선천성 유아 사경의 물리치료에 대한 임상적 고찰

Torticollis is a deformity of the neck that shows tilting of the head toward the affected side and rotation of the chin toward the opposite side. In many cases with this condition, unilateral tightness of the sternoclediomastoid muscle is found frequently with fibrous tumor. The analysis of 43 cases of congenital muscular torticollis and result of their physical therapy are reported. The research was from Jan. 1, 1990 to Dec. 31, 1995 at Ulsan Dong Kang Hospital. The results obtained were as follows. 1. There were 30 males(69.8%) and 13 females(30.2%). Age distribution of patients showed below 2 month 20 cases(46.5%), above 1 year 7 cases(16.3%), 5~6/11~12 months 4 cases(9.3%), and 7~8 month 2 cases(4.6%). 2. 25 cases(58.1%) were on the right and 18 cases(41.9%) on the left side. Torticollis was mild to moderately severe in mild 22 cases(51.1%), moderate 18 cases(41.9%) and severe 3 cases(7%). 3. There were normal spontaneous delivery in 36 cases(83.7%), Cesaean section in 4 cases(9.3%) and breech presentation in 3 cases(7%). Sequence of birth, the 1st born babys were 30 cases(69.8%) and the 2nd born babys were 13 cases(30.2%). 4. Above fair result of physiotherapy were 36 cases(83.7%). 5. Of the 43 cases with fellow up, above fair 32 cases(74.4%) and poor 11 cases(25.6%) showed. As conclusion, passive stretch exercise of sternocleidomastoid muslce with early torticollis diagnosis seems more successful in recovery than no exercise.

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between Korea`s changing environmental policies and the Environmental Impact Assessment. The EIA has targeted the so-called "development projects" in the past, and has recently expanded itself to cover a broader range of targets including trade-related policy issues such as Free Trade Agreements, direct investment agreements among others. The question deals with the background of this expansion. This research has thus examined the so-called "path dependence analysis" of plocy by focusing upon the changing trade structures, environmental policies and environmental impact assessment against historical contexts. Consequently, the research concluded that the need to increase Korea`s trade competitiveness in response to changing economic structure within and without ROK has resulted in the expansion of the targets for the Environmental Impact Assessment. Incidentally, Korea`s direct investment agreements and Free Trade Agreements embrace the results of Strategic Environmental Impact Assessments.

전통구들의 시스템개선을 통한 일반주거용 건축물에서의 열효율 극대화 방안

Environmental problems caused by overusing the fossil fuel are now making a global warming intimidating existence of the human race. We requires sustainable residential heating system which is zero carbon emission system than fossil fuel using system. The traditional Gudeul is direct heating system using woods, and so, it has high energy efficiency and zero carbon emission heating system. Generally, traditional Gudeul could not make warming all spaces equally. It is a week point of this system. On this study, we suggest the practical model of Gudeul by improving the traditional system. As the results of the experiments, improved 1:1model has the best efficiency of heating. Especially, Gaejari, Agungi, the form of Gorea, and the gradient of underfloor are confirmed to improve the efficiency of heating. Improved Gudeul has better efficiency than mechanical heating system, and echo-friendly. It is suitable for alternative heating system.

말초성 안면신경마비에 대한 임상적 고찰

This study has done to show the analysis and ressult of their recovery in 35 cases of peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve. The research was from Jan. 1, 1994 to Dec. 31, 1996 at Ulsan Dong Kang Hospital. The results were as follows ; 1. There were 19 males(54.3%) and 16 females(45.7%). Age distribution of patients showed above 20 years old in 31 patients(88.6%). 2. 18 cases(51.4%) were on the right and 17 cases(48.6%) on the left side. 3. Unknown of etiology was 23 cases(65.7%). 4. Grade of injury was zero in 21 cases(60.0%), trace in 8 cases(22.9%). 5. The period of treatment was $2{\sim}3$ weeks in 23 cases(65.7%), $1{\sim}2$ months in 3 cases(8.6%). 6. On electromyography facial nerve action potential amplitude was above 1.0 mv in 22 patients(62.9 %) after treatment. Facial nerve conduction latency using orbicularis oris was below 6.0 msec in 23 patients(65.7%) after treatment. 7. Recovery of patient was normal in 25 cases(71.5%) and fair in 10 cases(28.5%).
