        초 중학교 학생, 교사, 학교장의 학교폭력예방문화 인식 탐색

        본 연구는 학교폭력예방문화에 대한 학생, 교사, 학교장의 인식 탐색을 통해 단위학교에서 학교폭력 예방문화 조성을 위해 필요한 것이 무엇인지를 제안하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 또한 초등학교와 중 학교 간에 학교폭력예방문화 조성 요인에 차이가 있는가도 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 학생 응답의 총점을 이용하여 전체 응답학교 중 학교폭력예방문화 상위 25%(우수학교)와 하위 25%(미흡학교)를 추출하여 초등학교는 184개교, 중학교는 109개교의 자료를 통해 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 우수학교가 미흡 학교보다 학생, 교사의 학교폭력예방문화 요인(무관용의 학교풍토, 친화적 학교풍토, 학교폭력예방문화 지원, 지도성 등)에 대한 인식에서 긍정적인 차이가 확인되었다. 또한 우수학교가 미흡학교에 비해 학교 폭력 피해응답률이나, 학교폭력대책자치위원회 개최 횟수가 전혀 없는 학교가 더 많았고, 학교폭력예방 교육을 더 많이 실시하는 등 긍정적인 학교폭력 및 예방 실태가 확인되었다. 끝으로, 논의에서는 단위학 교와 시·도에서 학교폭력예방문화 조성을 위한 방안을 제안하였다. This study aimed to suggest what is necessary to enhance the prevention culture of school violence in a unit school by searching for the perceptions of students, teachers, and principals about prevention culture of school violence. Also, by including elementary and middle schools, this study examined the differences in factors that are important for the prevention of school violence culture according to the school level. This study extracted 25%(excellent schools) and 25%(poor schools) of the school violence prevention culture among all responding schools by using the total score of the students’ responses. 184 elementary schools and 109 middle schools were used. Results showed that principals perceived the importance of caring climate for school violence prevention culture. Also, there were significant differences in students’ and teachers’ perceptions about factors(school climate of zero-tolerant of school violence, caring school climate, supports for school violence prevention culture, leadership) between excellent schools and poor ones. In addition, in excellent schools there were more in zero school violence and a zero school violence councils’ meeting than in poor schools. Whereas, excellent schools implemented more school violence prevention education than poor schools did. Finally, in the discussion, we suggests ways to utilize the school violence prevention culture in the unit school and provinces.

        Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid, composed of more than 50 percent of free amino acid in the human body. It had been regarded as a conditional essential amino acid and its concentration is markedly reduced in critically ill patients with trauma, burn, or sepsis. From the early 1990s, many parenteral glutamine studies on critical illness have reported the benefits in mortality, infection, and length of stay. However, its clinical efficacy was based on out-of-date, smaller, single-center studies. Clinical effects of parenteral glutamine have shown no benefits or even harms in recent clinical trials and meta-analysis. Furthermore, it has challenged the hypothesis that low plasma glutamine concentration was associated with poor outcomes in critically ill patients. Although many studies showing the efficacy of glutamine have been reported, parenteral glutamine supplementation may be harmful in patients with multiorgan failure or baseline kidney dysfunction. Further studies should be conducted to identify the use of glutamine supplementation in combination with parenteral and enteral nutrition or enteral/oral nutrition alone, specific adult or pediatric patients, the appropriate time and doses for administration of glutamine, cost-benefit analysis, and the exact mechanisms of action.

