      • 고정대역 네트워크에서 혼잡윈도우 제한에 의한 TCP 성능개선

        본 논문은 고정대역 네트워크에서 최대 TCP 혼잡윈도우를 제한하여, 버퍼 크기와 무관하게 안정적인 성능과 전송률을 제공할 수 있는 혼잡회피 알고리즘을 제안한다. 현재는 AIMD(Additive Increase, Multiplicative Decrease) 기반의 혼잡제어 방법이 가장 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 AIMD 기반의 TCP 혼잡제어 방법은 고정대역 네트워크에서 불필요하게 성능을 저하시키는 문제가 있다는 것이 여러 연구결과를 통해 알려져 있다. 또한 TCP의 톱니파형 데이터율로 안정적인 데이터 전송률이 필요한 응용에 적용하기 어렵다. 제안된 알고리즘은 필요에 따라 공평성을 유지하며 혼잡에 의한 손실을 방지하기 위해 혼잡윈도우의 크기를 제한한다. 최대 혼잡윈도우의 크기를 병목노드에서 데이터 축적을 방지하는 지연 정보로 결정하여, 별도의 버퍼와 윈도우 제어절차 없이 연결의 성능과 전송율이 안정적이도록 한다. 다양한 경우에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 호환성, 정상상태의 성능, 정상상태 손실 패킷 수, 그리고 혼잡윈도우의 분산 등으로 특성을 검증하였다. 제안된 방법은 송신단의 간단한 수정으로 적용이 가능하며, 네트워크 라우터와 사용자 프로그램의 수정이 불필요하여 확산이 용이한 장점을 가지며, 고정대역 네트워크로 볼 수 있는 국내 초고속인터넷 접속망에 적용하면 성능개선을 얻을 수 있다. This paper proposes a congestion avoidance algorithm which provides stable throughput and transmission rate regardless of buffer size by limiting the TCP congestion window in fixed bandwidth networks. Additive Increase, Multiplicative Decrease (AIMD) is the most commonly used congestion control algorithm. But, the AIMD-based TCP congestion control method causes unnecessary packet losses and retransmissions from the congestion window increment for available bandwidth verification when used in fixed bandwidth networks. In addition, the saw tooth variation of TCP throughput is inappropriate to be adopted for the applications that require low bandwidth variation. We present an algorithm in which congestion window can be limited under appropriate circumstances to avoid congestion losses while still addressing fairness issues. The maximum congestion window is determined from delay information to avoid queueing at the bottleneck node, hence stabilizes the throughput and the transmission rate of the connection without buffer and window control process. Simulations have performed to verify compatibility, steady state throughput, steady state packet loss count, and the variance of congestion window. The proposed algorithm can be easily adopted to the sender and is easy to deploy avoiding changes in network routers and user programs. The proposed algorithm can be applied to enhance the performance of the high-speed access network which is one of the fixed bandwidth networks.

      • LPWA 기반 IoT 전용 네트워크 기술동향

        넓은 커버리지를 요구하는 응용이 늘면서 서비스 지연에 민감하지 않은 소량의 데이터를 전달하기에 적합한 LPWA 네트워크 기술이 주목받고 있다. 본고는 LPWA 네트워크기술을 시장과 밀접한 관련을 갖고있는 무선 대역으로 구분하여, 비면허 대역 기술과 면허 대역 기술로 나누어 최근 개발 및 확산 동향을 살펴본다. 특히, 비면허 대역의 대표적인 기술인 Sigfox, LoRaWAN, PRMA 등의 기술을 다루었으며, 면허 대역의 기술로는 3GPP의 LTE기술을 중심으로 살펴본다. 또한, LPWA네트워크 기술과 관련하여 최근 진행 중인 IETF의 표준화 동향을 정리한다.

