The optimum mixing tube length is recognized to give the maximum entrainment rate of suction fluid. Also, the diffuser ability with optimum design in a two-phase ejector to diffuse efficiently the high velocity mixture stream is of great importance to the overall momentum recovery of the ejector. The aim of this study is to investigate the mass ratio and lifting pressure characteristics with design parameters of two-phase ejector. The mixing tube length ratio and the area ratio of diffuser outlet to mixing tube are used to investigate the influence of geometry on the entrainment and pressure lifting characteristics. It was found that as the mixing tube length ratio increased or diffuser exit area ratio decreased the mass ratio and lifting pressure ratio increased and then decreased slightly or remained constant.

고무부품의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해서는 피로수명예측 및 평가기술 개발이 중요하다 하겠다. 최근에 고무부품에 대한 고 성능, 고 신뢰성을 위해 설계, 해석 및 평가기술이 요구되고 있으나, 지금까지는 경험과 시행착오적인방법으로 개발되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 고무소재에 대해 배합조건, 기계적 특성, 열화 및 피로수명등을 포함하는 고무소재 물성 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 고무부품의 특성해석 결과를 데이터베이스와 연계하여 고무부품의 피로해석 모델을 개발하였으며, 실제 피로시험 결과를 통하여 개발된 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다. The fatigue analysis and lifetime evaluation are very important in design procedure to assure the safety andreliability of the rubber components. Recently, the design, analysis and evaluation technology was required to achieve thehigh quality, fidelity, reliability of rubber products. However, rubber manufacturing companies of our country have uesd the method of trial and error and experience in the process of a compound mixing, manufacturing and improvement ofrubber properties. The objectives of this study are to establish the test methods of rubber material and to make the databaseof rubber material properties and to evaluate the performance of rubber components and to construct the prediction systemof fatigue life. Fatigue lifetime prediction methodology of the rubber component was proposed by incorporating the finite element analysis and fatigue damage parameter from fatigue test.

Essential thrombocythemia is a chronic myeloproliferative disorder of unknown origin, charcterized by excessive number of morphologically and functionally abnormal platelet in peripheral blood and abnormal proliferation of megakaryocytes in bone marrow. Its main clinical manifestations are hemorrhages and thromboses. The aim of therapy is suppression of the excessive bone marrow activity, which can be achieved by radioactive phosphorus, alkylating agent, hydroxyurea and interferon. Two cases were diagnosed at our hospital which had laboratory and clinical features compatible with this disease. We have successfully treated patient with hydroxyurea and platelet antiaggregating agent.
