240㎐ 프레임율을 가지는 FHD 디스플레이 시스템을 위한 JPEG 기반 정지영상 코덱의 구조

In the LCD-based flat-panel display systems at the FHD resolution with the high frame rate of more than 240㎐, the effective data rate can reach up to 1.9GB/s due to its high frame rate. Moreover considering the horizontal/vertical synchronization, the true data rate requires data transmission bandwidth of more than 2GB/s in practice. To support such massive bandwidth requirements, a number of DRAMs can be used with such artifacts as increased cost and power consumption. To solve these problems, a JPEG-based still image compression system is proposed. The proposed system has eight parallel decoders inside, and dispatches the incoming 128-bit bitstream for each decoder by utilizing 64-bit marker code that separates the bitstream into eight different segments. The proposed 64-bit marker is designed such that no marker emulation is possible, and make it easy to separate a single bitstream into eight bitstreams.
저가형 모바일 카메라를 위한 AWB/AE 광학특성 검출 모듈의 최적화

프레임 단위로 처리하는 카메라 영상 처리 기술에는 AWB, AE, AF 등이 있으며, AF는 고가의 초점제어 장치를 필요로 하기 때문에, AWB와 AE만이 모든 카메라에 기본적으로 탑재되는 핵심기능이다. ODM은 AWB나 AE 동작을 위해서 필요한 파라미터를 프레임 단위로 계산하는 하드웨어 모듈을 지칭한다. 본 논문에서는 R, G, B 평균값으로부터 밝기값을 연산하는 수식을 단순화하고, AE ODM과AWB ODM을 통합하여, AE와 AWB에서 필요로 하는 모든 가산/제산 연산을 단 한 개의 가산기와제산기를 이용하여 구현되는 ODM 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 ODM 구조 최소한의 연산자만을 사용하도록 구현되기 때문에, ISP를 내장하는 저가형 이미지 센서에 적합한 특성을 가진다.
낮은 복잡도를 가지는 구간선형 모델 기반 렌즈음영왜곡 보상 알고리즘

A low-complexity lens-shading correction algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm calculates the integer distance between the lens center and the current pixel location, apply it as the address to the Look-Up table(LUT) which stores the desired Lens-Shading Correction(LSC) gains, and then finally gets the corrected pixel value by multiplying the read gain to the input pixel value. To get the distance, a square root calculation has to be done. The square root calculation is simplified by using piecewise linear model, and thus requires only additions and multiplications without division or complex functions. The proposed algorithm is applied to a conventional camera module, and is proved to satisfy the industrial qualification requirement. Therefore, the proposed algorithm is very suitable for the hardware implementation, considering its visual quality and calculation cost.

Among the frame-based camera image processing techniques like AWB, AE, and AF, only AWB and AE are mandatory in the mobile camera implementation since AF requires an expensive equipment. ODM denotes the hardwired frame-based parameter extraction module necessary for AWB and AE operation. AWB works in the RGB domain, while AE in the luma domain. To combine the AWB ODM and the AE ODM, in this paper, the color space conversion equation from the R, G, B domain to the luma domain is simplified, and then the arithmetic operation orders for AWB and AE are rearranged to provide a hardware-efficient ODM architecture that has one adder and one divider. The proposed architecture is appropriate for ISP-embedded CIS for its minimum number of operators.
최적화된 건강관리를 위한 표준 프로토콜 기반 헬스케어 서비스 개발

The purpose of this study is to develop a healthcare service based on standard protocol and information communication technology for mother’s sustainable postpartum care. The developed service was consisted of a client area where mothers measure, manage and transmit their vital signs using their own smartphone and personal health devices, and a server area that manages and shares with the received mother’s vital signs and the results of examination results and personal health records. The client area collects vital signs through the IEEE 11073 Personal Health Device (PHD) using the m-health application of the previous study and Continua Health alliance certified personal health devices and transfers to Health Level Seven (HL7) V2.4, Continuity of Care Record (CCR) and Continuity of Care Document (CCD). The server area consists of a mobile web that manages and shares the HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)-compliant personal health records to ensure interoperability of examination results, and a mobile web where the postpartum caregiver enters and manages the results of the mother’s examination results and provides it to the mother. In this way, the healthcare service of this study securing continued exchanges between the mother and postpartum caregiver improves the quality of life of the mother not only to satisfy the needs of the mother who was discharged but also through self-management and postpartum. In the future, we will conduct a study applying mothers and postpartum caregiver after approval of a clinical trail at a university hospital to evaluate developed healthcare services.

기존의 HL7 인터페이스는 서로 다른 버전의 HL7 메시지를 처리하기 위해 버전마다 별도의 패키지 또는 변환 모듈로 개발해야 한다. 본 연구는 HL7 V2.5에 정의된 버전 호환성 요구사항을 기반으로 버전 간 호환 가능한 HL7 파서를 설계하고 개발하였다. 파서의 구조는 객체지향 프로그래밍에서의 상속 개념을 이용하여 하위 버전의 HL7 메시지 요소의 클래스 객체 를 상위 버전의 클래스 객체가 상속하였다. 따라서 HL7 메시지의 버전에 상관없이 상위 클래스 객체만을 사용하여 모든 버전의 HL7 메시지를 처리할 수 있었다. 개발한 파서의 호환성 평가는 700건의 류마티스 입원 환자 데이터를 이용하였으며 성공적으로 테스트를 수행하였다. 향후에는 버전 간 상호 호환 가능한 HL7 파서의 구조에 대한 연구를 지속적으로 할 것이다. The previous HL7 interface should be developed as a separate package or conversion module for each version to process HL7 messages from different versions. This study designed and developed an HL7 parser compatible among different versions based on the requirements of compatibility defined in HL7 V2.5. According to the structure of the parser, the inheritance concept in object-oriented programming was adopted so that the class object of the HL7 message from the lower version could be inherited to the class object of the upper version. Therefore, every version’s HL7 messages could be processed using only the upper class’ object regardless of the version. To evaluate the compatibility of the developed parser, 700 data sets about inpatients with rheumatoid arthritis were used. The 700 cases underwent the compatibility test successfully. In the near future, further research on the Inter-compatibility HL7 parser is planned.