        Wireless communication technology has mainly been used to fulfill the demands of industrial sites at which performance is not a critical concern. However, ongoing discussions and efforts are now focused on securing core wireless communication technologies to enable the transformation or expansion of wired industrial IoT (Internet of Things) network technology into a flexible and dynamic smart manufacturing system. This paper provides an overview of current wireless industrial IoT network technology and the recent wireless time-sensitive networking technology. It outlines the challenging level of reliability required for wireless communication technology to coexist with or replace its wired counterpart in future smart manufacturing systems. Additionally, we introduce ultra-reliable time deterministic network as the core technology of wireless industrial communications and focus on its reliability and delay characteristics.

        Al-Si 용융도금된 11%Cr 페라이트 스테인리스강, STS409L GTA 용접부의 미세조직과 경도

        Ferritic stainless steels, which have relatively small thermal expansion coefficient and excellent corrosion resistance, are increasingly being used in vehicle manufacturing, in order to increase the lifetime of exhaust manifold parts. But, there are limits on use because of the problem related to cosmetic resistance, corrosions of condensation and high temperature salt etc. So, Aluminum-coated stainless steel instead of ferritic stainless steel are utilized in these parts due to the improved properties. In this investigation, Al-8wt% Si alloy coated 409L ferritic stainless steel was used as the base metal during Gas Tungsten Arc(GTA) welding. The effects of coated layer on the microstructure and hardness were investigated. Full penetration was obtained, when the welding current was higher than 90A and the welding speed was lower than 0.52m/min. Grain size was the largest in fusion zone and decreased from near HAZ to base metal. As welding speed increased, grain size of fusion zone decreased, and there was no big change in HAZ. Hardness had a peak value in the fusion zone and decreased from the bond line to the base metal. The highest hardness in the fusion zone resulted from the fine re-precipitation of the coarse TiN and Ti(C, N) existed in the base metal during melting and solidification process and the presence of fine $Al_2O_3$ and $SiO_2$ formed by the migration of the elements, Al and Si, from the melted coating layer into the fusion zone.

        혼합미생물배양체를 이용한 폐활성슬러지 가용화 산물로부터 polyhydroxyalkanoate 생합성

        SA-TSA 복합구를 이용해 폐활성슬러지로부터 VFAs를 생산하고, 이를 발효 기질로 이용해 PHA를 생산하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 30%의 SA-TSA 복합구를 처리하였을 때 폐활성슬러지의 가용화 효율이 가장 효과적으로 일어나서 약 3,900 mg/L의 SCOD값을 얻었으며, acetic acid, propionic acid, iso-butyric acid 및 butyric acid를 주성분으로 하는 2,961 mg/L 농도의 VFAs를 얻었다. VFAs를 외부탄소원으로 이용하는 SBR 공정을 통해 PHA를 생합성하는 미생물을 농화배양하는 실험을 수행하고 PCR-DGGE로 분석한 결과, 우점 미생물로 Vibrio spp.와 Corynebacterium glutamicum이 확인되었다. 폐활성슬러지로부터 얻은 VFAs를 탄소원으로 사용하여 농화된 혼합미생물배양체를 회분배양한 결과, 건체량의 25.9%에 달하는 PHB를 얻었다. 본 연구결과는 SA-TSA 복합구를 이용하여 폐활성슬러지로부터 VFAs를 얻음으로써 폐슬러지 감량화 효과를 얻고, 또 혼합미생물배양체를 이용하여 VFAs를 바이오폴리머로 전환함으로써 경제성을 확보할 수 있는 새로운 생물공정의 가능성을 보여준다. A new approach to the solubilization of waste activated sludge (WAS) using alginate-quaternary ammonium complex beads was investigated under controlled mild alkaline conditions. The complex beads were prepared by the reaction of sodium alginate (SA) with 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl-octadecyldimethylammonium chloride (TSA) in acid solution, followed by crosslinking with $CaCl_2$. Treatment of WAS with SA-TSA complex beads was effective for enhancing the efficacy of WAS solubilization. The highest value of soluble chemical oxygen demand (SCOD) concentration (3,900 mg/L) was achieved after 10 days of treatment with 30% (v/v) SA-TSA complex beads. The WAS solubilization efficacy of the complex beads was also evaluated by estimating the concentrations of volatile fatty acids (VFAs). The maximum value of VFAs was 2,961 mg/L, and the overall proportions of VFAs were more than 75% of SCOD. The main components of VFAs were acetic, propionic, iso-butyric, and butyric acids. These results suggest that SA-TSA complex beads might be useful for enhancing the solubilization of WAS. The potential use of VFAs as the external carbon substrate for the production of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) by a mixed microbial culture (MMC) was also examined. The enrichment of PHA-accumulating MMC could be achieved by periodic feeding of VFAs generated from WAS in a sequencing batch reactor. The composition of PHA synthesized from VFAs mainly consisted of 3-hydroxybutyrate. The maximum PHA content accounted for 25.9% of dry cell weight. PHA production by this process is considered to be promising since it has a doubly beneficial effect on the environment by reducing the amount of WAS and concomitantly producing an eco-friendly biopolymer.

