structural characteristics of the experimental setup were investigated to identify the vibratory behavior of the micro-channel. Consequently, the influence of the low-frequency vibration on the fluidic behavior in micro-channel could be observed.
거꾸로 교실을 적용한 과학수업이 초등학생의 과학 학습 동기 및 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

This study was conducted to examine the effect of elementary science class with Flipped learning on scientific learning motivation and academic achievement of elementary students. Two fifth grade classes were divided into experimental group and comparative group to treat the experimental group with elementary science class using Flipped learning. General class according to teacher manual was implemented for the comparison group. Elementary science class applying flipped learning was conducted for 12 sessions throughout the experimental period of 9 weeks. The results of this study were as follows. First, elementary science class with flipped learning was effective in improving scientific learning motivation. Second, elementary science class with flipped learning had significant effect on improvement of academic achievement.
강활추출물이 OVA-induced Asthma Mouse Model의 면역조절에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the asthma-suppressive and immuno-regulatory effect of Notopterygii Rhizoma(NR) extract on OVA(ovalbumin)-induced asthma in mice. Methods: C57BL/6 mice out of all the experimental groups, except the Normal group and the NRⅠgroup, were sensitized and challenged with OVA. C57BL/6 mice were exposed to OVA three times a week for 12 weeks and analyzed by flow cytometer, ELISA, H&E stain. Results: The concentrations of IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, IgE in serum of the OVA-NRⅡgroup decreased significantly compared with those of the OVA-Control group. The number of Gr-1+/CD11b+, CCR3+, CD3+/ CD19+, CD3e+/CD69+cells in the OVA-NRⅠ group decreased significantly compared with those of the OVA-Control group. The collagen accumulation in the lung sections of the OVA-NRⅡ group decredased signi- ficantly compared with that of the OVA-Control group. Conclusions: These results suggest that Notopterygii Rhizoma(NR) would be a effective candidate for herbal-originated anti-asthmatic drug. However, this drug should be further studied for characterization of the accurate action and underlying mechanism using variant disease model in the future.