        중학생의 부모유대관계유형에 따른 감사와 학교적응 비교

        본 연구에서는 중학생들을 대상으로 부모와의 유대관계 유형에 따른 집단 간 감사와 학교적응을 비교 해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경상북도 포항시에 소재한 A남자 중학교와 B여자 중학교의 재학생 총 730명을 최종분석대상으로 하였다. 청소년들을 대상으로 변인들 간의 상관을 살펴보기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관분석을 수행한 결과, 부모유대관계의 ‘돌봄’ 요인은 감사와 학교적응의 모든 하위 요인들(교우관계, 학업, 교사-학생관계 그리고 일반적인 학교생활)과 유의한 정적 상관을 보인데 반해, ‘과보호’ 요인은 감사와 학교적응의 모든 하위요인들과 유의한 부적 상관을 보였다. 또한, 부모유대관계의 ‘돌봄’ 요인 과 ‘과보호’ 요인의 평균치를 토대로 부모관계유형을 4개 집단(애정적 제약, 바람직한 양육, 무관심한 양육, 애정결여 통제)으로 구분하여 이에 따른 감사와 학교적응에 차이가 나타나는지를 살펴보기 위해 일 원 변량 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 부모유대관계의 유형에 따른 감사와 학교적응의 모든 하위 요인들에 서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로, 바람직한 양육집단의 학생들이 감사와 학교적응 의 모든 하위 요인들에서 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 이에, 부모로부터 애정적인 돌봄을 받되, 자율성과 독립성을 지나치게 통제받지 않는 바람직한 양육집단의 학생들이 감사하는 성향이 높으며, 학교생활에 적응을 잘하는 것임을 알 수 있다. This study was to examine the relationship between parental bonding, gratitude, and school adjustment in middle school students. 730 middle school students from Pohang city, Korea, completed and returned the questionnaires. Measures of parental bonding (i.e., care, and overprotection), gratitude, and school adjustment (i.e., friendship, school work, teacher-student relationship, school in general) were administered. Pearson’s product-moment coefficients indicated that parental bonding was statistically correlated with gratitude and school adjustment. Moreover, one-way analyses of variances indicated that statistically significant differences were observed on gratitude and school adjustment among the four types of parental bonding (i.e., Affectionate constraint, Optimal parenting, Neglectful parenting, Affectionless control). Particularly, the optimal parenting group showed higher gratitude and school adjustment ratings than the other three groups. Implications of the study were discussed in terms of parental bonding.

        Purpose: Intestinal failure (IF) is a complex clinical condition requiring a multi-disciplinary team approach. Our objective was to set up the treatment protocols and education documents for IF patients for development of intestinal rehabilitation programs in our hospital. Methods: We compared the number of inpatients, length of hospital stay, mode of nutrition and calorie supply at discharge, and the frequency of blood transfusions before and after quality improvement of multidisciplinary activities, in order to evaluate the indirect effects of new protocols and training materials and for development of the intestinal rehabilitation system. Results: We integrated eleven protocols for treatment and monitoring and seven educational materials for patients and caregivers. We compared indirect effects before and after the quality improvement activities. The number of IF patients hospitalized was reduced from 12 to 9. The mean days of hospital stay was decreased from 322 days to 73 days, the average number of monthly blood transfusions was also reduced from 1.8 to 0.3. In addition, the percentage of patients administered enteral nutrition and calories supplied was increased at discharge. Conclusion: By integrating IF protocols and education materials for IF patients, we found possible indirect effects of intestinal rehabilitation using a multidisciplinary team approach.

      • 성인 장부전 환자를 위한 영양집중지원 치료

        Intestinal failure (IF) is a condition, in which the intestinal function or length remaining is below the minimum amount required for the absorption of sufficient nutrients and fluid to maintain normal life. The nutritional supply of IF depends on the anatomical site, length, and function of the remaining bowel. The goals of nutritional therapy for patients with IF are to achieve bowel adaptation to absorb nutrients sufficiently to live a healthy life with the current intestinal condition, and to promote the enteral autonomy to control nutrient digestion, absorption, excretion, and bowel movement. To stabilize and recover the patient`s nutrition condition after a huge bowel resection, the intestinal rehabilitation team (IRT) for individual nutritional therapy should be established. IRT carefully monitors the changes in body weight, medication use, patient`s symptoms, nutrient deficiency, hydration status, function of the remaining bowel, degree of bowel adaptation, adverse effects due to nutritional therapy, and enteral balance. To achieve intestinal adaptation and enteral autonomy through complicated and difficult nutritional intensive therapy in IF patients, it is essential to manage the patients through multidisciplinary collaboration involving physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, and nurses.