        편측 성대마비에서 Restylane을 이용한 성대내 주입치료 1예 -증 례 보 고-

        When a person was suffered from vocal cord paralysis or glottic insufficiency, injection materials (e.g Teflon, Bovine collagen, Autologous fat & tendon, Gelfoam) into the vocal cord have been widely used. But each injection material has some disadvantage. We introduce the Restylane which is composed of a hyaluronic acid, artificially producted. It has advantage of rate foreign body reaction, proper endurance, easy to injection. The patient was 55-year-old woman who showed left vacal cord paralysis after pneumonectomy due to aspergillosis, taken the type I thyroplasty and arytenoid adduction. The middle portion of left vocal cord has some atropic mucosal change, slight chink was noted. The restylane injection into vocal cord was done with suspension laryngoscopy under general anesthesia. In the 3 month follow-up after Restylane injection, the quality of voice has been better progressively. We report a case of Restylane injection as a new method for the improvement of quality of voice.

        CP강의 디스크레이저 용접부의 경도특성에 미치는 B 함유량의 영향

        CP steel was developed to reduce the weight and increase the strength of car body. When it was welded using state-of-the-art disk laser welding, the effected of boron on the microstructure and hardness were investigated. Welding power was fixed at 3.5kW and welding speeds were 4,8 and 12m/min. Full penetration occurred in welding speed of 12m/min and weld bead was almost unchanged with boron contents. But the welding speed increased, the upper and lower bead were narrowed. In a welding speed of more than 8m/min, underfill defects were formed on the bead bottom. The hardness of weld zone was somewhat fluctuation in fusion zone and HAZ showed the highest hardness values. The hardness of each region showed little change with the boron contents, and softening phenomenon occurred in the HAZ near the base metal regardless of the boron contents.

        N타입 결정질 실리콘 웨이퍼 두께 및 알루미늄 페이스트 도포량 변화에 따른 Bowing 및 Al doped p<sup>+</sup> layer 형성 분석

        In this study, in order to improve the efficiency of n-type monocrystalline solar cells with an Alu-cell structure, we investigate the effect of the amount of Al paste in thin n-type monocrystalline wafers with thicknesses of $120{\mu}m$, $130{\mu}m$, $140{\mu}m$. Formation of the Al doped $p^+$ layer and wafer bowing occurred from the formation process of the Al back electrode was analyzed. Changing the amount of Al paste increased the thickness of the Al doped $p^+$ layer, and sheet resistivity decreased; however, wafer bowing increased due to the thermal expansion coefficient between the Al paste and the c-Si wafer. With the application of $5.34mg/cm^2$ of Al paste, wafer bowing in a thickness of $140{\mu}m$ reached a maximum of 2.9 mm and wafer bowing in a thickness of $120{\mu}m$ reached a maximum of 4 mm. The study's results suggest that when considering uniformity and thickness of an Al doped $p^+$ layer, sheet resistivity, and wafer bowing, the appropriate amount of Al paste for formation of the Al back electrode is $4.72mg/cm^2$ in a wafer with a thickness of $120{\mu}m$.
