N/A Recently a non-electronic, disposable and portable infusor(Baxter infusor with patient con- trol module, Baxter health care Co., Deerfield IL 60015 USA: BI c PCM) has been developed that will deliver both a continuous drug infusion as well as allow the patient to deliver extra doses of-medication on a demand basis under predetermined limitation of analgesics. Patients may also not require as high analgesic dose rate to control pain when the acceptable and toler- able level of pain relief can be maintained by this device. From April l99l, we have used a total l93 units of BI c PCM. These units consisting of two components which one made by a balloon reservoir(capacity 65 ml, flow rate 0.5 ml/hr) to store medication and to regulate the pump power(490 torr), and another two PCMs to regulate additional analgesic administration by patients demand at intervals of 1S minutes and 60 min- utes. The dose administered to the patient can be varied by changing the concentration of the infusate within the balloon reservoir. These devices were utilized for the pain control of 44 patients. These patients were divided into two groups. Twenty seven cases had cancer pain and 17 cases had non-cancer pain. The Touhy needle(No. l8 G.) tip was inserted into the epidural space and was used to guide the catheter to the spinal nerve level corresponding to the most painful area. The device was connected to the opposite site of the catheter tip and was filled with 60 ml of mixture solution such as 0.5/o bupivacaine 15 ml, morphine HC1 10 mg, trazodone 10 ml, Tridol 3 ml and normal saline 31 ml were administed as the initial dose. When the initial dose was less effective, the next dose could be varied by increasing the concentration of bupivacaine, by adding more morphine (5-10 mg), and by reducing the volume of normal saline. Using these modules of drug self administration, we experienced the following: 1) Improvement of patient's self titration of analgesic requirement was provided. 2) The patients anxiety with pain recurrence resulting from delays in administering pain control medication was decreased significantly. 3) The working load accompanying with the single bolus injection as the usual method was reduced remarkably. 4) There was urinary retention in 5 cases and pruritus in 4 eases which developed as side ef- fects but respiratory depression and vomiting was not encountered in a single case.

Sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis (SEP) is characterized by peritoneal fibrosis and adhesion of the peritoneum with the loops of the small intestine. Although the prevalence is low, most cases are caused by peritoneal dialysis, infection, medication, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and intra-abdominal neoplasm. We describe a 22-year old man who was presented with abdominal pain and distension, which were attributed to SLE with peritonitis. He had no specific history of previous medical illness and peritoneal dialysis. He was treated with intravenous high dose methylprednisolone 1 g/day for 3 days, followed by intravenous methylprednisolone 1 mg/kg daily and immunoglobulin. However, his symptoms did not improve. Eventually, a laparoscopic biopsy was performed for an accurate diagnosis. The histopathologic findings were presented in accordance to the typical characteristics of SEP. In spite of medical treatment, he did not show an improvement of clinical symptoms and radiologic findings. As a result, he died from nutritional deficiency, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, and congestive heart failure.
컴퓨터 교과 교육 1 : 로봇을 이용한 C 프로그래밍 교육이 학업 성취도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 프로그래밍 학습에서 로봇을 이용한 수업이 학생들의 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 프로그래밍 학습에서 로봇의 적용 가능성을 검증한 것이다. 연구를 위하여 경기도 군포시에 소재한 K정보산업고등학교 2학년 2개 반을 대상으로 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누어 프로그래밍 기초의 제어문 단원에 대해 실험집단은 로봇을 이용한 수업을, 비교집단은 컴퓨터실에서 이루어지는 전통적인 강의식 수업을 실시한 후에 학업성취도 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 로봇을 이용한 수업을 실시한 실헙집단의 학업성취도가 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 프로그래밍 학습에서 로봇을 이용한 수업이 전문계 고등학교 학생들에게 나타나는 학습의욕 저하와 동기 상실 등의 문제를 어느 정도 해결할 수 있는 좋은 교수·학습 방법으로 적용될 수 있는 가능성이 있음을 의미하며, 기존 프로그래밍 교수 방법의 어려움을 해소하는데 도움을 줄 수 있음을 시사해 준다.

본 논문은 가다머의 ‘놀이’개념과 그것의 도덕교육적 함의를 해명하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 잘 알려져 있듯이, 가다머의 대표적인 저서는 『진리와 방법』이며, 여기서 그는 진리의 문제를 예술의 경험에서 찾으면서 논의를 개진한다. 가다머에 따르면, 예술작품은 우리의 생활세계와 연관되어 있는 비-방법적 진리에서 드러난다. 즉, 예술작품에 대한 이해는 객관적인 대상을 분석하는 과학적 인식을 통해서는 도저히 파악할 수 없는 생기(사건)에 대한 인식이다. 특히 가다머는 예술에 대한 진정한 이해를 ‘놀이’의 존재방식에서 찾고 있다. 여기서 그가 도입하는 ‘놀이’개념은 놀이하는 사람의 의식이나 주관적 태도로부터 독립된 독특한 본질적 의미를 지닌다. 그가 주장하는 ‘놀이’의 본질적 의미에는 중간태적 의미, 자기표현, 형성체로의 변화 등이 함축되어 있다. 즉, 그는 ‘중간태’라는 의미를 통해 놀이 운동은 놀이자와 놀이 자체와의 만남에서 발생할 수밖에 없다는 점을 강조하며, 나아가 놀이의 존재방식을 ‘자기표현’이라고 주장한다. 또한 ‘형성체’라는 개념을 사용하여 예술작품의 세계를 하나의 완전히 변화된 세계로 간주하고 있다. 그런데 이러한 그의 ‘놀이’개념은 도덕교육의 본질적 특성을 담고 있다. 예를 들면, 초등도덕교육에서 역할놀이 수업 모형, 가치관계 확장법, 대화학습 등을 이해하는데 큰 도움을 제공한다. This paper aims to clarify Gadamer’s concept of ‘play’(Spiel) and its implication in moral education. As is well known, Gadamer’s most important publication is Truth and Method(Wahrheit und Methode). It begins when Gadamer takes up the question of truth as it emerges from the experience of art. According to Gadamer, Artworks reveal nonmethodological truth that be connected with our living world. To understand art works it is not scientific cognition that analyzes the ingredients of objects but events(Geschehen) that can’t determine permanent meaning. To explain this character of artwork, Gadamer introduced the concept ‘play’, as the consciousness of the participating individual. In other words, the play is the mode of being of the work of art itself. Gadamer’s essential meaning of ‘play’ has been implicated in the medial sense, self-representation, and transformation into structure etc. Furthermore, Gadamer’s concept of play has various implications in moral education. For example, it provides great help in understanding the role-playing instruction model, value-relation expanding principle and dialogical instruction in elementary moral education.
