남해안의 연안전선 형성에 영향을 주는 조류와 취송류, 그리고 밀도류의 분포를 파악하기 위하여 3차원유동모델 (POM; Princeton Ocean Model)을 이용하여 수치실험 하였다. 조석 잔차류의 유향을 보면 거제도 및 남해도 먼 바다에서는 남향 류가 우세하였고, 전라남도 먼 바다에서는 서향류가 우세하게 나타났으며, 밀도류는 남해안의 대표적인 해류인 쓰시마 난류를 잘 재현하였다. 또한, 취송류의 흐름도 일반적인 흐름과 유사하게 잘 재현되었다. 외양역에서는 밀도류의 영향이 강하며, 해안부 근에서는 취송류와 조석잔차류의 영향이 전체잔차류에서 반영되었다. 이상의 결과를 통하여 남해안에서의 물질 이동·확산을 예 측하기 위한 기초자료로 활용 가능 할 것으로 판단된다.

한국 남해에서 조류와 취송류, 밀도류 그리고 잔차류의 특성을 이해하기 위하여 3차원유동모델(POM; Princeton Ocean Model)을 이용하였다. 조석 잔차류의 분포를 보면, 대조기에는 동쪽 방향으로의 흐름이, 소조기에는 서쪽으로의 흐름이 우세하였다. 잔차류는 연안에서 지형의 효과로 인하여 불규칙하게 나타났다. 연안역에서의 밀도류는 비교적 약하고 계절적인 차이는 작다. 외해에서는 특별한 유동현상을 주목해야 한다. 즉, 외양역에서의 흐름은 쓰시마 해류와 유사한 결과를 보이고 있다. 연안역에서의 취송류는 외해역에서 보다 매우 강하게 나타났다. 또한 표층의 해류가 저층의 해류보다 강하게 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통하여 남해안에서의 물질 이동 확산을 예측하기 위한 기초자료로 활용 가능 할 것으로 판단된다. In order to understand the flow properties of the South Sea of Korea, tidal currents, wind-driven currents, density-driven currents and residual flows were investigated by using 3-dimensional numerical model(POM). In offshore regions, tide-induced residual current tends to flow eastward during the spring tide and westward during the neap tide. Total residual flow is irregular due to the bottom topography in the coastal area. The density-driven currents in the coastal area showed to be relatively weak, with little seasonal differences. The special tendency was apparent in the open sea. That is, the flow in the offshore regions showed results similar to that of the Tsushima current. The wind-driven currents in the coastal area showed to be much stronger than in offshore regions. Vertically, the flow of the surface layer was much stronger than that of the bottom layer. Through these results, material transport and diffusion in the south coast, as a basis for predicting the spread of use is expected to be available.

The three-dimensional hydrodynamic model was simulated to understand coastal sea front of formation and seasonal variation in the Southern Sea of Korea. In this study, we used to concept of stratification factor, to realize seasonal distribution of stratification coefficient which of seasonal residual flow, considered with, tide, wind and density effect. Tidal current tends to flow westward during the flood and eastward during ebb. The current by the wind stress showed to be much stronger the coastal than the offshore area in the surface layer. And the current by the horizontal gradient of water density showed to be relatively weak in the coastal area, with little seasonal differences. On the other hand, the flow in the offshore area showed results similar to that of the Tsushima Warm Current. The stratification factor (SHv) was calculated by taking into account the total flow of tide, wind and density effect. In summer, the calculated SHv distribution ranged from 2.0 to 2.5, similar to that of the coastal sea front. The horizontal temperature gradient showed to be strong during the winter, when the vertical stratification is weak. On the other hand, the horizontal gradient became weak in summer, during which vertical stratification is strong. Therefore, it is presume that the strength of vertical stratification and the horizontal temperature gradient affect the position of the coastal sea front.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of practicing the learned practical arts and to identify its related variables. The sample for this study consisted of 468 sixth grade elementary school students from 4 resident areas with big-size, medium-size, small-size cities, and country side. The sample was surveyed using a questionnaire which consisted of two sections including practicing the learned practical arts statements and demographic information related statements. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and analysis of variance were utilized with post hoc multiple comparison procedures with an a priori alpha level of .05. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The level of practicing the learned practical arts was just beyond the theoretical average of the instrument. 2. The variables associated with practicing the learned practical arts were found including gender difference, perceived the practical arts subject achievement, practicing intent, social economic status, parents’ encouragement, and home equipment and facility level of the respondents. 3. Female students’ level of practicing the learned practical arts was a little higher than that of male students. 4. The higher the perceived practical arts subject achievement, the higher the level of practicing after learning practical arts subject. 5. The higher the level of students’ intent to practice, the higher the level of practicing after learning practical arts subject. 6. Stu-dents who perceived their social economic status as more stable had higher level of practicing. 7. Students who had more positive encouragement from their parents had higher level of practicing. 8. Students who had more home equipment and facility had higher level of practicing.

The purpose of this study was to review the operational cases of six extracurricular clubs related to practical arts in several elementary schools in Taegu, and to explore the contents and methods of practical arts education through extracurricular clubs. These examined six clubs were housekeeping, handicrafts, knitting, planting, raising, computer clubs. Results of this study showed that the success of a club related to practical arts depended upon the will of the responsible teacher. Those students participated in the clubs were satisfied with practical arts activities. The contents and methods of practical arts education which could be applied to the operation of the six extracurricular were suggested as a lesson schedule including the objectives, time table, materials, and activities in the paper.

We report the fabrication of a CdS/CuInGaSe (CdS/CIGS) structure with carbon nanotubes and its application as a photocathode for photoelectrochemical water splitting. CIGS thin films were fabricated using co-evaporation by RF magnetron sputtering, while CdS was fabricated by chemical bath deposition. Spray coated multi-wall carbon nanotube (CNT) film on CdS/CIGS thin film was investigated as a photocathode. The CNT-coated CdS/CIGS showed superior photocurrent density and exhibited improved photostability.
